25/08/2026: Popped in for a bit of lunch. There was a good selection of sandwiches, wraps, and other stuff in breads available. There is also a selection of sweet treats as well. The restaurant is nicely decorated and comfortable. I got a chicken tika wrap and a caramel square, and my wife got a tuna sandwich. The price came to around €22 which considering the size of the items and tiny side salads on the plates, was steep. The food tasted ok, but I would say not worth the price. Overall, I can't say I would be back again.

22/08/2026: Great vegan roll. And lots of food choices.Roomy cool space great for a hot day. The coffee itself is disappointingly bland!

02/10/2026: I spent several evenings in this pub with my friends during our Erasmus in Cork. We never had anything to eat or drink, but we stayed for the music and the dancing. The music was always perfect, the place was small, and vaguely reminiscent of Italian nightclubs in the evenings because of how crowded it is when dancing, but you can get in for free with no obligation to buy anything. I'd really love to go back. Miss you, JJ Walsh's, one of the few pubs that even let us under 21s in. 🫰🏻😞

05/09/2026: 2 over cooked buns on burgers - i had worked out the bill would be about 65 but when my husband went to pay it was nearly 82 - when I looked at receipt it just says open food for everything- I think a portion of chips was a fiver - v over priced for what we got- will not be back - no one in restaurant at 1.45pm on a sat!!!!

05/09/2026: Food is just about average both mind and the wifes burger buns were hard side salad was roughly about a teaspoon of coleslaw and few bits of lettuce burger was small for a steak burger daughter's pizza the pepperoni was burnt plus the place looks very dated inside very expensive for what we got would have been better of going to dinos around the corner will definitely not be going back staff were friendly is the only positive tng about the place

26/10/2026: When it gets busy go to another McDonald’s as you could be waiting 25+ minutes for a meal if you are lucky. Nothing fast about this food.

03/10/2026: Had breakfast here this morning, excellent service & super menu with great choice. We had the Skillet, breakfast burrito & pancakes the food was gorgeous, massive servings. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.

14/10/2026: Veg and chicken salad was lovely thanks - tiny portion though for 20 e No garlic pizza dip available as the restaurant “ran out” - that was disappointing Service was very slow as other guests have pointed out Staff were very nice - I think they just need more staff to speed service up in the kitchen and on the floor The food is expensive but that would be OK if there was a quicker turnaround Thanks

13/10/2026: The girl at reception assumed we were delivery guys, even though we had neither a bike nor a rider’s jacket or delivery bag. The way she judged us without any reasonable basis felt bad.

22/10/2026: Another MacDonalds but we macs are loving it .recent refurbishment has made this macdonals the most uncomfortable fast food outlet i have ever sat in my life except for winthorp street in city centre far from loving it my bottom was numb.

15/10/2026: You get so many average takeaway fries 🫣 you had to wait so long for an order that everything was cold.
