The best restaurants in Cork

11/05/2025: I went in the store around 5 PM. There was hardly anyone in store. Only one person working, he took my order. I ordered 3 Chicken Kebabs and 1 Vegetarian Kebabs. He said it will take 20 min. but it took more than 30 min knowing the fact that only he was working in store little delay is understandable But , when I reached home there was no vegetarian kebab, all 4 kebabs were chicken. I called store to inform that we did not receive vegetarian kebab, the person on call was adamant to accept that he did not gave vegetarian kebab. He was again and again saying that he made on his own, it’s not possible that vegetarian kebab is not there. I told him that I am opened all the 4 kebabs and all have chicken in it. He was not at all ready to listen to me or accept this let alone apologise for his mistake. In the end I had to hang up call with no apology, no vegetarian kebab and no refund. I was so frustrated but he did not care about it. He was only fixed on he made it on his own. I paid and did not even get to eat anything. I would not recommend this place at all.

30/06/2025: I was in this McDonald's and the staff didn't call the number loud enough and someone had taken my order. This Is not acceptable.

10/06/2025: Had a Mc Donald's here today ordered a Mc Chicken the sauce must have been gone off it's after making me awful.You should cook from fresh when customers order not under the lights and then give food to customers as food could be sitting there all day 😞

30/07/2025: Dinos is a Cork institution and we expect super high standards based on our consistently fantastic experiences in other Dinos locations. However, we were shocked by the quality of the culinary experience we had the misfortune of enduring due to this place. Hard, bland chips. Fish had a sour aftertaste and had multiple hairs in it. Burgers were OK. Staff were nice. Couldn’t pay me to visit here again, especially due to the likely poor return due to the extortionate prices for the standard of food you receive. Dinos Douglas is about 5 minutes down the road and upholds MUCH higher standards than this location. Disappointed.

13/06/2025: Ordered fish and chips, the worst piece of fish ever, it was overcooked so half was wasted. Very disappointing for this type of service. NOT WORTH A VISIT.

26/05/2025: Friendly staff always , very kind , very helpful , however I really hope you do something about the entitled ignorant parents who block pumps and wait for their children in your forecourt , unbelievable they refused to move I hope you don't tolerate this

14/05/2025: Don't come here if you re hungry as youll end up paying a fortune, €7 for a breakfast roll is crazy and to top ot off it's not even cut in half. Disguisting behaviour

18/08/2025: Disgrace of a nightclub , security is extremely violent towards women,pushing and shoving women for no reason!! what i seen in there would turn your stomach!! Wouldn't recommend horrible behaviour out of both security and staff !!!

18/08/2025: AVOID The worst nightclub I’ve ever stepped foot in tried to say I had to much to drink when I’d only just bought my first drink in there security tried to push and shove me down the stairs as I was tryna explain I hadn’t had anything to drink except the one bottle of wkd I bought at the bar very abusive and ignorant just aswell I hadn’t had a load of drink I’d have went flying as was wearing heels would never again step foot in there horrible staff and security!!!!

30/08/2025: Honestly when I saw an eggs Benedict for €13.50 I thought it was an okay price but when we received a single piece of toast each I realised I was wrong… the eggs were fine but the rashers were like rubber and my mother described the bread as “tasting like gluten free bread”. The Benedict also only tasted like pepper, like truly it was overwhelming. I think it was the sauce that had too much pepper? €36 for two Benedicta and two coffees… would not recommend.

17/08/2025: I asked for a dairy-free sandwich, NO CHEESE! due to my baby’s severe allergy, but it was served with pesto that contains cheese. Please be careful these mistakes can cause serious health problems.

20/06/2025: Ordered in for delivery, the 2 pizzas came an hour late and were stone cold, the pizza dough was also raw and also the pizza we ordered wasn’t correct. We rang for a complaint and the girl on the other end rudely hung up the phone when we demanded a refund. Not happy atall and would not recommend and in future will not be ordering from this place ever again.

11/06/2025: Snowflake rude staff and the food isn't great. Better go to Lucianos just a minute away where the staff are friendly.

