21/11/2024: Ordered the bacon cheese burger and fries and a SF chicken burger and fries via deliveroo yesterday. My partner's SF chicken burger tasted good. Halfway through eating my own beef based bacon cheese burger I found the flavour a bit "funny" but didn't think much of it. Circa an hour later I felt extremely unwell. I could not sleep from the level of nausea and this morning still felt very poorly. Once I ate today, I immediately felt nauseous again and have thrown up twice. I fear there must have been some form of cross contamination, bad meat or a bacteria issue in their kitchen. I'm feeling utterly wretched and the only thing that my partner and I have have eaten differently the last few days was my beef burger versus their SF burger so it must be the burger that has caused this.

14/10/2024: American tourists in Ireland - this was definitely more “American” feel but just what we were looking for to watch the NFL games. Pulled pork nachos were amazing. Great atmosphere and would recommend!

15/09/2024: Smiling staff, nice warm chocolate fudge cake & cappuccino with acceptable prices. Not a luxury interior but it's a nice place in a small village.

12/12/2024: Overall shop is nice but compared with the old shop the magazine section is very disappointing...it's so small compared to the last place...the selection is limited ...eg. crochet magazines...

20/10/2024: Food was gorgeous. Ordered beef burger and it came with fries, dipping sauces and side salad. Burger was delicious, same with fries, probably one of the best burgers I had in Cork. Pickled side salad was ok but it was not my cup of tea, would swap it for something else. And their pickles - heaven! I love pickles and this one was perfect - crunchy and juicy. Staff is welcoming and friendly, and place has a nice cosy atmosphere. I found it a little bit expensive though - but can’t complain, food was delicious.

23/11/2024: Food was good but waitress stood over us basically rushing us through our food, wasn't closing as other people were coming in

08/11/2024: I have always come here but unfortunately today the waitress stopped me on the street after I had paid the bill. It was embarrassing and impolite. Because of it I don’t recommend this place and I am not willing to go back

28/11/2024: So fresh and delicious! We enjoyed the balsamic-tomato- mozzarella, and Greek feta sandwhich. Sparkling Irish blackcurrant cider is crisp and tasty. Lovely staff.

18/11/2024: I got a burger and chips on delivery and I have gotten it many times before (same order) and tonight it was shocking. No seasoning on the chips and cold. Same with the burger very bland and cold. Hoepfully you’ll do it right in future
