The best restaurants in Cork

26/08/2026: We just had a coffee, but what a coffee! I tried the iced americano with a scoop of coconut lime sorbet — a special creation. I'm not usually a fan of lemon in ice cream, but this was really good. The sorbet was clearly homemade and fresh, the coffee very good too. I had the decaf version. At €5.50, totally worth it. Their drinks are really creative — iced white with pineapple and Tabasco with Cuban coffee, sweet tea with iced chai and pomegranate, Floral Green with iced matcha and elderflower. A menu you don't find everywhere. The barista was smiling, warm, and professional. Not many seats inside, better to sit down for this kind of drink. A few chairs outside. Blue front door, dark green tables, posters and photos on the walls. Very authentic and rustic — simple wooden benches, casual and friendly. It felt like mostly regulars and locals, not tourists. Groups might struggle to find space, especially at peak times or weekends, but it's worth taking away if that happens. Behind South Mall, next to Izz Café. Discreet but worth finding. A bit noisy, but we could still talk easily. Didn't try the pastries or use the toilets. I'll definitely come back. A great little café in Cork.

01/08/2026: I have never ever had a bad coffee from filter. Have been going here since they opened, and they are the most consistent for perfect coffee. Amazing job, Eoin & Alex :)

28/06/2026: We chose this hotel for our wedding reception. We couldn't have been happier than this. The staff, venue, food was amazing from planning to accommodate our wishes. The guests and we were extremely happy and satisfied. We spent a lovely afternoon and we'll cherish these memories forever.

14/06/2026: Avoid if you can. This is below "no frills". No A/C in all rooms. No hair dryer. No refrigerator. No coffee machine. A small room with a small TV. Bathroom is functional and well stocked.

29/06/2026: The service and the atmosphere was class ,food top notch call out to Michael the server should be in charge his chat to customers is brilliant.can I say one thing if staff come on duty please iron your uniform it looks a hell of a lot better.michael keep up the good work well done .

27/07/2026: There was a mishap with the air conditioning the day before we were due to come for a Hen Party karaoke sesh, which was unavoidable and just bad luck. But Marion couldn’t have done more for us. She went way way above and beyond for us sourcing AC units and fans and taking such good care of us while we were there. We had a ball. And will absolutely be back.

21/06/2026: Brilliant pub, proper bar with great music and sports in offer. Staff are excellent.

09/06/2026: Those lads worked hard after the ocean to city race with the Champions League Final on too. Two class barmen in a friendly environment. Everything as it should be. Looking forward to coming back.

05/09/2026: Lovely little shop and very convenient. Great staff, fantastic shop, plenty of parking. Bathrooms spotless too. Highly recommend.

10/09/2026: Very clean and tidy, efficient and polite staff, and a good range of items to choose from. Plenty of seating both inside and outside in the courtyard, but the nearby road can be noisy.

03/07/2026: Delicious, balanced flavours. Very fresh, wait time was prompt. Didn't hold back on portion size, good variety of food on their menu. Nice amount of meats in both curries, 5 star delicious. A must try, delighted we did.

18/08/2026: The deli is open early and it's always full stocked, the shop itself is bit expensive, the staff are lovely.

21/08/2026: The Market Burger is one of the best burgers to get, its very tasty, and the chips are just as good, well worth a visit. The staff are very pleasant even though they are always busy. Give it a try and check it out for yourself.

07/08/2026: Genuinely one of THE best veggie burgers I’ve ever had 😭 still dreaming about it weeks later! Literally the only thing keeping me from coming back is a 2.5 hour drive away. so please if you’re local don’t miss out on a great spot!

15/09/2026: Had a blast coming in today looking for some snacks and drinks on my road trip. I drive a Tesla (who wouldn’t), so I didn’t need to stop at a petrol station, but I made the right decision. The manager directed me to all the options they had and I was delighted dealing with herself and the staff today. I’ll be back for more snacks for sure, gotta keep in (spherical) shape!

13/07/2026: Just want to say how amazingly helpful and kind Maria was today when my dog got loose, she went above and beyond to help as she usually does in this shop, but unfortunately the manager Victoria and her horrible attitude and the way she spoke to not only Maria but also the gardai that were called (because of the dog), the gardai and someone from an animal rescue that came to help all said how badly Victoria’s attitude was and when I got there and went inside to thank Maria, she was visibly upset, not the first time I’ve heard bad things about that particular manager, but Applegreen are very lucky to still have Maria especially when so many staff have left since Victoria became manager. Thanks again Maria

16/03/2026: Absolutely obsessed with these mini-donuts at Marina Market! They are fried to order, so they arrive hot, fresh, and delicious. The staff is super kind and the atmosphere at the market is always 10/10. A must-visit if you have a sweet tooth in Cork! 🍩🔥
