The best restaurants in Cork

06/12/2025: I had a really good time. The person who served us was extremely friendly, wearing a cute pink Hello Kitty sweater, and was really helpful with figuring out how to get to the airport. The place is well-decorated and spacious, with lovely fabrics on the sofas and chairs.

28/02/2026: Nice hotel great staff but rooms need a serious uplift , old carpets old tvs leaking taps old shower heads , central heating .... could have had itnon longer , room was cold initially had to wear hoodie for half night, room.was very cold in the mornings hut for a short stay i didnt want to complain . Breakfast was nice all you needed in one place , be early forbthe freshest hot breakfast we arrived late and everything was over cooked had hard , again staff were fab in Breakfast hall full of chat and the cork accent singing miles ..... would I stay again ..... yes Cab to city ...12 to 14 euro Supermac's 800 m away Garage with nibbles 800 m away

24/02/2026: We held our Mothers final send off at Silver Springs. Everything was perfect, even when we had the traditional sing song at the end of the day when other people were eating in the restaurant was not a problem. The food was first class and we had table service for the drinks which was lovely. Thanks to all the staff who were really kind and nothing was a problem.

05/11/2025: Ordered a coffee and a sausage roll, but after waiting 25 minutes, I still hadn't gotten the sausage roll. I then had to join the very slow moving queue to reorder the item which I had already paid for. When I finally reached the top of the queue, I was met with attitude from the person behind the counter, and was offered no apology. I then had a lukewarm microwaved sausage roll and a cold coffee for which I paid over €8.

05/11/2025: Excellent coffee with beans from all over the world, from Ethiopia to Colombia. If you're looking for a great speciality coffee, this is the place for you. If you want to have a coffee, read a good book or write, this is also a great place. A coffee shop for everyone in Cork.

14/09/2025: lovely spot, needs a bit of cosy added, so many options in line of pastries and savoury food

07/09/2025: €8.95 for a coffee and a scone. Way too expensive. Coffee was nice scone was ok. Got a pastiche de nata also for nearly 4 quid... Really poor left it behind. Staff were really nice.

15/01/2026: Lovely food. Usually good service. Not today though. The girl behind the counter taking orders and money was completely disinterested. No eye contact. No smile. Rude. When you're there to spend almost 20 rag for your munch for breakfast you'd like to feel like you're welcomed to the establishment. Not today. The nose ringed, arm tattooed, gum chewing cashier just didn't make us feel welcomed. That's enough to sway me to never patronise the calf gaff ever again. Shame really. Coz as I say... The food is good. I'm not gonna be made feel like an unwanted customer though. Unwanted? Fair enough. They're not getting my service again. Bye bye.

23/11/2025: I had a craving for a good toastie all week and I immediately thought of De Calf. Toastie is excellent. Nice coffee. Friendly and efficient service. Warm atmosphere.

14/03/2026: I went into there shop today with my boyfriend and I was laughed at for having a walking aid over and over again I need my walking aid because I am disabled and it was the staff that were laughing at me I should be treated like everyone else I am traumatized from this experience plz don't eat here and support the disability community

16/02/2026: The service & atmosphere: really good! but the food is on par what most people would cook at home themselves, which certainly does not justify €20+ price tag per main course. €7.50 for a pint of beer is shockingly disappointing also We had a pleasant experience, but won’t be back. Wasn’t high enough quality to deserve our hard earned money with the prices being charged.

02/10/2025: Came here on a busy day when they were really understaffed. The staff were so lovely and patient with everyone even though they were clearly stressed. Very impressed

15/01/2026: Great pub, right in the city centre. Perfect for daytime coffee, evveing drinks and afternoon people watching outside. Lovely staff too.

03/02/2026: There are some vacancies. The hot chocolate and cappuccino are good quality. The espresso is bitter, perhaps over-roasted. Overall, it's a good place to relax and grab a bite. Prices are average for the area.

02/02/2026: We ordered four different sandwiches and they were all so delicious. The Chai Latte and Cappuccino were great too. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans 😇

06/02/2026: Took AirCoach from Dublin and the hotel is only 5 minutes down the road. Elegant entry and charming lobby for tea. Our bathroom was a little odd shaped but we managed. Staff everywhere were friendly and attentive. We had breakfast included, which included everything on the menu. And the hotel bar was a nice way to cap the evening off.

18/12/2025: Had the most delicious pizza here recently, and the garlic bread was divine! The staff are so friendly, its such a lovely cosy pub with a really nice atmosphere. Will definately be back👍
