14/10/2026: Very disappointing experience. I asked for a less-burnt sausage roll, but the owner became argumentative insisting they were all the same. I decided not to purchase it and simply asked for my coffee instead, only for him to refuse to serve me. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional behaviour.

04/10/2026: We've just turned up quite hungover from a night out in Cork & our server, Lisa, has just brightened our day. From the minute she sat us down she was so lovely, funny, chatty & made us feel ever-so-slightly less hungover! I've just watched her work herself silly all around the restaurant, serving, greeting, cleaning, re-arranging - all sorts, and she's done it all with a spring in her step and a huge smile. She's waving goodbye to everyone & wishing them all the best with their sundays, i'm not sure if it's the hangover or what but this amount of loveliness is something I'm not used to from a London nandos 🤣 give Lisa a raise! x

05/09/2026: Came here to grab a something to eat and grab a beer. We got here at 4pm when google said they opened at at 2pm and the kitchen opened at 3pm. The bartender said he had just opened and when I asked for food, he said food was not being served. Oh well, moved on. Please fix your you hours and fix your food hours.

08/09/2026: Very nice just came for coffee as I was on my way into the hospital for my physio appointment so thought of coming in here as it’s on the way and it’s very near to the hospital too

04/09/2026: Nice spot, good coffee and friendly staff but the place is filthy, the toilet needs a complete revamp, filthy outdated and see through glass at the door.

25/10/2026: Look, I’m not a Karen. It takes a LOT for me to leave a bad review, but this was really a terrible experience. We had a reservation for 20:45. Got there 20:50. Table was only ready at 21:00. Not a big deal to wait for a table, but like, we had a reservation, come on. Then, came the waiting, endless waiting. No one from service around. I’m not gonna bother writing the events second by second, but service was just sooooo slow and absent. The servers were incredibly polite, and trying their best, but there was just something wrong in that place. We chose to come here because of the Michelin guide, but Jesus Christ was it different from the pictures online (included is a video of the empty sushi bar and dusted beer tap). Please please save your time and money and don’t come here. I’m really sorry if this hurts the owner or the staff, but I just wished I had read this review before I had come. We had the edamame, eal soup and rib eye. The soup and edamame were great, but the rib eye was cold (guess why? Because it sat in the kitchen while the staff were somewhere else). Just so you know, we spent 2h in there just for an entrance and a main.

15/05/2026: Best night club in Cork. Without a doubt. It's very diverse, there's something for everyone. Even coming to Nudes during the day to read a book is fabulous. The space is beautiful and I always feel welcome and safe. I prefer coming to heavy gigs and EDM. This is the place to be for underground music. Thank you for caring and keeping the scene alive. And my favourite part: this room has the best sound in the city. I kid you not!!! Keep going strong! 🤘

05/09/2026: Lively traditional Chipper. Always busy and closes about 9pm. Great choices and the Looney Burger is a really great double burger.

25/08/2026: The Mexicana burger has to be top 3 burgers I've ever had, even with it being vegan. Unbelievable!!

19/05/2026: We were in Cork for just two nights and discovered this bar on our first night and we are glad we did. The owner, Barry I believe his name is has a very friendly tone and was very talkative and friendly to us. The bar has a strong following among locals all of which are very kind. Coming from the USA we felt very welcomed and the Murphys & Beamish was great as well. It’s definitely a place I can recommend.

08/02/2026: Went in there about 5.30pm on 7th February, a Saturday. I stood at the bar with my card in my hand attempting to make eye contact with one of the two men behind the bar for 15 minutes while others around and even next to me were served. I'm unsure why I was studiously ignored. In the end I left without purchasing a drink. My daughter had been collecting our bags from the car which was in Carrols Quay car park, she had suggested I have a drink and a sit down while she did this, and she couldn't quite believe it when she came in and witnessed this behaviour.

02/09/2026: Lovely pub. Good pont and a good atmosphere. Quite when I was there but I'm sure it's buzzin as the week goes on.

21/07/2026: Great coffee and delicious food. Place is very cosy. Staff members are very kind and friendly. Open early, which is is not so obvious for coffee/food places. Parking available. I and I can highly recommend Amberley Dolce & Salato

22/08/2026: Bouncer at the door called my friends ID a fake despite the fact it was a passport in date. He showed multiple forms of ID and the bouncer began squaring up to him. Highly abusive. Avoid like the plague

17/05/2026: 4 oz burger, tasteless frozen chips, over priced junk food. Also the chicken topped fires was frozen dry overcooked chicken. Overpriced. Glorified air fryer Aldi range comes to mind…. Do not waste your money and go else where. Waited 20 mins also
