12/11/2025: It was such a pleasure to sit at Bedrock Café on a rainy day with a hot cappuccino and a little cookie — it truly lifted my spirits. The atmosphere is so cozy and peaceful; the tables are nicely spaced so you can just relax and enjoy the moment. There’s a lovely rustic charm to the place — the kind that warms your soul and makes you want to stay a little longer. A perfect spot for travelers or anyone who needs a quiet, comforting break. 05/11/2025: Ordered a coffee and a sausage roll, but after waiting 25 minutes, I still hadn't gotten the sausage roll. I then had to join the very slow moving queue to reorder the item which I had already paid for. When I finally reached the top of the queue, I was met with attitude from the person behind the counter, and was offered no apology. I then had a lukewarm microwaved sausage roll and a cold coffee for which I paid over €8.

05/11/2025: Excellent coffee with beans from all over the world, from Ethiopia to Colombia. If you're looking for a great speciality coffee, this is the place for you. If you want to have a coffee, read a good book or write, this is also a great place. A coffee shop for everyone in Cork.

08/10/2025: Small, quaint shop with excellent food and friendly staff! I had the Nutella banana pancakes and my husband Breakfast nap sandwich. Both were delicious!! We also had the raspberry almond cake. Tea and coffee were great. Reasonably priced and food was super fresh! A must see!

05/09/2025: We recently ordered a sandwich platter for 15 people from the Floury Apron. They were absolutely top quality and we had a great mix of fillings in ciabatta , foccacia, wraps and slice pan. Caroline was very attentive via email and followed up afterwards to make sure we were happy with our order. Food, service and value were all 10/10. Would highly recommended.

03/10/2025: A gem of a spot in Blackpool. Doorstep sandwiches have generous portions, not to mention all the delicious cakes and breads they make in-house. Staff have always been friendly and professional. I always make time to call to Brackens when in the area.

05/12/2025: Went in with family for a birthday celebration. Food was fantastic and the birthday boy got a cake and candle - lovely touch!

17/01/2026: Must have came at a bad time for the kitchen. The Pil Pil Prawns with Chorizo Ham starter was a bit over cooked. The Chorizo ham was over cooked and tasted a bit charred. The Lemon Soul Gougons were lovely, but my Curry was not the best i got there. Desert, lemon tart and cheesecale was great. I love this place for years but this visit was disappointing. As usual, it's fairly full, so expect to be close to others.

30/04/2025: Such a wonderful Café, the staff is lovely and the food is too. With all the trees and flowers it's just beautiful to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine with a coffee.

07/09/2025: €8.95 for a coffee and a scone. Way too expensive. Coffee was nice scone was ok. Got a pastiche de nata also for nearly 4 quid... Really poor left it behind. Staff were really nice.

16/01/2026: Delicious food, v friendly staff, cosy spot. Stopped in here last Saturday evening and had the best food. Super tasty vegan tofu satay and vegetable spring rolls. The caramel slice is super tasty too. They also serve Palestine cola which I absolutely was delighted to see and ordered. Will definitely be back to try some more of the dishes 😋

06/12/2025: Tried the crispy chilli beef. Very tasty and crispy as the name suggested. I am sure the other menus are great as well. Friendly staff, they even gave us two bottle iced teas on the house. They even sell separate paste such as sambal and rendang paste. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good Malaysian food around cork. They have another branch in Kinsale. Halal meat and vegan alternatives are offered. Their food are still good even after 4 years since I last had them. Highly recommend the crispy chilli beef. The staff were very friendly
