The best restaurants in Cork

08/08/2026: We had a great stay in Talbot hotel. The room is spacious and very comfortable and had a great shower. Specially the hotel has non feather rooms and an air conditioner in the room’s. If the price is right we will definitely come back to stay again.

29/06/2026: Great experience at the Talbot. My wife and I stayed there for a gig at Virgin Media park. It wasn't quite a close as I thought but the hotel was really nice and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more responsive.

07/08/2026: Food is well priced and excellent. Bonus if you eat or drink outside, you get the brilliant music from the fountain pub which is well worth a visit.

06/08/2026: We saw this bar while we were shopping in Cork & I'm very glas we did. The lady who seated us was very helpful. The food was lovely. I had ciabatta chicken which was lovely. Although highly recommended

25/07/2026: It was our first stop in Cork. Cheap and a great atmosphere.

07/07/2026: The service was wonderful, so much so that we went back. The first time we went in the late afternoon and enjoyed live Irish folk music. The second time was around 1 p.m., and we enjoyed a much more relaxed atmosphere with The Pogues playing in the background and some excellent local stouts, Beamish and Murphy's. If I return to this city, I will definitely go back.

31/07/2026: If you are a wheelchair user or have any sensory disability like vision loss you can forget this place. It doesn't matter how good the food is if it's not inclusive. Cork needs better accessibility to businesses for disabled people.

12/04/2026: Absolutely blown away by the cake Karolina made for my wife's 40th. She managed to pull this together at short notice, and the quality is outstanding—it looks like a work of art. Fantastic service and a talented baker. Will definitely be ordering again!

08/08/2026: Great pub! Everyone was so nice.

26/07/2026: I have heard it all now! I love this pub and its location. I regularly stop on walks through the city for a pint or two. I normally sit outside with my dog to enjoy the good weather. This evening it wss a bit chilly so I went inside to be informed that the pub was not "licensed" to have dogs inside. What a load of nonsense. Lucllkily there are other pubs who are genuinely dog friendly in Cork city.

24/07/2026: I loved everything about this little sushi shop except for the excessive mayonnaise drizzle on my rainbow roll. The rainbow rolle looked absolutely beautiful. And when I scraped the mayonnaise off it was very tasty. But if you just eat it with the mayonnaise all you taste is a mayonnaise. I would go back and I would order a rainbow roll again but I would ask them to either skip the mayonnaise sauce or put it on the side of the plate. I also had the matcha and a cookie and I was very happy with my meal overall.

20/07/2026: The atmosphere is so cozy and lovely, the drinks are priced reasonably and the sushi is beyond impeccable! I haven't tasted any sushi like it. The litle barista asian boy at the counter makes you feel so welcome.

26/07/2026: Very nice atmosphere, with a friendly and quick staff. And amazing food quality. All at one place that you need for a perfect outing, doesn’t matter if it is lunch or dinner. Definitely give it a shot, you will never regret it.

13/09/2026: They served my dinner, never received any cutlery.The time someone came by and I asked for cutlery my dinner was luke warm.Very disappointed, never asked was my dinner ok, felt like only a number there.Would I go back, definitely not.

12/09/2026: We needed a change of pace from Irish food, and this place delivered! There are very few tables as most people do takeout, but we found a table and ordered beef pho (medium) and kimchi ramen with chicken (spicy). Both were delicious! The kimchi broth was very unique and there were lots of noodles and veggies. The pho had a lot of beef and veggies as well. They don’t hold back on the spicy, so make sure you want that. I think they could have a restaurant five times bigger and it would still fill up. I would love to go back and try their other rice and noodle dishes.

10/09/2026: No MSG so good normal authentic Malaysian food.Great pit stop on the way home from the gym as its very healthy.I would highly recommend

13/07/2026: There are many great sandwich options! The service is super fast and polite. There are a few (very few) places to sit at the counter and eat there if you want. I recommend it!

31/08/2026: I'm very satisfied because my partner and I went for lunch and I ordered salmon without specifying that I'm lactose intolerant. When the dish arrived, I immediately realized my mistake because it was a cream sauce and I couldn't eat it. I explained this to the waitress, and she promptly offered me another salmon dish and asked how I wanted it prepared and what side dish I'd like. The new dish they served was delicious, perfectly cooked with vegetables and fries; in short, I loved it. The manager came to ask if everything was alright. Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and all the attention we received. We'll be back soon.

23/08/2026: Nice place, with good live music. Had the Cesar salad it was tasty and huge, for dessert we shared a brownie and a cheese cake, the brownie was my favorite.

21/08/2026: Really busy place but with credit to the staff we were seated straight away The food was served quickly, I had the chicken burger and it was really nice i would definitely eat here again

20/05/2026: Cheap stout, great atmosphere. A real locals spot. Recommended for a quiet pint and to get away from the busy soulless places in the city.
