The best restaurants in Cork

27/12/2025: I ordered delivery and this place is surely just trading on reputation, because the food was some of the poorest I have seen in years. The prawn toast quite literally had zero prawn, it was just bread with sesame seeds on top. The same for the wontons, which had so little prawn in them that someone who is allergic to prawn could probably have eaten them. The spice bag was almost exclusively chips, with a few small pieces of chicken. Far too much seasoning on it and the chips were overcooked. I was told this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Cork, which I hope is not true. Extremely poor.

21/12/2025: We loved the service! We walked in on Sunday at 6 p.m. and they quickly found a table for four. The staff checked on us often and refreshed our plates and cutlery between courses. The sweet-and-sour chicken was perfect. Cozy, cute atmosphere, we loved it!

13/10/2025: Stopped by The Glass House at the Montenotte Hotel in Cork for drinks, and it’s exactly the kind of spot you want on a sunny afternoon. The view is incredible especially if you sit outside, you can see almost the entire city, which makes for the perfect backdrop. 🌞🍹 I went with a cocktail and a small plate, and both were delightful well-made, refreshing, and perfect for a leisurely sip while taking in the view. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great spot for drinks with a view. Nothing over the top just good drinks, stunning scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere. 29/10/2025: Very icy staff constantly bickering at each other. Saw rats around back of shop with open door!!! If you have any self respect, avoid this over priced deli counter. There's a spar down the road that does a nicer munch for a quarter of the price

03/01/2026: We were visiting Cork and went in for a few drinks. Everything was fine until, before we had finished our drinks, we were asked to give the table because it was for customers. Rude and disappointing experience, and a sad first impression of the city.

29/10/2025: Multiple staff members told us we couldn't stay at a table if all we had was water, despite a few of us having pints. Nice evening up until then. Won't bother coming back

10/08/2025: Clean, cosy place. Staff are very friendly. Got pizzas today they were amazing! 10/10!

06/08/2025: Always incredible pizza and service. Lovely staff and cosy atmosphere. The vegan cheese is delicious too! Potatoes are ok but I’d love if they added chips to the menu. The pizza is so delicious we don’t mind though .

26/09/2025: Stopped by this coffee shop this morning for a cortado and something to go — and wow! The cortado was absolute perfection, and the almond croissant was just as impressive. To top it off, they were playing Radiohead, which gave the place such a great vibe. Highly recommend if you’re looking for fantastic coffee and fresh-baked goods!

25/11/2025: To be fair genuine Italian bakery and this part is excellent. The sandwiches are very good. Hot food offering very oily and not my kind of food overall very good

04/08/2025: Drove a long way to find them closed, rang before I left and their voice mail stated they where open 7days a week < they are not, they close on bank holiday Mondays!!!
