09/11/2025: Ordered by Uber for a delivery and waited 2h to get it delivered. Ridiculous! Food arrived cold which makes pizza horrible. It doesn’t matter how was the food if it takes you so long to deliver it as it comes cold and soggy.

08/11/2025: We ordered through deliveroo . They definitely reduced the pizza sizes. A 13 inch large pizza is actually less than 11 inch for 18 euro. My 7 years finished it all by himself before i was even able to take a picture.

12/10/2025: Always served with a smile, fair enough the prices of sweet treats are expensive but majority of people are not going to get one every day. It’s only €2 for a tea (not a coffee drinker). But try the waffle it’s unreal.

09/10/2025: The baguette is no longer fresh and is as good as a ready bake baguette from Lidl. 2.8€ !!!Thats robbery.The pastries are also not fresh and are put in boxes each night to be reused. Too expensive for what you get…. Staff are very nice, that’s the only good thing…

07/09/2025: I’ve been to Golden Bites today, the new shop on Washington Street, with my young son. We were warmly welcomed, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and aesthetically nice. However, I do have some concerns. When placing my order, I made it very clear that my cappuccino should be made with oat milk (for health reasons I cannot consume dairy). Unfortunately, I received a cappuccino with regular milk. I didn’t complain at the time because I’m not the type of person who likes to create conflict at an establishment, but I mentioned twice at the counter that it should be with oat milk. Another point: I’m not sure if I was charged for two portions of grilled buttered bread since I received four slices, but I only ordered one portion, which I believe should be two slices. I also wasn’t given a receipt, so I couldn’t verify the charge. Once again, the environment is very pleasant, and the staff was kind and attentive. However, we have already experienced issues with delivery orders in the past — missing items, wrong orders, etc. I expected that visiting in person would be different, but unfortunately, the same kind of issues happened. This makes it a little difficult to want to return. I truly hope this is just something temporary due to the new location

31/10/2025: i bought garlic bread from here and to be fair they gave us a lot but my god was it a waste. it tastes like i was eating RAW garlic with a bit of bread it was the most vile garlic bread i've EVER eaten do NOT waste your money on this i can't even call it food this is a disgrace it's atrocious preposterous even my goodness if i could take back time id never buy this greasy disgrace i wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy a homeless man on the side of the road could do better my goodness. i am appalled. they're pizza tho that's a diffrent story. it was pretty good my friend likes it more but eh

01/09/2025: The bartender is a sight to behold! Effective and highly professional. We stopped by because it was on our way home and thought we'd have the "second to last" one. The atmosphere was masculine and, above all, older... But it was worth it.

08/08/2025: I adored O'Driscolls. Ben the barman was accommodating knowledgeable and welcoming. I saw him, several times remember anything order that the punter had forgotten themselves. I had great conversations with the customers, over several nights. Its such a great pub. I'd recommend it to anyone. Brilliant

13/09/2025: I came into this establishment after a long day working late, I did come into at 11:15pm in the hope of getting a pizza, they were so kind and offered me a seat and said no problem even though they were finishing up for the night, I can’t even begin to thank them for just being genuinely kind and understanding that I was tired and hungry after a long day, they even added fresh tomatoes and rocket to my pizza and it was yummy thank you so much guys you were amazing great end to a long day!!

19/09/2025: Chips were okay, warm but not the best, the chicken was horrible, and I genuinely cannot stress that enough it came cold sort of, and some of it was crispy but majority of the pieces were half soggy which is disgusting and I couldn’t eat it.

21/06/2025: Just ordered delivery, never had food in the restaurant but the delivery was so fast, food was so delicious, the portion was great for the price! Highly recommend! We enjoyed the Pad Thai a lot! Thank you!

31/10/2025: We went in for some food and were told when we ordered all sandwiches and wraps are already pre-made and we weren’t allowed to make any modifications to them. Upon hearing this information we expected food to be done quickly as toasted sandwiches and wraps don’t take long to make. We waited 40 minutes before our food was brought out to us while multiple tables that ordered after us were served. When the food arrived there was no red onions in the wrap and no sauce, it was meant to be Cajun chicken and there was no flavour at all, the outside was hot but cheese on the inside was not melted. The garlic bread might as well have been just bread and cheese as there wasn’t even the slightest hint of garlic. They also don’t have sweet chili sauce. Not once in the hour that we were there did anyone come up to check on us or offer us anything more. Also the pricing for a bottle of still ballygowan water was €3 the same price as a coke zero and for water that is expensive. Overall very disappointing and probably will not be returning the food wasn’t nice and the service was poor.
