07/03/2026: I was visiting cork at the start of Feb and had breakfast. I have to say it was one of the nicest breakfast I’ve had out in a LONG time! The staff were super friendly and they were super accommodating to swap out items, it was also cook perfectly and tasted really delicious. It’s very hard these days to find a breakfast that tastes nicer than you would cook at home! Oh and the coffee was also really good! Highly recommend!

08/10/2025: Small, quaint shop with excellent food and friendly staff! I had the Nutella banana pancakes and my husband Breakfast nap sandwich. Both were delicious!! We also had the raspberry almond cake. Tea and coffee were great. Reasonably priced and food was super fresh! A must see!

05/09/2025: We recently ordered a sandwich platter for 15 people from the Floury Apron. They were absolutely top quality and we had a great mix of fillings in ciabatta , foccacia, wraps and slice pan. Caroline was very attentive via email and followed up afterwards to make sure we were happy with our order. Food, service and value were all 10/10. Would highly recommended.

31/08/2025: A very tiny wonderful place, the best apricot oat slice I ever had! After a nice walk this is a very good option!

03/06/2025: Delicious sandwiches and cakes. Vegan and vegetarian options, and excellent, freshly baked bread to take away.

15/02/2026: Absolutely Appalling! Ordered tonight and found a piece of plastic. I presume from the ham packaging. I was shocked at the lack of toppings also . I paid an extra charge for two toppings and I could barely see them , few specks here and there. Waste of €20 . I was a regular but doubt I'll be going back . Pity cos the owner is a gentleman.

06/01/2026: The Rock Pub is a super cozy spot with a beautiful interior. It gives strong medieval vibes, almost like stepping into an old Irish inn. We went on a weekday, so it was quiet and peaceful—perfect if you want to relax. They’ve got a pool table and even a piano, and the seating near the fireplace is especially nice. They also offer discounts on certain beers through a card system. With the card, three beers cost €13 instead of €18, which is a great deal. Overall, it’s a warm, cozy place that’s easy to enjoy.

03/10/2025: A gem of a spot in Blackpool. Doorstep sandwiches have generous portions, not to mention all the delicious cakes and breads they make in-house. Staff have always been friendly and professional. I always make time to call to Brackens when in the area.

06/03/2026: I visited this place with a group of six friends and we all ordered food and drinks, including myself. In total we spent around €120, so I was not there eating for free. Because of medical dietary restrictions and food intolerances, I brought a small salad since there were no suitable options on the menu (even after buying a pizza and a drink to support the business). The owner approached our table in an aggressive manner, raised his voice, and told me it was his business and that I should leave if I didn’t like it. I tried to explain my situation but wasn’t given the chance. He was extremely rude. I respect that businesses can have their own policies, but the way I was treated was very disrespectful.

12/10/2025: Beautiful Cafe with a lovely cosy interior and atmosphere,theres also a Charity Shop next door with some lovely items available and reasonably priced....both the Cafe and Charity Shop support Down Syndrome which is fantastic to support

21/12/2025: One of my favourite pubs in the city! The beer garden is huge and such a vibe during the summer. Wide selection of drink. The (I think) Australian bouncer is so lovely and funny!!

08/12/2025: Our little troupe of geriatric walkers booked our Christmas night out in "Deep South" and from the first contact to the last we were met with outstanding hospitality and real appreciation for the custom. As the organiser, I have to give a special mention to Alannah who was absolutely superb and for whom no detail was too small, even though we were only a group of 13 and there were some big company nights on as well. We were also asked if anyone had any special dietary requirements. As a party venue I would highly recommend "Deep South" and, whoever is organising next year's gig, I imagine there will be no complaints if we return for the next instalment.

28/09/2025: One of my favorite places to have a lovely coffee and amazing desserts. Staff is always very friendly.

13/09/2025: Server was lovely. But! I got ONE spoon of granola in my açai bowl which was kind of ridiculous. For €10.50 I should be getting at least three spoons. The barista made a great coffee but like price for return is non existent. Could be great as the location is handy and the cafe itself is lovely inside. Potentially a great place, but not quite there.
