02/09/2025: We went for a weekly game night and had a brilliant time, plus the best burgers and chips. The gravy dip for the chips makes the entire dish.

02/09/2025: Really great food and nice cocktails. They were very busy so the service was a little bit slow, but we will still be back. Nachos are outstanding!

13/05/2025: So only for 1 or 2 waitresses that get distracted in conversation. I once waited 20 minutes for 2 take away coffees and then was giving then in a ceramic mug! After asking twice I was in a hurry so very inconvenient for me. The 2 waitresses were busy chatting behind the counter on a busy time, so disappointed at this. I never went for a take awua coffee again. But go for breakfast from time to time.This place is amazing 👏 food is top 😋 the new waitress Alison is amazing great service and great at her job very efficient.

22/07/2025: One of the best delis I've ever visited here in Ireland! The space is super bright, spacious, well-organized, and full of small details that make all the difference—perfect for relaxing or working. The chef is incredible: super attentive, and you can tell she loves what she does. Her flour-covered apron is almost a testament to her dedication to the kitchen. The food is delicious, with great vegetarian options. If I could eat here every day, I'd easily become a vegetarian! The salads are incredible, super fresh and full of flavor—and the dressings? They're on a whole other level! They enhance everything with creativity and balance. The sandwiches are varied and delicious, and the pastries... besides being beautiful, are made locally and have an unforgettable flavor. I highly recommend them! 🍴✨

09/07/2025: I have been trying for years to find a bakery in Cork that could prepare a southern-style caramel cake, a flavour of cake my wife loves because it reminds her of her childhood in the US. Most bakeries I contacted turned me down immediately because it would mean trying an unfamiliar recipe. At The Floury Apron, they not only took on my custom order, but stayed in contact with me for the couple weeks leading up to my wife's birthday while they tried out the first-time recipe and then asking what finishing touches I wanted in terms of decoration. The cake was exactly what we wanted, gorgeously decorated and tasted amazing! We were just blown away by the personal effort made by The Floury Apron to make this happen for us. Will 100% be coming back to them for any future cake orders!

17/06/2025: I was here for lunch with friends for the first time at the weekend. It was highly recommended and I can see why.Beautiful restaurant/cafe Gorgeous decor and no reservation required .The staff are fantastic so attentive and friendly. Brilliant choice of food, very reasonable prices which came quickly and was hot and delicious. All desserts are home made and ours were gorgeous!I They're open very early from morning until 4 o clock so breakfast,lunch,brunch all available .

03/07/2025: Beautiful restaurant and welcoming staff. The food was delicious and served quickly. The potato and leek soup was amazing, it came with homemade Guinness soda bread which was unreal. The salmon was cooked beautifully and the ratatouille and potato wedges were flavorful. The steak sandwich plate was loaded with chips and a refreshing salad/coleslaw combo. The only downside was they were playing dance/club music which didn’t quite fit with the atmosphere and was quite loud. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch if you wouldn’t mind the music!

22/06/2025: We hosted a bachelorette party at this restaurant and it couldn’t have gone better! The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect — the food was absolutely amazing. The service was warm and professional. Huge thanks to the whole team (and a special shoutout to the person who made that incredible cake!). All the guests had a fantastic time. Whether you’re planning a special event or just looking for a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

15/05/2025: Went with friends on a Thursday night. Food very good and staff were very pleasant. However, there was a quiz on there and noise was so loud we had to leave. If planning on going, please check if there is a quiz on !!!! Would have given more stars otherwise

25/08/2025: Everything is in order, beer is on point, atmosphere is great, people are very polite and intelligent, a place without a doubt to visit again and recommend to a family member or friend to go there for a visit, you won't be disappointed, in fact you will come back and recommend here at Pier Head Inn, there is a lot of history.

26/07/2025: Busy " metropolitan " pub doing food with a good Indian overhead - very busy - noticed a few orders of " a glass of rose' please " Lots of outdoor seating and plenty " buzz " around Busy spot !

25/08/2025: A close friend of mine worked at this restaurant and still hasn’t received the tips that were owed. Despite trying to resolve the matter, the management has completely ignored the issue. It’s disappointing to see a place that serves customers every day treat its staff in such an unfair way.

20/08/2025: Very good! The dishes are generous and the flavors are there. The staff is courteous.
