03/06/2026: We had our sons christening cake made by the floury apron and everything about the service was 5 stars. From the ease of organising the order, the beautifully decorated and gorgeous tasting biscuit cake, and lovely follow up. Great customer service! I will definitly be ordering my future celebration cakes from the floury apron.

28/05/2026: I highly recommend The Floury Apron! I've ordered custom birthday cakes for my kids here for years, and they consistently go above and beyond. Not only is the cake detailing gorgeous, but the quality is top-notch. Caroline is a true professional who perfectly captures exactly what we are looking for every single time!

08/07/2026: Amazing staff and welcoming atmosphere. We went to celebrate my son’s birthday and the staff could not have done more for us. They were amazing and paid attention to our needs. Thank you all for your service. And of course the food we ordered was very delicious and tasty and it arrived to our table on time

02/07/2026: I cannot get over how small the portions have gotten. €13.50 for 4 boneless chicken thighs and there’s barely two bites in each one, they were tiny. Ridiculous stuff. Very disappointed and won’t be back for a while

09/07/2026: Firstly amazing coffee with amazing friendly staff but we already knew this. This is perhaps the only business I’ve seen with a proper accessible bathroom. The red cord not only isn’t hidden away or tied up out of reach, but goes directly to the floor with about a foot of extra cord to grab if needed. The facilities were spotless including all of the grab bars. The seating area inside and out was also gorgeous and clean. Also not really a big deal but I love that their ice coffee cups have a spot for a straw and an opening to sip out of

14/06/2026: Great little spot close to where we were staying. Coffee very good, pastries are large and good value. Staff prompt and friendly. We sat on the terrace out back. Owners need to look at the balustrade at the top of the stairs. It’s in a dangerous condition so wouldn’t support someone’s weight if they didn’t notice it and leant into it.

11/07/2026: I tried some of their food, I guess it was pretty alright. But when I went to the bathroom it was designed like a labyrinth made out of bricks..? I explored a little bit of it to see if there was a bathroom in here, but it just felt like it was infinite. But then after that I had some company with me because my physical embodiment of my own sins started chasing me and wanted me dead. Especially this blue circular smiley face that had no eyes and was counting down to something, i didn't knew what that was though. Help me, I can't get out of this labyrinth.

29/05/2026: We organised a 50th birthday party here. Emmet and Aoife were so helpful and accommodating, the food was absolutely delicious, the function room is a fantastic spacious venue, the bar staff were brilliant on the night I would have no problem in recommending the Mount Oval to anyone, such nice people to deal with, 👍

17/05/2026: Had to change from Guinness to Coors as it was undrinkable. The Coors that came was under filled and flat.

14/04/2026: The " Mahon Point Food Court " Is Very Unique But However The Atmosphere Is A Bit Crowded But Somehow The Atmosphere Is Great Not To Bad & There Isn’t Really That Much Large Crowds But The Service Is Also Helpful & Great The Staff Are Helpful & Very Easy To Communicate With The Food Is Not That Bad But It Is Great The Overall Service Of The " Mahon Point Foodcourt " Is Fine

08/03/2026: Typical food court, but the cleaning staff have to be complimented on doing a difficult job well. Also toilets are always spotless. However, very little (if anything) has been done there to properly segregate disposable food containers. For example- NO paper cups should be allowed into the general waste bins. The centre could lead the way in terms of recycling - but it hasn't tried anything like that yet

21/06/2026: Brilliant pub, proper bar with great music and sports in offer. Staff are excellent.

09/06/2026: Those lads worked hard after the ocean to city race with the Champions League Final on too. Two class barmen in a friendly environment. Everything as it should be. Looking forward to coming back.

08/06/2026: Unable to connect to the Wi-Fi. This needs to be fixed, as it's ruining the cafe experience. 🤬🤬🤬

09/06/2026: This is what you expect from an Irish bakery – this ridiculously huge loaf! Chain stores like Dunnes have mountains of these massive loaves, but the sight is even more impressive in the markets. You don't see them much in Japan. This kind of thing gets me more excited than fish or meat. It's a place where I just think to myself, "This is the world!" I don't know what it tasted like because I was already full from other things. I'll buy it next time! 🍞

08/07/2026: Great place where to have a great dinner with friends, the prices are fare and food is great. Totally recommend it, I’ll definitely come back to this place!
