08/11/2025: Still waiting 2 hours for a delivery (that now says complete online) but no sign of food, tried ringing and seem to also be hanging up the phone.

08/11/2025: Decided to try here for a change (too lazy to drive) as we normally get Dennys, which is only ever top class in both service and quality. Ordered the food at 6PM and it arrives at 8.40PM.. Tried ringing multiple times after an hour and a half only to be hung up. Won't be trying again

12/12/2025: Food was good. Genuinely good smash Burger, nice chips too. Shame about the price. I hadn't been in a while and they raised the prices. €19 for a bacon cheese burger meal + dip is very steep. Probably won't to back for that reason alone. Also it took 40 minutes. It varies a lot. Bear that in mind.

16/09/2025: Very mediocre burger, patties dripping in oil. Didn't feel well after eating it. Chips were alright. The size of a burger tho, quite pathetic. For a place that does only burgers, I expected sth better, while I'd rather go to Burger King next time and get 2 small burgers except one for this price.

11/11/2025: The sweets and coffee were very good, and the service was excellent.

13/10/2025: I have been getting Apache (Burgerhut Hollyhill) for a good few years. When the food is good, it's really enjoyable. But the food isn't always good (particularly the chips), and as a consequence, I feel the need, to write a review, in the hope, it will encourage Apache, to make some improvements. When ordering chips from Apache, staff will often serve you chips, that have been lying in the tray, for God only knows how long, mixed in with some freshly cooked chips.. Can I ask Apache management, why serve customers, old cooked chips, mixed in with fresh cooked chips..???? Its a very mean act, and I have to throw these chips in the bin, as they are hard & horrible. Why mix old, hard, precooked chips, that have been lying in the tray, with fresh cooked chips, and then serve them to a customer..?? Customers, should only be served, FRESHLY COOKED CHIPS..!! Can I ask Apache management, why you don't automatically serve your pizza's box's, in a paper bag..? If a customer orders a pizza, they may have to walk for 15 or 20 minutes, to get home. Carrying the pizza box, with no bag, means the Pizza, will lose a lot of heat, and the pizza can be cold, when the customer gets home. Also why don't you automatically serve the donor box, and chicken spice box, in a paper bag..? Again, these food boxes, are cold, by the time a customer walks home. Also the donor & chicken spice box, can leak sauce, which can destroy a car seat (if the customer is driving home) The stout, middle aged, short haired lady, that works in Apache, gets a bad pain, if a customer asks for a bag, to put a pizza box in, or donor/chicken spice box into.. Can I ask Apache management, to please supply, proper fitting, paper bags, and to offer them to customers, who are being served food, served in a box. Its really frustrating, having to continuously ask staff, for a proper fitting paper bag, to carry pizzas and spice boxes home in. I must say, most of the staff, are very obliging, when you ask them for a bag, with the exception, of the stout, middle aged, short haired lady, who always seems, to always have an issue, and an excuse, when a customer asks for a bag. If Apache, could introduce a policy, of not serving old, precooked chips to customers, and sort out the issue of supplying customers, with proper fitting, brown paper bags, to customers ordering food in boxes, (Particularly the issue, the stout, middle aged, short haired lady has, of placing food boxes into a paper bag) I will come back and give an up to date review. 04/01/2026: Very good quality. Order and collection is on time. But, being a takeaway, there is no soace to sit inside.

21/11/2025: Waited 1 and a half hours for a pizza. When I came they said they hadn't received the order, I ordered again and waited an hour they wouldn't even look in my direction and other customers were the same there was 4 people left while I was waiting because they hadn't even been asked what they wanted for 30 min. They told me it was coming out of the oven a few times the last time I got ones attention guess what he said? "1 min sir it's just coming out of the oven" I said that's what you told me 30 min ago and left. 20 min after they ring to say sorry about the delay can you come get your food? 2 hours later my 1 pizza is ready. Disgraceful manor of there staff and cannot register a complaint with four star it's a joke of a company. 0 stars

30/11/2025: We got €50 food delivered from here tonight. It was genuinely awful. Like truly inedible. The breast of chicken curry was tasteless and paste like with "chicken" with a spongey, disgusting texture. Salt N Pepper chicken was like pork scratchings. Chicken Chow Fan was vile. Slimy and just grim. Thai basil stir fry was terrible. The chips and boiled rice were acceptable.

