02/10/2026: Got gluten free catering for my daughters debs night food here is stunning. Will definitely be going back the nicest cake she's had and the canapes were just divine.

30/09/2026: Lovely cafe, come here frequently and often meet up friends. One minor thing, GF cake etc only once a week? Otherwise great!

18/10/2026: It's my second time visiting and I'm from Co. Meath. Recommended a friend visit here recently too and like me he loved it. Pizzas are amazing. Please keep up the good work.

04/10/2026: We love this place. Pizza and sides consistently brilliant whenever we visit. All the staff are lovely, service is quick. Only comment would be to please consider having more veggie or fishy options - prawns or tuna. This is only because we are here loads and I don’t eat meat so options are pretty limited. Gutted I missed the summer goats cheese and relish pizza. That sounded lush!

16/06/2026: Only heard about this on the "Yay Cork" website. Subsequently found out it was the old Quin Ryan local pub in a previous life. Decent beer garden out back and you can order pizza from a place a few doors up and eat it in the pub.

21/09/2026: Our food was beautiful and sever was very attentive. There was an issue with a a lady when we were eating but the manager handled the situation so carefully. He was attentive and so kind to her .He made her feel relaxed. He should be awarded for his kind act .Well done to him.👏👏

10/09/2026: 6.40 for a roll is bad enough....But to get your roll rock hard for the price everytime is a disgrace. You'd think I'd learn at this stage but it seems to be the way. Your rolls are constantly rock hard. If your prices are at the higher end, please make sure your rolls are not like bricks for your customers.

29/06/2026: Great shop with a very nice deli. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Great selection of pizza bases, sausages and rashers in the fridge

12/05/2026: Found myself in Blackrock today and happened across On a Platter Deli. The coffee is so good I can't even begin to describe it, I would drive out of my way just for another one really soon. Had a beautiful sandwich which was freshly made and have to say 10 out of 10 all round. The service was super, happy and attentive staff, the selection was more than ample (everything from Vegan delights to meat lovers dreams) and the real family feel to the shop means I would definitely be back. Thank you On a Platter for making my day.

11/10/2026: Was here for breakfast today, coffee was great, but breakfast was awful. a big plate of crap. Rashers were loaded in salt,the sausages were pure cheap,no flavor, Everything was done in the Fat frier... The toast was cheap sliced pan... Looking at what others had , and judging on what was left on plates says a lot. Wouldnt call in again...

27/07/2026: The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were always warmly welcomed, which was a real plus! We ate there several times and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The dining room is comfortable with a wide selection, and the food is of very high quality. Honestly, I highly recommend it.

08/04/2026: It's ashame this pub is closing tonight because it is one of the nicest pubs in Cork City the food i had was perfect Heineken zero beautiful. Ok the service wasn't the best tonight but i guess that was to be expected with staff loosing there jobs. The pub was busy they were short staff. I really hope someone buys this pub. It has serious potential. Anytime i walked past this place it was busy it just needs to new ownership and management train new staff the food is perfect.

03/10/2026: Had dinner there today , we choose the turkey and ham with mash and veg with extra gravy, beautiful food, the gravy is so good, the service was excellent and we left really full , went into a food coma afterwards, delicious

18/09/2026: Great place, but not for me. It was the only pub that had a dish with mushrooms. My wife had them. You could also watch football. The food was good 👍🏾.
