25/10/2025: Really friendly staff, delicious food and reasonable prices!

12/10/2025: Went to the Brasserie Bar, and it was great. The vibe was just okay, initially I felt a bit bored. But the service made me really happy, especially thanks to Aisling and Vitor. They were amazing, so friendly and made me feel comfortable. They truly made the night easy and fun.Definitely a go-back spot for a drink and a good chat!

21/09/2025: Very unwelcoming staff. Food was sad and miserable. My pork roast was completely dried out, the rest of the food wasn't much better.

27/08/2025: Ate lunch here before flying out of Cork airport. We both ordered burgers. I noticed how quickly they came out and how fast other tables got their food too. I worked in hotels myself for years and that is not necessarily a good sign. The burgers themselves were ok but they seemed somewhat ready made. We both had upset stomachs by the evening time. I do not recommend. The staff and service were excellent. I can’t give more than 1 star because of the food issue.

07/09/2025: I’ve been to Golden Bites today, the new shop on Washington Street, with my young son. We were warmly welcomed, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and aesthetically nice. However, I do have some concerns. When placing my order, I made it very clear that my cappuccino should be made with oat milk (for health reasons I cannot consume dairy). Unfortunately, I received a cappuccino with regular milk. I didn’t complain at the time because I’m not the type of person who likes to create conflict at an establishment, but I mentioned twice at the counter that it should be with oat milk. Another point: I’m not sure if I was charged for two portions of grilled buttered bread since I received four slices, but I only ordered one portion, which I believe should be two slices. I also wasn’t given a receipt, so I couldn’t verify the charge. Once again, the environment is very pleasant, and the staff was kind and attentive. However, we have already experienced issues with delivery orders in the past — missing items, wrong orders, etc. I expected that visiting in person would be different, but unfortunately, the same kind of issues happened. This makes it a little difficult to want to return. I truly hope this is just something temporary due to the new location

09/12/2025: Not good, bought a few stuffs there, didn’t check the expiration date, some of the items are much more expensive than the other Asian shops. Kimchi package bloated when I arrived home, then I checked the expiration date, it has expired for two days. Then I checked all the stuff I bought, one of the sauces I bought has been expired for three months.

06/12/2025: The Junction CX Oriental pretty much has everything you could want from an Asian supermarket. They stock all the big names — 辛拉面, 李锦记, 旺旺, Yeo’s, 老干妈, even popular brand of candy Sweetking. There’s also a huge range of dumplings and 包子 in all sorts of flavours, plus loads of fresh fruit, veg, meat and seafood. If you’re after a proper one-stop shop for Asian ingredients, this place is honestly your best bet. I pop in most weeks, and in winter especially — they’ve got everything you need for a super delicious hotpot.

06/01/2026: I was twice in this place. Like you came into Fellini bad movies. Waiters don't speak English and looked like they forced to be here. Food really felt shrinkflation, salmon bento box is not salmon fillet or darnes - you get 4 pieces of unknown meat, looks like leftovers. Waiters speak bad English and I felt I'm bothering them every time I asked something. Much better places around

26/09/2025: We've gone to Soba in Blackpool regularly since we moved to the area four years ago, and we've never once had a bad experience. The food is top value for money and always consistent, which makes all the difference in the world to my partner, who is on the spectrum. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant and professional. And the staff are just wonderful. Sincere, mindful, on the ball. Our four year old insists on coming with me when we pick up food - or sit in - to say hi to Andy and his fellow staff, to pet the wobbling cat ornament on the counter, and no doubt, because I can't remember the last time he didn't walk out of there with a complimentary lollipop or hand full of candy. Fabulous restaurant in every way.

26/02/2026: Quesadilla this was awful I have tried the burrito and that was ok and the classic bowl the same. But this is different a long wait for this quesadilla and the girl working there put 2 pieces of meat a little tomato and a little onion the whole thing was just lettuce and enough cheese but the cheese was like plastic and has no taste also the quesadillas aren’t quesadillas at all they are just two wraps plopped on top of each other and put into the toaster for a millisecond so extremely messy to eat wouldn’t recommend for children

24/02/2026: The staff in here are always so pleasant and friendly. They keep the restaurant very clean. The food is always lovely. Sometimes small things can be forgotten but that’s human error. I much prefer this particular McDonald’s to the other one in the city!

14/02/2026: They took my niece away while we were waiting for our food. "Huh... This Mc Niece burger sure tastes weird ..."

28/12/2025: Definitely no. Never again. This should just be a take-away if even that. We were using the laundrette across the way so had some food while waiting. Medicore at best. Over priced too and I know prices are going up but this was ridiculous. Toilet smells like damp/mould and toilet doors dont have locks. Lobby area into bathroom smells like cigarettes smoke. Bathroom bi nis covered in rust with the soap balancing on it. Like faulty towers. Do not recommend

01/09/2025: Still chewing the beef 2 hours later and still half left

28/12/2025: Staff was very unhelpful and rude getting our orders wrong when there was only us and 2 other tables in the restaurant . Food was very good but we found charcoal in one of our burgers and the sauces available were very watery. Nando’s is cheaper and way better

08/12/2025: I was there on Saturday, we placed our order, and the service was terrible. The food was getting cold when it was ready, and there was only one server to serve and clean tables, and she preferred cleaning tables to bringing the orders. Besides the delay, when she finally brought it, she didn't bring everything at once; I had to ask twice for the rest and the soda. The food is still wonderful, but the service has declined.

24/07/2025: Very good coffee is drunk here with some very good snacks, although everything is very good, breakfast, lunch and snacks, the competition is very fierce here in the city of Cork in relation to cafes and snack bars. A few years ago, you didn't see a cafe, so to speak!!! Now they are everywhere. What I mean is that this cafe called Noir has to create its brand, its specialty, so that people are interested and identify with it. I hope it stays open for a long time and I wish you the best of luck in its development.

24/07/2025: The coffee here is very good, along with some very good snacks. Although everything is very good – breakfast, lunch, and snacks – the competition is very high here in Cork regarding cafes and snack bars. A few years ago, you wouldn't see a cafe like this anywhere else, so to speak! Now they're everywhere. What I mean is that this cafe, called Noir, needs to create its own brand, its own specialty, so that people become interested and identify with it. I hope it stays open for a long time and I wish it the best of luck in its future endeavors.

23/04/2025: Very well known pub, I have been a few times for a couple pints of Murphy’s and I was delighted myself, is a pub with his own loyal customers and every week with live music I always remember this pub here in cork and looks like is a pub to be here for many years to come I hope so.

29/04/2025: Just had a delivery from Pizza Daddy. We had the fried chicken kebab, chicken tikka kebab, taco fries and a burger. Extremely happy with the food and quality. Fast delivery through Just Eat, and a loyalty card system with Pizza Daddy through just eat! Love loyalty systems! We will definitely buy again, not just because of the loyalty program, but the brilliant food. Thanks Pizza Daddy.