13/09/2025: Food is very nice and good sized portions but pricey. Recommending the slightly spiced chicken salad bowl ( which has a spiced yoghurt sauce) and the barnyard chicken toastie ( which has a BbQ mustard sauce). The fresh cream desserts are equally generous in size. It had a very airy open sit down area. They blend their own coffee as well.

03/09/2025: Stellar service from staff. On my own, feeding my baby and they went above and beyond. Owner really looked after me. You can see how by setting an example at the top - it trickles down. Everyone is fantastic. I’ll happily pay for that kind of service.

30/12/2025: Staff is fantastic and the atmosphere is welcoming, they are very knowledgeable about cocktails and drinks. When we are in town we always drop by for one or two and have a great time.

29/12/2025: Once inside, the Edison is a really nice, small bar. The decor is nice and the bartenders are all lovely and chatty. However the bouncers are very unwelcoming and interrogated us going in (searched our handbags!!)

25/01/2026: Food was cold and they got the order wrong. The curry sauce was a bit too thick like jelly.

23/01/2026: Very good Chinese food and very fast 👌

17/03/2026: Website says they close at 11 PM on Mondays but showed up at 10 and staff said grill was closed so half the menu was unavailable. Food was rushed and staff were already checking out. Don’t trust the listed hours — go earlier or don’t bother.

22/02/2026: We went here on Sunday afternoon around 2pm. My pita fell apart thick cabbage barley any sign of meat, all sauce poorly constructed product. My partner had Shawma for a change it wasn't a bit as described in the picture. We use the Mahon Point unit which is by far superior. No wonder the Patrick street shop was empty. Standard was far below par. You need to get someone down here fast to sort things out. They barely took notice of our complaints.

16/01/2026: Food is good and great value. They sorted me out with something gluten free and I was not sick! EDIT: Unfortunately, the second time there were wheat noodles in the order and no offer of a refund or a replacement. So, revising from 5 to 2 stars

14/02/2025: Very friendly staff and good service but food wasn’t good. Pasta al limone was inedible because it was so bitter and the tiramisu was frozen in the middle. Disappointing.

08/02/2025: recently visited Don gregorio, a fresh pasta spot in the city, with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag. I ordered the spicy pasta with guanciale, and I was disappointed to find that the dish didn’t include any guanciale at all. The pasta itself was clumped together, likely because it wasn’t loosened enough with sauce, and the sauce lacked flavor. For a restaurant specializing in fresh pasta, this was a letdown. On a positive note, the **mortadella focaccia** was excellent—well-prepared and flavorful. The **coffee and cannoli** were also highlights of the meal, and I’d definitely recommend them. One frustration was missing out on the **ragu special**, which is one of my favorites. I wasn’t informed about it by the staff but overheard the waiter telling other customers. It would have been nice to have been given the same opportunity to try it. Overall, while there were some bright spots, the inconsistency in the food and service left me underwhelmed. I might give it another try in the future, but for now, I’d recommend sticking to the appetizers and desserts.

25/02/2026: Disgusting!!! I was in Ramen Dennehys cross this eve and the guy clearing the tables wasn't wiping any down, every single table that got cleared he would come down just lift the old food plates off and go to the next table! The next people to use the tables are sitting in dirt , same guy then handled the drink glasses without cleaning his hands ! What type of training is given to the foregien working there? No point in using cheap labour if your not going to train them in basic food sanitation, how people are getting sick from visiting this dive each week I wonder? This "restaurant needs to be inspected ASAP until the staff are thought how to not posion everyone in the area

28/01/2026: Korean wings lovely flavour. Very generous portion. But meat on the wings very over cooked. Depends on what your in to I guess. But I went in here to get ramen. The place is called ramen. So I ordered ramen. Do not come here if you want ramen. Came with potatoes and rice. No ramen noodles. Bowl filled with cheap burnt dark soy sauce. No dept or flavour at all. No acidity, sweetness , spice, garlic, onion or ginger flavour to it all. I rarely leave reviews but I really think this place needs help.

30/11/2025: The food would be nice, but a strong old oil after-taste, more than once. For the premium price they charge, this needs to be fixed. Waiting area OK to wait through the rain.
