19/09/2024: A lovely little cafe with delicious tiny cakes. The coffee was good. Five tables outside and high tables inside. Close walk to Douglas Court /Village. Park in Douglas or Aldi, parking near cafe is not free.

19/10/2024: Best boba in Cork. I personally like fruit tea so that's what I get. I had boba at other places and they always seem to put lemon or lime slices into the tea which kind of changes the flavor, Laodao doesn't do that. I love them for that

13/10/2024: Food was tasty but quiet expensive.Receptionists were not polite and they don't even know what menu they have under south Indian dishes.They don't even provide a table to us .we were standing Infront of the reception morthan 10 minute and looking for the menu with 4 year old child.we called and booked a table before we go there ..However ,the first experience was very bad from the guys who were in the reception.
The one who came and served food was very nice and professional.
23/09/2024: Really lovely restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious with incredible flavours. The presentation was good and the service was too. There were dishes for vegans and vegetarians too. The vegetable bhajjia (vegan) was incredible.

The coffee tastes like Badger & Dodo.
Unfortunately there's no seating area and nowhere to enjoy the marvellous food on a wet day.

04/11/2024: Chicken burger massive, burger had better, small in size, looked over-cooked, fell apart, desserts were mean for price and €1 extra for ice-cream which we paid x 2 and never got, dessert portion tiny, choc syrup and a tube of cream instead of ice cream. Liked the atmosphere, lively and staff excellent. The place was buzzing

15/10/2024: Not used to write reviews but I have to lol.
I was there with a friend earlier tonight and just after I got my ice cream I accidentally dropped it on the floor. Right away one of the staff members was so kind to replace it with a new one without charging me.
Absolutely recommended.. also the ice cream was really good.
Such a small gesture yet so big.. it made my day.
Thanks so much again!! 😭😭😭
28/09/2024: Delicious soft serve in cork. Was very heavy with the pistachio sauce and would have liked a few more raspberries but overall very tasty. Many options including milkshakes, crepes and cookie dough desserts also. Not much seating but good for a takeaway option.

However I do think paying just over €31 for a chicken wrap (fillings pared pack by customer preference) a toasted sandwich - both with chips and side salad and one tea and coffee a bit on the expensive side. Appreciate overheads/costs have increased in this industry but I’d almost expect two proper carvery lunches for this amount!
12/08/2024: Great food, generous portions at a reasonable price, staff are kind and attentive, pints and music and atmosphere is great, lovely to have a vibrant yet classic bar in such a busy town
