13/10/2025: Best food very hygenic and very tasty food. I loved the friedrice and sweet sour chicken.

19/12/2025: The staff on arrival and departure were very pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. However despite requesting and being assured a quiet room we were only 2 doors away from the lift with very noisy guests chatting by the lift at 2.30. We could also hear the music in the lobby below. The location and carpark were very convenient.

09/12/2025: My wife and I booked one night. We were very pleased with the room and general amenity area of the hotel. All the public areas were very clean and impressive. The room was very nice, spacious and well laid out with everything you could look for in a room. We had dinner in the bar on the evening of our arrival. It was really excellent and good value and waiting staff were very attentive and pleasant. The breakfast in the morning was very good with plenty of everything. The one quibble I would have was that the cooked items were not very hot and had gone quiet cool by the time we had finished. Apart from that everything was lovely and if we have to overnight in Cork again we will definitely be booking the hotel.

24/09/2025: I've had a really tough day at work and went in to grab a Tim Tam. While everything was already put away for closing, the girl who served me got what I needed and gave the nicest smile! Thanks

28/06/2025: I have been travelling Ireland for a month now. Stopped there for a coffee. The staff is the less friendly I have encountered in the whole Ireland, the tables outside were dirty and still had the coffee from previous people. No wifi for guests (people sometimes go to coffee shops to work). Positive aspect is that the coffee was great and the little sweet I bought too.

27/12/2025: Nice thai larb bit pricey for the main the rice portion needs to be abit bigger & a drink other than water should be included other than that the flavours are nice 😀

24/12/2025: Food is okay, atmosphere is very nice. There are plenty of car park spaces outside. Both waiter and waitress are friendly and welcoming. Starter: Pork & crab roll (average) Main: Chicken Khao Soi (noodles) & Pork wonton with barbecue pork ball (soup) - recommended Dessert: Ube ice-cream + Namkhaeng Sai - recommended

11/11/2025: This place is a gem! A great spot for breakfast or lunch. Poached eggs on sourdough toast was scrumptious as was the chicken tarragon + stuffing sandwich also on sourdough. Very reasonable prices given the high quality ingredients. Really good coffee too. The interior is gorgeous: cozy wooden tables and benches strewn with cushions (you almost completely forget you're in the center of a business park with major construction going on nearby). It was bustling on a Monday morning.

30/11/2025: I had heard good things but I was really disappointed. Friends had the chicken and I had the beef birra. Food wasn’t hot. Everything lacked flavour, the tacos were neither soft nor hard.

29/10/2025: Second time here and it's just such a fun place to go! My friend's absolute go-to for when she has visitors and I completely get why! In the summer they open the front window and you get a nice breeze. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great.

09/12/2025: Amazing services for people on the go. A great deli both hot and cold, with plenty of variety. Massive variety of products always on offer too. The staff are always very helpful and always in great spirits. A great store all round

04/12/2025: Went there today to get fuel and tobacco. Why are you charging 29.95 for a packet of golden virginia, while everywhere else it costs 27.00?.... after the increase in the budget. Absolute disgrace, as if we are not being ripped off enough, you have to rip people off even more.

08/11/2025: Absolutely top class spot ! Lasagna is just delicious, fresh home made, with lovely garlic bread on the side! Hostess was absolutely amazing 10/10 service! Even stayed open late for us to finish desert ❤️

30/06/2025: Tapas night here was magical. Nikos the waiter really knows how to tend to the guests needs and the chef has nailed the mediterean cuisine with a hammer. Bravo The Plaza Ballincollig

28/09/2025: The Imperial Hotel is a classic Irish hotel with plenty of charm. My room was comfortable and fairly spacious, and I especially liked the bathroom interiors; they had a nice touch of elegance (wish I’d remembered to get a video of them!). 🛁 That said, my room was located in the basement, with a view directly into other rooms, which wasn’t the most inviting. At €220 per night (without breakfast), the value felt a little off for what was offered. The big plus here is the central location, it’s right in the heart of Cork, making it really easy to explore the city. Overall, a decent stay if location is your top priority, though there are a few trade-offs. Ratings: 🛏️ Room Comfort & Design: 3.5/5 🛎 Service & Ambience: 4/5 💸 Money’s Worth: 3/5
