15/11/2025: Highly recommended to give the curry corner a chance.
Delivers high quality both in taste and service. I visit often and I personally recommend their lamb and chicken dishes. They have all options for naan bread and sea foods too. They also have the fast food options like the burgers doner kebabs which are also a top pick for me.
Only con is that they are only a takeaway shop.

02/12/2025: I’m reluctant to leave a good review because it means that it will get more popular! This was my first visit but it won’t be my last. I had coffee and French toast with maple syrup and bacon. The French toast was yummy, with a lovely hit of cinnamon, good maple syrup accompanied by crispy, streaky bacon. The service is friendly and efficient and the space is cosy. A definite five stars.

20/10/2025: I bought a baguette with hot chicken this morning and the chicken was like a shoe sole, it was probably three days old and the baguette is also dry, disgusting! Considering the class of the store and the prices, I thought the food was of a high standard and fresh, big mistake, I will definitely not go back there.
16/10/2025: Cleanest premises ever .. food from the deli is outstanding. All staff are lovely to be with and it's always busy..

13/12/2025: We attended to Bookshelf last night for our staff Christmas party and I could not compliment it enough!
From my initial enquiry to paying the bill last night Paul and his team were brilliant, they were extremely accommodating, efficient and the food was sensational.
It’s great to see the food scene in Cork thriving and the bookshelf have always been brilliant at what they do and last night was no different.
This venue was perfect for a private hire for and definitely a hidden gem.

30/11/2025: Had a lovely impromptu dinner date here. Food was delicious and well priced. Small internal seating area and though tables are close together, we felt it was still private enough. Service brilliant and staff very friendly.

We originally booked a table for four, but since we ended up being five, the staff went out of their way to arrange a larger table for us without any trouble. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the team was incredibly attentive and friendly. We truly appreciated their flexibility and kindness. Highly recommended!
