03/05/2025: Lovely spot upstairs for a vegetarian lunch with windows overlooking the river. Friendly staff and good for gluten free options too. Highly recommend it.

30/04/2025: Such a wonderful Café, the staff is lovely and the food is too. With all the trees and flowers it's just beautiful to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine with a coffee.
09/01/2025: Been here twice. Lovely Victorian greenhouse set up as cafe. Very good value for money. Greenery around you and fab view of northside.Had a soup and sandwich. Very nice and decent amount. Sandwich wasn't your skinny stuff you get in lots of places. Proper sandwich.
Not much parking at all. Better on foot if possible. But worth it.
They even give you blankets in winter. It is a greenhouse but heaters also. Definitely return.

16/05/2025: No introduction is needed in the city of Cork. In the morning, it is almost a ritual to go and have a coffee or any other drink, but this café is 5 stars for those who have difficulty waking up and just go there and order a double espresso. There are two other roasters in the city, which was an excellent idea to expand what is good and recommended. You can also buy coffee beans here, and if you have a coffee machine at home, you will save a lot of money, but I also tell you that it is not the same as having your Americano or espresso here.
11/05/2025: I had my coffee here every morning during my stay in Cork, the coffee is tasty, the hot chocolate too, and the staff are really cool :)

This Chinese restaurant and takeaway is located close to the Supervalu in Ballincollig Cork.
This is not a huge premises but the atmosphere is great. The Staff so friendly and attentive. Susan l think is the name of the lady that served us. She was brilliant 👏
Fantastic selection on the menu.
Very clean.
Great value.
Great parking.
Call in.

26/05/2025: Thank you very much to all the staff at the Bowling alley.
If I can offer one suggestion- it would be good if the assigned staff member stayed with the group until the bowling teams were all set up and monitors worked properly, rather than the guest having to walk up & down to the counter seeking assistance. Once the games were set up the party went smoothly.

10/05/2025: It's good, but some say it's a little burnt, others say it's very thin and crispy, others say it's nothing special and very difficult to please everyone. For me, when I order pizza, I choose my pizza and there's no problem at all, and everyone should do the same. Instead of choosing defects, choose your pizza. The pizza maker makes the pizza to your taste. Then you order what you want and if you make a mistake with the flavors, you'll definitely get it right next time. Pizza made in a stone oven is even part of that very old Italian tradition in which pizza became a very special food.
05/05/2025: Very chewy base. Maybe it's better in the restaurant and not delivered but I would have been better off with a Lidl pizza. Expensive too.

The Pie Guys

21/01/2025: Ireland is greatly lacking in places where you can get a decent pie. First time at the Black Market so decided to try these guys. I had the Beef & Beamish pie meal (side of mash with some slaw & salad). The pie was delicious and the mash was smooth and creamy.
Service was fast and I liked that the packaging was recyclable. A little pricey for what it is but will definitely go back.

29/05/2025: We visited this morning. It was such a lovely experience. The guys that run it are gentlemen. The coffee was the best I've had in a long time.Overall a great experience, we will back anytime we come to Cork.
28/04/2025: First time in Ireland. Woke up a bit later than expected and needed a quick coffee and on the go breakfast.
Staff was awesome and the yogurt granola mix was great. Coffee tasted fresh and made perfectly to order.
Wife needed a lemon for a sore throat, but they didn't have one, so they offered a lime instead.