03/02/2025: It has everything but it is very expensive, but I also understand that the income should not be low, but salaries etc. This is the only way these shops can survive.

05/06/2025: We had to explain what a rasher was. Then he took the order after 5 times we repeated the order. After all that he said "now wait" and started serving the next person.

29/04/2025: Delicioso 😋 al preguntar al personal minorista de abajo, ¿dónde irías a almorzar acordaron unánimemente Bagel bar. Así que lo hicimos y tuvimos un sándwich de bagel realmente genial. A diferencia de otros buenos puntos de venta rápidos, no hay sensación hinchada rellena después, así que recomiendo este lugar.

02/09/2025: Lads were sound to take an order off me just as they were closing. Pizza was delicious, highly recommend!

20/07/2025: Hawaiian pizza, €14. Probably an 85% profit outside of overheads. Toppings sparce and dough is quite chewy. Menu small. It's a mad place that Marina Market... Lovely atmosphere but the food is WAY overpriced.... for street food! More fool me for paying it. Ending up binning the last 3 slices.

01/09/2025: The food was only okay. The spice bags are flavorful and the curry was good but was in no way fresh. The service took forever as the young lady working the food stall was chatting with what I assume is a friend or off duty coworker who was smoking in front of the ordering station. She was so distracted she left out our vegetable rolls. It could use substantial improvement.

26/08/2025: This is my favorite spot in Cork. It has become tradition for my friends and I to get spice bags here after a night out. The portions are large, the flavor is great (get the satay sauce!!), the price is reasonable, and the staff is always kind and quick when getting the food out. I have not eaten a spice bag that even compares to Wok ‘n’ Roll.

02/08/2025: Had black bean beef there tonight ,tasteless, not one bit of flavour on any part of dish ,left most of it behind ,nor like past experiences of ramen where food is usually very good .

11/03/2025: Appalling treatment of customers, my Mum was served a pastry she did not order, and subsequently told by a server called Finnola she could not get the correct pastry due to ‘health and safety reasons’. She then proceeded to debate what my Mum ordered. Rude, unprofessional and disrespectful service from this particular server, who also visibly treated other severs with disrespect. Food was unremarkable. Avoid this place.

14/01/2025: Never go this restaurant, your hard earned money gone worst 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 I order chicken biryani and i told them please make it spicy like Bangladeshi food .but don't do it the food i get like they cook it before, when i order they put it microwave heat and serve me . very disappointed, worst food ,worst service by waiters.Never go there

17/11/2024: Hi everyone, Just stay as far away from this restaurant as much as possible. This is an honest review. I am writing this review for the welfare of people of Cork. This restaurant is the worst among the restaurants I visited in my life. And it’s the same after 3 years I visited again. Nothing changed. I went out with my friends for dinner, ordered few different curries with beaf and chicken, along with chapati and naan. It was difficult to order because the guy tried to force us to order things according to his choice not ours. Now the order arrived and story started. The food is literally 0.1/5 in taste. I asked the guy to change the chapatis as they were literally burnt. Not eatable. The guy gave his first argument that (we sell chapatis like this, you have to eat them burnt as it is) Then his arrogance kicked in and he stoped serving us, we left the restaurant with worst experience and spoiled night. As I am an asian guy and I know what they are selling to people of Cork on the name of Indian food, Absolutely nothing. Pretty much same curry thing with hundreds of names. You won’t feel a difference in any thing. Long story short. Please stay away. And now I realised that there are loads of reviews of same kind as I am giving. I regret I would have read those reviews before I had given them chance to spoil our night out.

26/08/2025: As a first-time customer I found the service is rude from the Asia staff member. She just pointed to the cutlery/tissue without a word n cold face when I asked as first time customer which felt unfriendly. In a traditional Irish restaurant in Douglas, I think management should consider staff selection as they represent the place. For the food, it tastes fair for the sandwich, the strawberry mocha was okay.

22/08/2025: The hot chocolate was not good, the chocolate was bitter and chocolate powder can be seen undesolved, also the prices you see are more expensive if you dine in than take away
