09/03/2025: Top quality service. Free coffee refil was an unexpected treat! Don't get that in too many places. The food quality was incredible. The meat used is so flavoursome and you know it's the best quality. Spotless establishment. I'd the special breakfast but can not wait to go back with my children to try the dinners! Keep up the super work 👏

14/02/2025: Excellent food. I just had a soup and sandwich which was one of the tastiest lunches that I ever had. Its a small local cafe but big on taste and flavour.

12/03/2025: Had high hopes for this place on arrival the whole place was freezing cold as the back doors were constantly open possibly lack of ventilation in the place. Ordered drinks and those were good the local beer and the margarita. Got the chicken tacos and the birria with a side of tortilla chips The chicken tacos were bland and completely dry considering it was big chunks of meat. the beef birria were good but not amazing there was large lumps of chewy beef too. Not a good experience and very expensive for what we got and 8 euros for a handful of tortilla chips and a couple of small dips is extremely poor imo.

23/03/2025: Unfortunately this place has really gone downhill, used to be one of our favourite spots in the city for food. They’ve gone really scaldy with the milkshakes- only fill it 3 quarters of the way now (and they’ve changed the flavor of the vanilla milkshake?!?!) All the portion sizes are way smaller- the chips are tiny too. Between the table of 4 of us, there was a burger, breakfast and tenders and none of us really liked our meals. I got the breakfast and didn’t eat half of it- I got about 6 baked beans!😂😂 a mouse would be pissed if he only got 6 scaldy beans. The rashers were inedible, the eggs were just bad. The toast was barely toasted. Also, the waiter was just so not bothered whatsoever. None of the staff were nice to be honest, could be the bosses fault, who knows. Unfortunately won’t be back which is a pity, as it used to be great

08/03/2025: It’s not my first time visiting this restaurant and I can definitely say that it was better than it’s now. It feels like we are not really welcomed by staff, and every ten minutes we have been asked “did you finish your food?”, it’s a bit disappointing. Food is lovely though, they found an alternative for me as I don’t like spicy food. Also , check your bills before paying as we got the bill and checked it there was a mistake in 26€…. A bit disappointed by waiters english as well, I tried to order decaf latte, and I repeated it to him for 5 times, but he brought normal late and when I tried to tell him again he just called another staff member and she explained to me that they don’t have it, but if you don’t have it-you need to clarify it and not just serve different thing. Overall, I’m happy with the food I tried, but not the service I received ……

06/01/2025: Myself and my family dined in today and it was very disappointing the worst we had in there so far. The rice was stale and hard, the omelette wasn’t cooked, the beef tasted like blood and the chicken had all black viens inside it over all more than half the food was left there not eaten. For 74 euro you would think the food would be eatable. Definitely won’t be returning again.

19/03/2025: I ordered on Deliveroo and asked to make their Kway Teow extra spicy. They absolutely nailed it. I feel like a new person again. Thank you! This is wonderful!

08/03/2025: As someone who lived in Asia, this is the most reminiscent of true Asian flavours that you will find in Cork! The mee goreng and the crispy chilli beef are outstanding!

13/04/2025: We decided to try the bar for lunch today. The staff were wonderful and attentive which at least gave us some feeling of satisfaction but this place has grown so tired. It must be close to 20 years since it's had any work done to it. Even that would have been okay if the food was up to par but my word it was bad. Fish and frozen chips, I can't explain how tasteless it was. My wife had the open trio seafood sandwich, after sending back the fish we were too embarrassed to send hers back. Our daughter had the incredibly lack lustre frozen chicken goujons. As I said, staff were great but the overall product was horrendous.

08/03/2025: Met family for lunch recently in Bellinis Bar. . Food was only very average. Chicken korma was very poor... bland, flavourless and not a hint of korma.. The rice was a solid block and a chisel would be a better implement than a knife for cutting the block. I didn't eat much of it. The batter in the fish was too thick but fish and chips was good otherwise. Bellinis Bar needs to freshen up it's tables. The staff were the best part of the meal.. Very friendly and listened to my complaint and didn't charge for the Korma and did offer me an alternative meal which I didn't accept as there's were nearly finished theirs. Unlikely to return for lunch there.

06/04/2025: I got the chicken strip meal. With a curry sauce. Chips were very greasy. But the biggest shock was the size of the curry pot. 2.20 for the smallest pot I have even seen enough for about 7/8!chips. Felt ripped off always was a fan of Dino’s but I think this is my last visit. Uploading a picture of the curry pot.

27/03/2025: The new Souths,as I knew it, then,decades ago, is amazing! I happened upon a jazz session on a Sunday about 3 weeks ago around 5 pm. The revamp is incredible. They have reintroduced all the original fixtures and leant into the era of the Imperials grand dame reign. Visit!

26/03/2025: Lovely hotel in Cork. The building is a bit older, but they have done a nice job making it nice. We received a much appreciated upgrade and were quite comfortable in the room. The staff were helpful, but the hotel seemed undermanned. It took an hour to receive towels from housekeeping. I finally went down to the front desk after calling twice. The early check in policy is kind of a joke. I have never stayed at a hotel where the room was ready when I arrived, but you had to pay €40 if you wanted to use it. I understand if I wanted a guaranteed early check in, but if the room is ready at 1pm, let me in! Overall, not a bad spot for a couple of nights.

10/10/2024: Great traditional session when we were there. We got a table with a local and outlasted him to close it down! Find out when they have a session night and go!

30/09/2024: A local bar in Kinsale with Irish music. Did not eat there but went for the music and fun with our fellow travelers. It was a good evening.

12/12/2024: Such a lovely slice shop, very fairly priced for the size of the slices and delicious.

09/10/2024: Great place to rest and eat a piece of pizza.
