16/06/2025: We had a dinner reservation for 3 people and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food with little to no communication from the staff. Service was inattentive throughout and the waitress assigned to our table had an awful attitude and even mimicked us in a mocking way which was completely unprofessional. People who arrived after us were served before us. I think our food was forgotten about and sat out for a while as when they brought it out it was stone cold, soggy and no freshness whatsoever Toward the end of the meal, another staff member came to check in on us and was very kind which we appreciated but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing Definitely not the level of service or quality you’d expect when eating out !!

16/08/2025: 20 plus years ago I remember this place being thee place to get a takeaway. A few weeks ago I decided to try it out again . I parked outside Richies van first and then decided to go to Looneys where I had many a fine meal in my 20s (25 plus years ago ) . I have to honestly say it was the worst takeaway I have ever had in my 50 years on this earth . Rotten greasy wet battered fish . Burnt chips with bits of raw batter attached . Absolutely disgusting. And trust me I'm not picky when it comes to takeaway food . I will never darken the door of this place again as long as I live .

20/05/2025: Ordered various items from this bakery, customer service was top class, everything tasted great and was freshly made. Best gluten free bakery I have ever been to. Couldn’t ask for anymore !!!

08/09/2025: I really like this bar. I always go there on Friday nights to hear local bands play live. The atmosphere is very lively and cool.

02/09/2025: This place felt like a proper Irish bar! There was live Irish music, people dancing, plenty of stumbling drunks, and even a few drinks being knocked over haha. We fully enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The only downside was how busy it was to get served, but to be fair, the staff never stopped and we eventually got our drinks.

20/06/2025: Lovely spot to grab a coffee or bite to eat while out walking or shopping. Staff very nice too.

01/08/2025: The prices are very expensive for the quality or quantity of the food. Ordered the salt and pepper tofu which was delicious but the portion was so ridiculously small. We ordered the siu mai and it was horrible. It smelled bad when we opened the box, had a bad aftertaste and was definitely frozen food.

13/02/2025: Típicamente un lugar encantador y uno que tendría nombres de una de las mejores pizzas en corcho, pero gracias al gerente (Ciara) nunca pedirá desde aquí de nuevo. Tono grosero y terrible la comida se enfrió incluso que viven a poca distancia y no hay satisfacción solo un gerente que no conseguiría un trabajo para la peor empresa de servicios al cliente que existe

04/09/2025: Went for lunch today €13.90 for a drink and mains , omg the mains was actually a child’s portion, tiny bit of rice very small amount of chips and small bowl of curry , won’t be going again , a good way of losing customers.

31/08/2025: The food did not match the succulent pictures in the dog-eared and sticky menu. We were the only ones in the restaurant which should have made us turn on our heels. The prawns were barely discernible and the duck was dry (shredded) and the skin limp, not crispy and not as depicted in the menu (succulent duck leg with glistening crispy skin). The service was with a forced fletching smile eager to get us out before closing time at ten PM.

09/05/2025: Beautiful dinner experience, just a burger and a cheese plater but gosh it was good! Such a bliss to be waited by Ana. Very professional team. Good food. Highly recommend it!

27/07/2025: Genuine local pub in the happening Victorian Quarter / MacCurtain Street area. Jukebox and excellent Beamish Stout.

23/07/2025: The owner verbally abused my 65 year old mother and attempted to square up to me after I asked him a question. An awful pub, horrible staff and honestly the worst so called “establishment” on the street. Go up the road or over the river and you’ll find 20 pubs better than this kip.

10/07/2025: Very clean and tidy, efficient and polite staff, dividers in place and a good range of items to choose from.

10/05/2025: Great cafe, excellent staff. Reasonably price, good variety.
