16/11/2024: Food is grand but customer service is horrible, can’t even see if your food is done without one of the chefs giving out about “staring at him” and saying “I don’t know what you do in your country but we don’t stare at people” and getting aggressive. Unprofessional.

14/03/2025: This is my goto place after a long stroll around the city. It's pocket friendly, has clean and fresh ingredients, you can pick the items which makes it versatile. The nacho, burritos, cubes and all the toppings are extremely tasty. Try their jalapeño Verde sauce as its unique and flavourful. I would always go here and recommend everyone. Cheers.

19/02/2025: My stay was very pleasant with wonderful staff welcoming me with open arms when I arrived. I was provided with professional service and relevant information about the hotel amenities, including the different menus on offer that week when I checked-in. A special thank you to the receptionists Eva and Maria who made an extra effort to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I work in hospitality and study the industry in college so I understand the complexities of managing customer expectations, but I must say, the staff did a great job at accommodating me. My only criticism would be the overall cleanliness of the carpets in the corridors. I do however understand that there was a large group of young kids who must have been staying in the hotel for some competition, so the mess in the hallways may have only been a result of them. Overall, I recommend this hotel and can see myself booking another stay there again.

18/02/2025: It has everything a 4-star hotel can offer except for the service provided by some workers, it even seems like they are bosses. There is always a black sheep in the flock, but that is not what puts this hotel behind others, but rather its location, but nothing major changes. This hotel is good and recommended.

18/04/2025: Ordered a burger with no cheese got a burger with cheese even though the packet said no cheese

14/04/2025: Perfect, fast service, well-prepared burger, hot fries, the sauces are generous (in France they're cheapskates 😂), a little noisy but it was Sunday evening 😉

19/03/2025: Thought what was available was the carvery written-up on the walll, only to find out after we'd eaten and were leaving that there was a small/lighter lunch menu available - it seemed to be hidden away/not easily visible. Food was nice, but much too big a portion for us

11/03/2025: The last 3 times I've used the drive thru they have messed up my order. Today they decided not to include the 3 pies order and paid for. This place is becoming a joke

27/01/2025: Solía ser un gran bar una vez. no estoy seguro de lo que pasó, pero el ambiente parece haberse evaporado, el personal muy antipático mientras que el bar en sí está frío y pagando 7 € por una pinta de cerveza (a partir de enero de 2025 ) está tomando el p*ss un poco, sin mencionar el tiempo que tomó para tirar de dicha pinta

11/03/2025: I’ve been going to Hillbillies for more than 40 years. I have always thought it was best value for money and the food is delicious. It was our family favourite takeaway. Twice in the last few months we have got home to potions that were halved in size. The curry sauce halved and coleslaw halved in size. When we got home the half pot were not even full they were 3quarters full. The price is so expensive for the sauces and for the sizes they are. We got food tonight and paid over €30.00 for it. That’s no problem when we thought we knew what we were getting and to us it’s worth it. Not anymore! There was about 10 chips in a dinner box. The taco chips were half a box and it’s a smaller box now. Then we looked and there was not much meat either in the taco fries. It was so disappointing for a place we always loved to treat ourselves to. The quality is definitely not there now. We find it hard enough to get into the premises and it is normally worth making the trip through the disaster that is Mc Curtain street road works and no where to park. To come home to half potions was not something we were looking forward to. I was trying to ring to complain and got through to what sounded like a fax machine. So I had to write this instead. I was so annoyed. I was wondering do others find this as well. Update on this matter Hillbilly’s have improved since this review and now the sauces are back to the normal size and portions sizes are better. Still no parking and it is hard to get into the shop. A shop outside the city centre would help majority of people who aren’t able to get into the shop. Blackpool or Mayfield, Ballyvolane or Glanmire

02/02/2025: The best salad around is the ranch salad here , and there chicken is truly delicious, never disappointed with hillbillies, but the server in this outlet today wasn't the politest.

Theres one girl with a serious attitude problem , customer service appauling from her all rush , rush , rush stressed out of her head. Strange , id say shes a right treat at home , wont be going there anymore after the way i was spoken too , especially after choosing to spend 50 euro there . The way she spoke , how someone would employ a fool like that , Ill never know 🙄

18/10/2024: AVOID. Ahora venda por la porción. Básicamente más del doble del precio. Es una completa farsa. El comercio parece haberse ido, pedí rodajas para los niños y era el único cliente en una calle de viernes 7 pm desde que llegué al Mercado Negro hasta que me fui.
