06/11/2025: Stopped in after visiting Blarney Castle. Was greated by an extremely rude young girl w red hair. Sat us at a table and said she'd be back with menus. Short time later she returned and literally threw the heavy menus down on the table which startled everyone sitting w us. Then she just turned around and walked away. We all looked at each other and said " we are not eating here" and got up. We then returned the menus by throwing them back on the bar. The owners should hire employees that want to work, they lost money because of this young ladies attitude
03/11/2025: We only stayed for drinks, they had a great selection, even got some lovely hot chocolates too.
Staff were brilliant and there was a great atmosphere.
Unfortunately there wasn't much in the way of vegetarian food options. The one alternative main I saw was offered at the same price as the premium meat option, I didn't really feel they were equal value meals so we went elsewhere to eat. A real shame as we were staying at the hotel and had hoped to have most of our meals here but it did make us explore a little further.

15/10/2025: Called here during the week and got a 5 Tenders meal with Gravy and a Kids Popcorn Chicken meal. It's fair to say they do good chicken and gravy here. Portion size was also very good, For me Hillbillies is the best chicken in Cork but this is up their, well worth a try if you like Fried Chicken and Gravy 👍

19/09/2025: Clean, prompt, good vibe, easy interaction. I'm a fusspot who always makes my own breakfast, and the lady was 100% there for that and everything came out perfectly.
Great place for a nice traditional breakfast, 100% happy with the experience.
05/09/2025: A true Irish pub, this one can say is 100% Irish. Irish food is served here, and of course, a full Irish breakfast. I can tell you, after a full Irish breakfast, you don't need food for the rest of the day, but it all depends on how much money you intend to spend. Birthday parties are held here; the pub is huge, so you can do whatever you want.

09/11/2025: Really expensive and loads of annoying teenagers inside.
17/09/2025: The girl serving behind the counter was unfriendly, as if she didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to serve us.
The milk was served in it’s original 2L jug and again just thrown there almost with words to the effect, if you want some milk here you go.
The toilets had just been cleaned but they never replaced the soap and the soap dispenser was completely empty.
All of this when the café was practically empty and the staff had not much to do.
Never going back there again.

11/09/2025: The room was large, the beds comfortable, but the ceiling is peeling, there is mold above the shower and several areas of the floor where we felt like we were going to fall through. The staff were very welcoming, they stored our luggage for the day. There is a bar on the ground floor but we were not bothered by the noise at all. The hotel is located directly opposite the train station, with the city bus and city tour bus stop right outside the door.

15/04/2025: Probably the best takeout food I’ve had in Cork. It tasted healthy and was just 10/10. Beats the competition I’ve had by miles.
11/02/2025: Got take away here a few times for collection, always quick and the quality of the food is always nice.
You have the usual take away staple items but also there are healthy options as well, incl . vegan and vegetarian items

21/09/2025: Very unwelcoming staff. Food was sad and miserable. My pork roast was completely dried out, the rest of the food wasn't much better.
27/08/2025: Ate lunch here before flying out of Cork airport. We both ordered burgers. I noticed how quickly they came out and how fast other tables got their food too. I worked in hotels myself for years and that is not necessarily a good sign. The burgers themselves were ok but they seemed somewhat ready made. We both had upset stomachs by the evening time. I do not recommend. The staff and service were excellent. I can’t give more than 1 star because of the food issue.
