18/06/2025: Lovely bar. Atmosphere is great. Got very very busy after 10pm so if your not a big fan of crowds that's a heads up for you. Cocktails were divine plus they had a really good offer on them before 10pm

The Max bite einsskeene

26/09/2025: We were passing through when we came across The Max Bite. At first we were skeptical, but the owner made us a phenomenal kebab. Honestly, it's in my top 3 kebabs I've ever had. It's a shame we won't be able to come back for a second visit anytime soon;)

11/08/2025: Has to be a solid 5 star. It’s reasonably cheap but good quality and reliable. There are three outlets in central locations in the city. Always tasty and quick. Recommended for a quick snack at lunchtime or after a few drinks in the evening.

11/07/2025: Quick and friendly service. We love coming here for a slice or two after a being out in the pub. Had the margherita and veg slices and they were great.

06/11/2025: Ordered food from here through deliveroo. The wrong food was delivered. When we contacted the restaurant they told us they would not replace the food, contact deliveroo, or do anything at all to help.

30/10/2025: A truly comfortable spot in this city with its Californian diner vibe. The food is decent and the portions are generous. The atmosphere and service are consistent with the setting and very comfortable. I highly recommend it if you're lacking inspiration; it's a solid, reliable option that won't let you down! Special mention for the Tuesday and Wednesday menu at €10 with a milkshake, fries, and a burger! It's a winner!

05/10/2025: From a local bank to a local café! This friendly spot offers good wholesome food, scones & coffee off the beaten track. Good stop off option if transiting via Cork northside. Can be busy at peak times.

03/10/2025: Today I went to Velo Café, totally exhausted and struggling with the weather. I had a big buggy and wanted to sit outside. But the lovely lady invited me to take a seat. I just got green tea, nothing else, but the treated us like a VIP client. I was able to feed the toddler and just got a break from my day. I'll be coming back here because the staff is absolutely lovely. Reny&Jude
