03/11/2025: Nice City centre coffees and cakes, very reasonably priced with a good atmosphere.

14/10/2025: We loved the coffee and desserts; everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was also friendly and attentive.

13/11/2025: Cute little place with good coffee and good food. Service is fast and efficient. I love their overnight oats dish.

30/10/2025: The setting is lovely, but the waiters are unabashedly snobbish. I only recommend it if you fit the criteria of an upper-class clientele. It's mediocre.

21/09/2025: What a find. Walk up the stairs to a bar back in time. The OG wooden floors and tables and bar make the vibe on point. And the drinks are top notch. We ordered off menu and was no problem.

28/09/2025: The Imperial Hotel is a classic Irish hotel with plenty of charm. My room was comfortable and fairly spacious, and I especially liked the bathroom interiors; they had a nice touch of elegance (wish I’d remembered to get a video of them!). 🛁 That said, my room was located in the basement, with a view directly into other rooms, which wasn’t the most inviting. At €220 per night (without breakfast), the value felt a little off for what was offered. The big plus here is the central location, it’s right in the heart of Cork, making it really easy to explore the city. Overall, a decent stay if location is your top priority, though there are a few trade-offs. Ratings: 🛏️ Room Comfort & Design: 3.5/5 🛎 Service & Ambience: 4/5 💸 Money’s Worth: 3/5

01/09/2025: Only takeaway cups despite having seating inside and outside. That's enough to put me off but the quality of the coffee has declined too.

And a full feed on their own The loaded fries are also excellent but would feed 3 people in one portion Only negative is walked in to order and waited 45 mins for the food. Was orders coming in over phone, deliveroo etc and all prioritised ahead of walk ins (or that's what it felt like anyway!!) Worth it, just order in advance

06/08/2025: Always incredible pizza and service. Lovely staff and cosy atmosphere. The vegan cheese is delicious too! Potatoes are ok but I’d love if they added chips to the menu. The pizza is so delicious we don’t mind though .

18/11/2025: A very nice, comfortable hotel, but the purpose of a hotel is to be able to sleep so you're rested for work or leisure. The room overlooked a street full of drunken vagrants who literally screamed all night, making it impossible to rest. A disastrous experience. Even though I understand the hotel can't do anything about it, the guest can't help but associate their experience with the noise. That's an expensive way to avoid a sleepless night.

12/11/2025: Victor and Aishling on the desk today were incredibly helpful in getting me a last minute taxi to the airport. I didn’t even stay at the hotel but the level of service they provided me made me wish I had

16/10/2025: Please forgive me, but I have to say that there are places that would be better left unopened. There are so many things that shouldn't even be part of the decor, but oh well. I wish them the best of luck and hope they improve for the better.

27/10/2025: I was in Cork for one day and found this spot on reddit. It was the best iced coffee I've had in Ireland in six months. Very good!
