01/05/2026: Ordered a large pizza, got toppings only in the inner pizza the outer pizza is was mostly empty with just cheese. Asked dominos spices but it was full of salt? I don't know how they managed to make pizza this bad. Made me appreciate the dominos in my small town so much more.

14/02/2026: Love their baguettes, last time I’ll be ordering from here though. New €2 service charge introduced, spotted this while making online order. Assumed it was for the cost of the website so gave them a call to order over phone and they quoted the same price. Asked what this charge is for and I was advised this was going towards the delivery drivers. There is also a delivery fee of €3. So €5 total for local delivery. This place is way overpriced for what you get, the prices just keep going up. They are trying to squeeze every cent out of us and we should not stand or support this behaviour.

14/08/2026: The lady serving us seemed to have very little understanding of good customer service. I ordered a 4-in-1 and asked for satay sauce. She brought it as requested, but there was so much satay sauce on the food that I could not eat it. I wish she had explained or warned me beforehand about how much sauce they normally put on it. Had I known, I would either have asked for less sauce or not ordered it at all. Good customer service is not just about taking an order; it also involves communicating properly with customers and helping them make informed choices. Unfortunately, that was missing from my experience.

07/08/2026: I was there recently and had a bad experience with the server a foreign white lady with brown bobbed haircut with a very nasty attitude. Ahe served my elderly relative the wrong type of coffee I rebought and paid for a new one for my relative and when I brought the other in for her to dispose of she nearly flipped out as she thought I probably wanted a free one. I had to explain to her all I wanted was for her to dispose of the wrong coffee she previously gave and she knew I had already paid for another one. She calmed down then but was still rude and unapologetic. Thank God my elderly relative didn't go back in to explain about the coffee because she probably would have attacked her.

13/05/2026: Chicken frie rice was very poor, it was boiled rice, a lot of peas and carrots and a few little bits of chicken. Didn't touch a wok in my opinion. 3 in 1 was ok. The ribs were a good portion and the sauce was nice.

04/05/2026: Got the Spicy Salt and Chilli Chips today and they had sugar on them, which I wasn’t expecting. When I called, I was told that’s just how they make them. I said it wasn’t for me and I wouldn't order that again, but got told, 'I could find them somewhere else, thanks' and she hung up the phone. Rang back and spoke with who I believe may have been the owner/manager and was told I basically shouldn’t be calling to complain, thats how they make them for the last 25 years . He felt she wasn't rude in how she handled the call as he was next to her. Fair enough if that’s their recipe, but the way it was handled wasn’t great.

06/08/2026: Order a toasted special yesterday. Only thing special about it was the price....SIXTEEN BLOODY EURO FOR THIS !!! I paid in advance at the till thinking that for the price that maybe there will be french fries with it, hence the expensive cost. Even at that, it still would have been expensive without tea or coffee and in a kip of a place with plain uncomfortable wooden seats. The "special" consisted of two slices of plain toasted white bread cut in half, about two slices of ordinary process ham, bit of grated cheese, small bit of onion and tomato...and a few crisps that wouldnt cover the palm of your hand....€16!! RIP OFF!!! That morning in town I had got a breakfast in Tony's Bistro North Main St for €16 which had the same amount of toasted bread plus a slice of McCambridge wheat bread, 3 sausages, 3 bacon, an egg, a hash brownie and a coffee! DO NOT GO TO PATONIS....if your a small bit peckish and not too fussy, save yourseld a tenner and go into Tesco and buy a made up sambo for a fiver and sit in the public seating which is just as comfortable.....or just starve!

29/07/2026: My toastie had a hair in it and they asked if it could be cheese it was clearly a hair..they made another one for me with everything I didn’t want on it im pregnant and allergic to tomato’s. Also the taytos were stale The bread was barely toasted but I will say the customer service was great. Everything else was absolutely terrible. My partner got sick after the food once he was home he was completely fine before that. Very disappointed but I will say the service was great and the staff were very friendly.

02/08/2026: No cards taken at drive through, noone answered the drive through ordering station so had to wait until I got to the window, and then wait for the food

04/07/2026: You expect something for €4 a coffee, but this really wasn’t worth it. I asked for a short Americano which is usually a double shot and a small bit of water and I got a full mug of coffee. I refused to take it. Next try to sit down and the chairs were dirty I had to ask one of them to wipe the chairs. I get it, it’s not the server’s fault, but it’s definitely the fault of Starbucks who aren’t maintaining the standard you’d expect for the cost.

