20/10/2025: Excellent main course. Roulade desert €7.60 disappointing and small, raspberry drizzle instead of real raspberries . Charged for Cordial ???

17/10/2025: Just had our second trip to the Barn for breakfast, the food is always amazing but what really stood out is their service and the friendly staff. Our waitress was Mary T. She made it such a lovely experience and can’t wait to go back again and looking forward to meeting her again Tara

09/09/2025: Beautiful selection of pastries. Hubby had donut with apple chunks that was fabulous. I had a dulce de Leche donut that was awesome.

25/08/2025: Amazing donuts! Many places tend to make them overly sweet, but I found theirs really well balanced. I especially enjoyed the Boston Creme and Pistachio. The service was friendly as well.

13/10/2025: Just a takeaway: grilled lamb and chips but so good and quick (lamb cooked while i waited) and enough food for two. Great price too. The naan served with the meat and salad is wonderful and fresh. No complaints here. The restaurant is clean and bright and the staff fantastic. A very filling meal.

12/10/2025: Visitor from Dublin. Tried this place twice, and tasted different items from the menu. most recently yesterday. The food is really nice! The kebabs/lambs/chicken are juicy, soft, and served in good quantity. Prices are affordable, and I’m very satisfied overall. Highly recommended.

25/08/2025: Wow, seriously the best Chinese food we've ever had. Ordered the Thai crispy beef, crispy shredded chicken in honey sauce and the sweet & sour pork - all absolutely delicious. Don't normally write reviews but this is an awesome family run restaurant and they deserve all the success.

28/04/2025: Had my baby shower there and it was fantastic couldn't fault the place staff wore so nice and done an amazing job with decorating would highly recommend dj on the night was brilliant 👌 100% would book again

06/10/2025: One member of staff kept saying that we had to move seats, so much for the customer is always right, really not good for business, we won't be back, ps all the other staff were fantastic

05/10/2025: We have been regular customers to the woolshed over the years and never had any issues but you’re asking for trouble if you go in there now. The staff are HORRIBLE. They do not respect their paying customers and we intend on telling everyone we meet to avoid the place.

16/10/2025: Interior is dated. Coffee was below average, totally overpriced food too.. I won't be back.

26/09/2025: I had the coffee here and it was bitter I think they added too much coffee. I can drink strong coffee but this was bitter and adding sugar didn't help it. It is overpriced and not really high standard and a few of the staff look depressed there but the staff were nice I just felt bad for them. If it's all of them looking a bit sad it's usually the way they are treated by management, i know from personal experience. Edit: Excuse me but I don't care. 1 I don't go to Ucc, 2 This is my review of your café I have given other places 1 star your not special. 3 if you are going to threaten defamation you have to prove that what people say are false. 4 I never knew about you threatening a staff with a weapon allegedly now I regret ever going to your cafe as that is disgusting to have that as a rumour. This comment you made makes you seem deranged. I never knew about the rumours I stopped in and had bad coffee which is what I put down and your staff seemed sad how would you know if you ain't there. You have to things in your personal life. Get a grip not everyone is going to like your cafe

02/09/2025: I didn’t try the food here, but it looked really delicious. The drink was perfect. The staff were also very nice, and were all working very hard. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely come here when in Cork.

16/10/2025: Over rated. Asked for less garlic and still got a heap of garlic on my chips - chips were okay. Nothing special. Pita was awful, bread was good though. Other local chippers a lot better 👍🏼
