Lovely paintings, moving videos, emotional sculptures. Definitely the place to go !

31/03/2025: I wasn't very happy because when I ordered I paid extra for meat.I got two corners of prons for €4 I will never go to you, they are robbing you of your food. I'm not alone, my friend, you want to complain about not enough meat?

23/03/2025: Basic coffee shop serving the usual mix of coffee, scones, sausage rolls etc. Table service, polite staff. Coffee is good quality. I give this 3/5 because it's relatively expensive and most of all because the seating is uncomfortable, cramped and in need of renovation. A cafe shop should be a place you are comfortable spending time in. I understand furniture needs to be robust especially in Ireland, but a couple of cushions would make a big difference.

The Pie Guys

21/01/2025: Ireland is greatly lacking in places where you can get a decent pie. First time at the Black Market so decided to try these guys. I had the Beef & Beamish pie meal (side of mash with some slaw & salad). The pie was delicious and the mash was smooth and creamy.
Service was fast and I liked that the packaging was recyclable. A little pricey for what it is but will definitely go back.
21/10/2024: I was in Cork for a day trip and came across The Pie Guys in the black market totally by accident. Situated in a really cool building with other food vendors I was immediately impressed by the vibe of the market . More importantly in The Pie Guys ,the Cheesy kiwi Pie, mash and slaw was the best pie and mash i have ever had !The presentation and taste were top class. You have to try this place, you won’t be disappointed.I look forward to visiting again on my next visit to Cork : )

15/03/2025: I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be one of the best place where to go, drink and eat in Cork.
Now, beer that tastes like it was in tubes for a week and cost €7.8! (normal Madri beer, the No. 7 was out)
Changed menu - food is ok. Won't amaze you any longer but won't hurt you..
Service is good, obviously these issues are not with the floor staff, they do their best with what's given to them.
The cost of having beer out is seriously getting out of hands. To all pub owners out there.. stop winging about not people coming in when you sell beers for €5+..

It has rich and deep flavor. And salmon sauvage was really nice as well. It was fresh and delicious!
The staffs were really kind and helpful.
I definitely recommend this place for matcha.
17/01/2025: My God, 100% praise for this place! The sushi is wonderful and so fresh—it’s absolutely delicious. Not to mention the staff, who are incredibly friendly. At least three times a month, I’m there to get my sushi, my dinner. I highly recommend it; you won’t regret it. The sushi is well-filled, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and simply sensational.

09/03/2025: Was visiting the city and going by the good reviews we wanted to give it a try. The service was good, but the food overpriced for the strain it put on the stomach. Already while eating the sweet and sour dish I felt "off" and didn't finish it. Now I'm having stomach issues. To be fair, my gf did enjoy the beef stew so maybe I was unlucky. But I wouldn't try again. Edit: Next morning my gf is also feeling sick. Can't recommend AT ALL!
25/02/2025: I frequently go here for lunch with work colleagues. It's the highlight of our week! Great value and some really good dishes. Rice with BBQ duck is a favourite. I've never received a dish I did not like.

01/04/2025: I recently had a quick visit to the hotel for a drink to be greated by a friendly face her name was debbie all the staff where phenomenal but by far she stood out the most with her bar skills and manor I'd highly recommend visiting for a drink as the warmth and friendly ness amongst staff would make you enjoy a quiet drink 🙌🙌🙌

25/02/2025: I went for a quick bite but they have such a hearty menu. Everything tasted good but what I like the most is how the lady on the counter guided me through the menu. I love the food, the warmth and hospitality of the place. Highly recommended!
25/10/2024: I have been going to Stewstore for nearly 2 years. Wonderful range of world curries, stews and other smaller menu items not found anywhere else in this part of the city. Frequent menu changes throughout the year keeps things interesting. Owner and staff are incredibly kind and truly appreciate return customers. An establishment that deserves more love in the Marina Market!
