01/03/2025: Intentamos llamar para reservar una mesa 3 veces sin respuesta. Aparecimos como a las 6. 45 pm (familia de 4 ) pidió una mesa, le dijeron que no había mesa libre hasta las 8 pm. No había ni una persona comiendo en el restaurante, así que nos fuimos ya que nuestros niños de 5 y 6 años tenían hambre y no queríamos servir una mesa.
23/02/2025: 2 merguez muy mala y un trozo de carne que no pude identificar nadando en salsa para el Couscous Royal. 50 por un vaso si el té de menta (probablemente una bolsa de té con algunas hojas de menta para la decoración) € 10 por 4 pasteles diminutos en una caja de plástico. . . Rip - off !

10/03/2025: The young lady at the counter was absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend trying the Malaysian Chicken if you’ve never had it. If you’re craving Chinese definitely give this spot a try.

18/02/2025: Great place to print and have a coffee. Staff are very helpful. Colette in particular is very warm, friendly and has a great sense of humour 😄
05/02/2025: From 2005 to about 2010, it used to be a be a great gaming cafe and was opened 24/7 and the staff were brilliant in those days. I used to do all nighters playing counter strike now it's just a dull soulless internet cafe, it's has no charm anymore.

10/02/2025: Como si mi té fuerte pidiera una segunda bolsa de té. ¡Me lo agradecieron fácilmente y luego me cobraron 50 centavos por ello!
Ahora sé que todo tiene un factor de costo, pero una caja de 80 bolsitas de té de Barry cuesta alrededor de 4. 50 por lo que según ese cálculo me cobrarían 40 euros por una caja de ochenta.
No estoy contento y por ese cargo de 50 centavos nunca volveré a oscurecer su puerta.

10/02/2025: Very friendly service.John was very kind.We sat in for a meal and the food was very good.We had vegtable spring rolls,sweet and sour chicken (child menu)and beef in blackbean sauce.He offered us half and half option for rice and chips.Main course had plenty of beef and veg.

Do they not know how to say Hello, or Thank you down there?

04/12/2024: Pasó apresuradamente Tiramisu muchas veces, pero siempre sintió buen rollo. Hoy las estrellas se alinearon para el desayuno. Para empezar, el café era excelente y el personal muy cortés y servicial. Orden del mostrador y los precios son razonables. Un poco lento en servir los huevos florentinos, pero bien vale la pena esperar.
04/12/2024: Pleasantly surprised. Continental Europe in the heart of Cork. Hurriedly passed Tiramisu many times but always sensed good vibes. Today the stars aligned for breakfast. For starters, the coffee was excellent and the staff very courteous and helpful. Order from the counter and prices are reasonable. A bit slow on serving the Eggs Florentine but well worth the wait.

The Green Frog Café

13/03/2025: My experience in the Green Frog is normally really good - the drinks are tasty, the staff are nice, and the location just beside the university is great. However, this morning I went to get a coffee in the Green Frog, and witnessed an older member of staff shout at a younger barista, in front of customers. To speak to anyone like that is unacceptable, but to treat a colleague who is younger than you like that, and in front of customers too is completely unacceptable. I won't be coming back if staff are being treated in such a hostile way.
23/02/2025: My experience at the Green Frog Cafe was a mixed bag. The coffee was served promptly and was excellent. Unfortunately, our food order was completely overlooked. After a 30-minute wait, we had to remind the staff, and then received the wrong order. This was frustrating, but to their credit, the staff were apologetic, and when the correct food finally arrived, it was delicious. The quality of the food itself was very high, but the service needs significant improvement. I'd consider returning if the service became more reliable.

Ordered food that was grand the lady said roughly 10-15 mins minutes that was fine
20 mins later they goes will be another few mins as the chicken was still cooking
She said will be another 5 mins
About 10-15 minutes later it was ready
I waited 35 -40 mins for only a chicken bacon burger deal
Also there was very little people waiting for food not a queue
24/02/2025: The food is good and the staff are top class. Clean toilets too.

29/12/2024: Could be a great place cause the food is good but the stench coming from the bathrooms needs to be sorted. Staff must be so used to it they don't get it anymore. A good clean is needed. We were hungry with kids so stayed. Food was lovely.
