18/03/2025: I had high hopes for this place, but after experiencing what happens when the doors close, I can’t recommend it. It’s disappointing to see a lack of professionalism and questionable activities after hours. Not sure if management is fully aware, but if they are, it says a lot. I’d think twice before coming back.

23/03/2025: Very impressed with the food here. Took 4 kids in on a Saturday at 5pm. We eat in, and we're impressed with the extra like, fortune cookies and icecream. The person who took our order gave us a couple of extra juices.

03/04/2025: My previous experience here earned a solid 5 stars for a perfectly made coffee. So I came "hoping" to give a more positive 5 star review. Unfortunately, this visit fell short. I requested a half-full cup for a stronger brew, but received a full cup instead. When I pointed this out, the barista simply poured half out, resulting in a diluted and disappointing drink. He seemed busy so perhaps it was just because of that. I'll give it another try, hoping my first experience wasn't a fluke.
26/03/2025: Delicious black coffee, they had two styles to choose from at the time. Great treats, fabulous owner and staff, going back again today! A must for Cork coffee lovers.

10/04/2025: Don't go to KC's for the chips, they're average and far better options for chips in other chippers, that said the rest of the offerings on the menu are fantastic in both quality and flavour. Don't be daunted by the queue, it moves quickly and the ordering system is simple.
30/03/2025: I had a burger with cold, stale bread and equally cold meat — it was honestly awful. After waiting for so long, I expected at least something decent, but it was a complete disappointment. Totally not worth the wait. One of the most underwhelming meals I’ve had in a long time.

19/03/2025: We spent a lovely evening at Salt, every time we return there is always a different menu, prepared with fresh, local and quality ingredients. There were six of us and among us a vegan, who had no difficulty in being served with tasty recipes, the staff both on the floor and in the kitchen are always kind and helpful.
In a few days we will return for another dinner with friends and I am sure that we will spend a relaxing evening with good food in a friendly atmosphere.
08/03/2025: I was surprised by the menu... Plenty of choices with different ingredients for everyone... Excellent... The staff was extremely helpful with knowledge of the menu and attentive of every single detail, even in a very busy environment... Highly recommended...

Also had a lovely salad bowl pre made for only 550..
* why I took stars away ✨️ so I asked two staff if there was any seating upstairs ...to which they replied 🤔 they didn't know...
So my son went up to find loads? Odd

11/02/2025: This *used* to be a nice place, with good coffee and tasty food, although a bit on the expensive side.
Now it's only expensive. I don't know what's going on, but the coffee is not what it used to be, the food is just ok. Feels like they are living from the reputation they gained before.
30/01/2025: I brought my toddler here for cake the other day. Such a cute café. She loved her gingerbread man and they even had vegan options for me. The staff were really lovely and the place was nice and clean.

14/10/2024: Very welcoming bar cosy and traditional. Great atmosphere love the place, drink good and reasonable priced. Bus stop outside the door so no worry's about transport. Highly recommend.
