The best restaurants in Cork

01/06/2026: A bit dated, but we were only there to sleep. The staff were always incredibly friendly, but the food in the restaurant was very mysterious, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and helpless for many people. Breakfast had everything you could need. Would gladly stay again.

31/05/2026: I cannot speak more highly of Vijay. He was so obliging with caring for our athletes staying in the the hotel. Supplied us with ice with no issue. We arrived back late & we were never felt unwelcome he was a very good host. He was managing the bar on his own & we were never made to feel nuisance.

28/10/2025: Brilliant pub, proper bar with great music and sports in offer. Staff are excellent.

02/06/2026: Great cheese and meat board super tasty. Great seating and service. The bartender with green tips on her hair was super nice. The kitchen staff were also lovely.

31/05/2026: I really like Tom Barry’s, the pizza is great, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. However, I have to admit that the music is often much too loud. It makes it difficult to have a conversation with friends or even hear what the person next to you is saying. For a relatively small venue without a dance floor, the volume feels unnecessarily high. I believe the music would work much better as background ambience rather than dominating the space. I hope the management will consider reviewing this, as it could significantly improve the experience for customers who come to enjoy the food, drinks, and company of their friends. Overall, it’s a lovely place, and this small change would make it even better.

25/10/2025: Legitimately the best Mochas I have ever had. To the point where I only buy my beans from them and asked them what chocolate they used so I could purchase my own for home.

09/05/2026: Enjoyable evening spent hear. First time at this place and watching the racing. Small fun bets and bit of crack. There is a restaurant and bar in-house.

04/12/2025: Very tasty food from a menu with dishes uncommon elsewhere. I have been here now several times and the food has always been tasty, the staff friendly and helpful. Parking can be tricky, but a location worth visiting.

12/06/2026: I always have ordered Pesto base pizza. I have been loyal to ordering it for over three years now. Today when I picked my phone to order the pizza. I see you have taken out the Pesto base. I've always admired the taste of pesto and fire pizza. There is a huge difference in the taste. Except sun dried tomatoes. All other toppings have been lowered in quality. Olives tasted pretty bad and parmesan base feels like vomit. Extremely disappointed you guys. Bring back pesto.

03/05/2026: Got the lunchtime menu, ordered the garlic mushrooms, and the smash burger. I was disappointed- the breading of the mushrooms tasted like they were cooked in bad oil, and the burger, although tasty, was more like a slider rather than a smash patty, also wedges with burger was like warm
