29/09/2026: A typical, well-preserved restaurant with classic but very pleasant cuisine, excellent fish and chips. The service was also very nice; a good stop right in the center.

15/10/2026: A Proper old man pub. No phones allowed. Forced to talk to each other. Other places should enforce this too

09/10/2026: Simply the best bar in town. It's tiny, but the No Phones rule makes that you can start a conversation with anyone. There's a great atmosphere. Bar staff are very friendly. I sadly have to leave Ireland, but when I return, I will pull up a barstool, get a beer that was recommended by the bartender, and enjoy the evening. Miss it already.

30/07/2026: We had the best beamish the best Guinness the best Murphy's we ever had and I've had loads about all over the place , a top top top and the staff are top notch

05/11/2026: We went for Sunday brunch and really liked the café itself. It has a lovely atmosphere, the service was good, and it’s a nice spot to catch up with friends. Unfortunately, the pancakes were a big disappointment. They honestly tasted like they came straight out of a supermarket packet rather than being freshly made. They were bland, not fresh at all, and just didn’t taste good. For €15, I expected something much better. Definitely not worth the price, which was a shame because everything else was lovely.

03/08/2026: Still hasn't changed since the 80s, hopefully it never will. Edit, its now 2026 and I called in for a 2 pints , just remember that I first visited this pub in 1985, as I was able too. It has been the centre of my writing my nostalgic visits, even during during my cancer fight. And I was chatting to the lady serving me, then this bearded langer, who is a staff member decided to give his tuppence aggressively and ignorantly and hes 42.....when I asked why the answer was " I added it up" ..... Ill always be grateful its there, but I was one of 5 and a bearded langer thinking he was intelligent. Im from Cork City, alas Ill never go again

24/07/2026: Wow! What a pub! Peter and his lovely colleague made me and my daughter feel so welcome. Lots of fun banter and great pints of Murphys! Don’t miss this gem!

05/10/2026: Got the Reuben sandwich, it was amazing. So fresh and tasty. We didn’t realise but we got there 40 minutes before they actually opened, they still served us and made us coffees. Highly recommend!!

13/07/2026: There are many great sandwich options! The service is super fast and polite. There are a few (very few) places to sit at the counter and eat there if you want. I recommend it!

13/06/2026: Had breakfast here this morning. Delicious. Very reasonable prices and a great selection. Service was very welcoming and friendly. The irony of me visiting this morning is that it was my first time here and have discovered in the meantime it is closing tomorrow. Very disappointed to hear this as this was a place I'd definitely have gone back to again.

20/09/2026: Great café, clothing store and supermarket. A nice variety of items in every department. Shop floors were very neatly presented with staff on hand to help. Very accessible from the city centre with plenty of parking in the multistorey car park. Definitely recommend.

27/08/2026: Great local pub, sports on TV, music and karaoke sometimes. Decent outdoor seating area, order food from Barties chipper across the square and come back and dine with your pint in the outdoor area

26/09/2026: We had a fantastic experience at Airtastic Cork on our 1st Year school tour. The staff were incredibly accommodating, well organised and genuinely cared about making sure every student was included and supported throughout the day. Sam in particular was absolutely excellent. She made the whole day feel so calm and organised, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed. She could not have done more to help us and was fantastic with the students. We had such a positive experience and will definitely be making this an annual 1st Year trip. A huge thank you to all the staff, and especially Sam, for making the day such a success! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

30/10/2026: This was a great place to eat. The food was amazing and the service was great. It was quite ironic because I was in France three hours ago. I highly recommend.
