07/02/2026: One of the finest establishments in Cork. Mary is a pure tonic and the pints are cream. Drop in for a cosy one in winter or sit out the front in summer and watch the world go by in a proper old talking-shop.

20/10/2025: I bought a baguette with hot chicken this morning and the chicken was like a shoe sole, it was probably three days old and the baguette is also dry, disgusting! Considering the class of the store and the prices, I thought the food was of a high standard and fresh, big mistake, I will definitely not go back there.

13/10/2025: Stopped by The Glass House at the Montenotte Hotel in Cork for drinks, and it’s exactly the kind of spot you want on a sunny afternoon. The view is incredible especially if you sit outside, you can see almost the entire city, which makes for the perfect backdrop. 🌞🍹 I went with a cocktail and a small plate, and both were delightful well-made, refreshing, and perfect for a leisurely sip while taking in the view. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great spot for drinks with a view. Nothing over the top just good drinks, stunning scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere. 30/10/2025: Update: I made payment for soaps and my money was refunded to me. No reason was given, no response to my message. It may be because of my last review but this experience was worse than the last time. I made payment of the 3rd of October, 2025. The customer care service and response needs to be worked on. More information about delivery(delivery company) used too needs to be given to the client or updated on your website/whatsapp welcome message. I had a terrible experience of being ignored without any update from the person I was chatting with. When I complained the message I got was such a terrible message, where the person responded like she was doing me a favour. You really need to do better. About the product I ordered, there is no doubt about the authenticity of the product I got it. It was exactly what I wanted. It was original, especially since a lot of fakes are in circulation and the price was the best price I saw anywhere. I hope in future I can get more of the product I got and be able to edit/update this review to more favourable experience.

03/04/2026: Had a fantastic experience at Kanok Thai! The food was absolutely excellent—full of flavour and clearly made with care. The portion sizes were very generous, which made it even better value for money. What really stood out was the staff: incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Even though they were about to close in 15 minutes, they still went out of their way to take our order and make sure we were looked after. Truly great service and a place I’d happily recommend! Must try foods: halo halo,turon and crispy pork menu!

23/07/2025: I got Lunch Sandwich Special here yesterday for a small party in my house Sndwiches, wraps & rolls...different variety of each...all very fresh tasty...and all enjoyed by my guests!!!Most asked where I got them and had no problem passing on details... Would highly recommend

09/07/2025: Staff are always lovely, food and coffee are great and very reasonably priced in comparison to other establishments in the Blackrock area. Really good selection of sandwiches, almost too good though, hard to make up your mind 🤣

24/03/2026: A wonderful, cozy cafe. It's nice to have a place in Cork where you can get dessert and coffee after 6 p.m., since everything is closed and there's no opportunity to chat with friends. The coffee was excellent. The atmosphere and staff are wonderful

15/04/2026: Our room had no outside facing windows. It had a window that looked into the lobby. We were just stopping over for the night and it was mid week so we didn’t care but I imagine it could be an issue if the lobby is noisy at night.

15/04/2026: Our accomodations were clean and comfortable. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Cookies are terrific.

18/03/2026: Lovely little cafe with very nice staff. Lots of tasty treats including many vegan options. Always open and great prices what more could you want.
