17/08/2025: I normally get banana bread and it’s been so nice. However they didn’t have any today and I got a croissant. This croissant tasted stale and as though it’s been left out in the air for so long. I told the staffs who insisted they got it fresh every morning and offered no exchange or refund.
Had to bin it in the store as I could barely gulp it in or manage it.
I’ve been a customer so I hope this is taken as a constructive criticism.
For credibility purposes, not only am I a Fresh food manager but I’ve been a food safety auditor.
Thanks.

23/04/2025: Very well known pub, I have been a few times for a couple pints of Murphy’s and I was delighted myself, is a pub with his own loyal customers and every week with live music I always remember this pub here in cork and looks like is a pub to be here for many years to come I hope so.

04/06/2025: Visited the English market and wanted a sandwich, we chose the sandwich stall and we both would rate our sandwiches very highly. My partner had the spicy beef and I had the mozzarella and sun dried tomato. Sandwiches are pricey but worth it as portion size is massive and you can tell quality ingredients are used.

20/07/2025: I ordered the "kebab box" from this establishment and got a small box mostly filled with chips. I returned to the shop to tell them I didn't order chips and that chips were not in the description of the "kebab box" only to be told that of course chips are included in the kebab box. Doesn't seem logical to me, would avoid.
24/05/2025: The pepperoni pizza was of really good quality. As the pizza sauce had a nice, smoky flavour, which I liked. They weren't mean with the toppings, as there was plenty of cheese and pepperoni on my 10 inch pizza. The pizza was delivered on time and the two ladies delivering also were really kind, as they were smiling, which means that they have good service. I gave 0 starts for the atmosphere, as I got delivery and I haven't actually been to the restaurant, which will be unfair to rate it, so I just left it at 0 stars.

09/08/2025: Lots of space outside which is nice on sunny games or game days. Prices are a bit expensive though.
29/07/2025: Huge reastraunt/bar. Maybe the biggest in Cork. Huge outdoor dinning area with giant t.v. was here during the 2025 hurling championship and this place had an awesome atmosphere! Came back the next day and things do settle down to a quieter family friendly environment.

Some of the staff (owner in particular) are quite rude and condescending, they are a little unwilling to help especially if you're looking for a recommendation for a certain type of bread. They need to work on this more, hope our lovely tourists aren't met with such unfriendly service as it's very at odds with lots of three other lovely friendly sellers