20/09/2026: I don't even know where to begin. How do you judge something that has completely changed your view of food? How do you describe an experience that is so incredibly good that normal words suddenly fall completely short? Ali Baba. Three syllables. One name. The best döner shop humanity has ever produced. Before I discovered Ali Baba, I thought I knew what good food was. I thought I understood döner. I thought I had experienced culinary perfection. I knew absolutely nothing. Then I discovered Ali Baba. The first bite wasn't just a bite. It was a revelation. It was as if heaven opened, angels started singing, and every chef who has ever lived whispered collectively: “This is how it should be.” The meat isn't just meat. It is perfection. Seasoned with what can only be described as the tears of culinary gods, prepared with absolute precision, and served with so much flavor that a license should actually be required for it. The bread? Heavenly. The sauce? Divine. The vegetables? Freshness that surpasses human understanding. The combination? UNSTOPPABLE. Every bite is better than the last, and yet that final bite is still one of the hardest moments of saying goodbye you will ever experience. I sincerely believe that Ali Baba has ruined döner for me forever. And I mean that as the greatest possible compliment. Historians will later look back on our civilization and divide history into two periods: Before Ali Baba. and After Ali Baba. Future generations will study this döner. Universities will write research papers about it. Philosophers will discuss its greatness. Poets will try to describe it. Scientists will try to understand how it is possible to pack so much flavor into one meal. And they will all come to the same conclusion: Ali Baba is the GOAT. Not the best döner in the neighborhood. Not the best döner in the city. Not the best döner in Ireland. Not even the best döner in Europe. THE BEST DÖNER IN THE HISTORY OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION. If a better döner exists anywhere in this universe, I don't want to know. I refuse to believe it. I refuse to accept that it is possible. ALI BABA IS THE FINAL BOSS OF THE DÖNER. 10/10? Absolutely not. 100/10? Still insultingly low. 1,000,000/10? We're getting close. ∞/10. There are restaurants you visit. There are meals you remember. And then there is Ali Baba. THE KING. THE GOAT. THE LEGEND. THE CHAMPION. THE UNDISPUTED EMPEROR OF THE DÖNER. Long live Ali Baba. 👑🐐🔥🥙 I came for döner. I left after witnessing pure greatness.

19/07/2026: Fresh food, great value, and friendly service! I went around lunch time and got 2 meals worth of food for only 10 euro! I stayed behind after to chat with the only employee working that day and ended up having a great conversation with him! Would recommend :)

22/08/2026: We ordered online for collection from Dinos Bishopstown. We normally go to the Ballincollig location, but after having a few disappointing experiences there recently, we decided to give the Bishopstown location a try instead. Unfortunately, we were left very disappointed again. When we got home after collecting our order, we realised that a garlic cheese chips, which was part of my meal, was missing. I then had to drive all the way back to Bishopstown to have it sorted. When I explained what had happened and asked if my meal could be remade, as it had gone cold after having to drive back out because of their mistake, the gentleman behind the counter made a face as though I was being unreasonable for asking. He said he needed to speak to a manager, which is fair enough, but while my food was being remade, both he and the girl at the counter were sniggering about the situation between themselves. I found this extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable, particularly when I was already inconvenienced by an error that wasn’t mine. I do want to mention that the Irish lady who I assume was the manager was absolutely lovely. She was very kind, apologised for the mistake and handled the situation professionally, so I have no complaints about her whatsoever. Unfortunately, the food itself wasn’t great either. The chips were stale and tasted as though they had been sitting around and then put back into the oil to heat them up. Considering the time and money spent, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. We genuinely hoped Bishopstown would be better than our recent experiences in Ballincollig, but unfortunately it seems Dinos has really gone downhill across the board. There are plenty of other chippers around that provide much better food and, more importantly, basic customer service and professionalism. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time and money here.

01/06/2026: Went here this weekend and was disappointed unfortunately. The two staff members were clearly doing their best as there was a long queue but standards slipped. We waited 10 mins for our cheese and ham croissant which was super cold on the inside. No sauces for the sausage roll and the croissant didn't taste great. Coffee was also only okay. It's my first time being at this location im normally at the other and it's great but I think it really needs to be improved.
