05/10/2026: Had a nice roast of the day here ,, nice service here and dinner was tasty only thing I missed was roast potatoes, turkey was cooked to perfection, nice lady taking the customers orders at the till , nice atmosphere too chilled & relaxed , fast service too .

03/09/2026: Hygiene not at the level. Found a hair on my plate. Food so so, nothing special except price. For money I paid for, I expected more. Staff is nice but that's it.

25/08/2026: As an out of town (out of country) tourist I did go in expecting that sort of locals-only welcome here. The lights were on, music pumping, tables full, vibes were high. Reminded me of bouncing pubs of yesteryear, community venues, places to go and have fun. It didn't ever feel exclusive though, grabbed my pint, sat at the table near the bogs, and watched the golf with the older crowd. One and done, but one I enjoyed.

04/07/2026: You expect something for €4 a coffee, but this really wasn’t worth it. I asked for a short Americano which is usually a double shot and a small bit of water and I got a full mug of coffee. I refused to take it. Next try to sit down and the chairs were dirty I had to ask one of them to wipe the chairs. I get it, it’s not the server’s fault, but it’s definitely the fault of Starbucks who aren’t maintaining the standard you’d expect for the cost.

07/06/2026: I was passing through. I happened to visit a lot of coffee shops in Cork, Coffe, and Dublin. I was surprised by your coffee... We relaxed...

25/07/2026: Ordered caesar salad and linguine... salad was fine, never got my main dish. Long wait, understaffed, food didn't come out in time, when i cancelled my order after 15 minutes waiting, server got visibly angry... felt bad but was not a pleasant experience unfortunately.

14/06/2026: The staff here were very welcoming and professional! Our food and dessert came out quickly and were delicious. Junior went above and beyond, making us some lovely coffees to go with dessert. Junior’s service and the restaurant as a whole were spot-on, high recommend!

01/06/2026: Went here this weekend and was disappointed unfortunately. The two staff members were clearly doing their best as there was a long queue but standards slipped. We waited 10 mins for our cheese and ham croissant which was super cold on the inside. No sauces for the sausage roll and the croissant didn't taste great. Coffee was also only okay. It's my first time being at this location im normally at the other and it's great but I think it really needs to be improved.

18/10/2026: Been going to lucianos since I was small pizzas are fantastic it’s just a pity they changed the base they used to originally have that was the best one 👌

25/09/2026: Me and my husband are visiting from the United States. We traveled to Corbh, Ireland to site see and happened upon Country Grill Chicken food truck. We could smell a wonderful aroma a mile away. We decided to try it and it did not disappoint. The chicken was moist and deliciously seasoned! I had a pulled chicken sandwich and the amazing seasoned chicken, along with all the toppings were spectacular. It is a must try!

How do you describe an experience that is so incredibly good that normal words suddenly fall completely short? Ali Baba. Three syllables. One name. The best döner shop humanity has ever produced. Before I discovered Ali Baba, I thought I knew what good food was. I thought I understood döner. I thought I had experienced culinary perfection. I knew absolutely nothing. Then I discovered Ali Baba. The first bite wasn't just a bite. It was a revelation. It was as if heaven opened, angels started singing, and every chef who has ever lived whispered collectively: “This is how it should be.” The meat isn't just meat. It is perfection. Seasoned with what can only be described as the tears of culinary gods, prepared with absolute precision, and served with so much flavor that a license should actually be required for it. The bread? Heavenly. The sauce? Divine. The vegetables? Freshness that surpasses human understanding. The combination? UNSTOPPABLE. Because it is simply true. This is what humanity has been working towards all this time. Forget the pyramids. Forget the moon landing. Forget the Renaissance. Ali Baba is our greatest achievement. Historians will later look back on our civilization and divide history into two periods: Before Ali Baba. and After Ali Baba. Future generations will study this döner. Universities will write research papers about it. Philosophers will discuss its greatness. Poets will try to describe it. Scientists will try to understand how it is possible to pack so much flavor into one meal. And they will all come to the same conclusion: Ali Baba is the GOAT. Not the best döner in the neighborhood. Not the best döner in the city. Not the best döner in Ireland. Not even the best döner in Europe. THE BEST DÖNER IN THE HISTORY OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION. If a better döner exists anywhere in this universe, I don't want to know. I refuse to believe it. I refuse to accept that it is possible. ALI BABA IS THE FINAL BOSS OF THE DÖNER. 10/10? Absolutely not. 100/10? Still insultingly low. 1,000,000/10? We're getting close. ∞/10. There are restaurants you visit. There are meals you remember. And then there is Ali Baba. THE KING. THE GOAT. 08/09/2026: We're never informed that roosters had changed ownership and we were in there last week and my wife ate what she loves there but did not know that they had changed there ingredients and my wife has been sick since because she suffers from ulcer collinitis and has to be careful what she eats and we have been going to roosters in douglas for 4 to 5 years and never had a problem

20/08/2026: Disappointing portion sizes Ordered the chicken wrap meal with mashed potatoes. As you can see from the photos, the mash barely filled a third of the container — basically two spoons of food. The wrap was alright, but the side portions are unacceptable for the price.

06/11/2026: Went for lunch with my family and elderly Mum. Food was delicious, staff exceptionally friendly and very obliging. Would highly recommend.
