29/06/2025: Exceptional catering service! The food was delivered right on time. What really impressed us was the incredible taste - every dish was delicious. Hannahs Kitchen were professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend them for any event or occasion.

04/10/2025: Feee art gallery, not huge or with lots to see, but what they do have is thoughtfully crafted & interesting. Also a nice little shop with a wide array of things to purchase. Cafe & toilets dow stairs and with free entry

30/09/2025: To start with, the building itself is stunning! Beautiful museum with very out of the ordinary and original international art. Great restaurant on the ground floor. Offer various courses and events. Cute museum shop.

25/08/2025: Popped in with my wife on a Saturday evening and wow was it busy!!! A great sign for a place right? First, the food. The menu is very interesting with an excellent selection. I had pickled muscles for start, and the rump for main. The pickled muscles were tasty, but somewhat lacking the actual flavour of being pickled. The Rump was a touch overdone and not served with a side which was surprising. My wife had fried oysters to start, and steak tartar for main. I see in other comments that the owner has defended the cost while talking about challenging prices in the business. I would see this as fair, however, it would stand to reason that serving a steak in sauce and nothing else with it is a somewhat sad looking plate. If other business are managing a little something on the side, it may be worth taking a look at how the dish is presented here. The atmosphere was busy, however downside of this was that it would be easier to hold a conversation next to a screaming toddler than here due to the mighty background noise. This is not really the fault of the restaurant as it is the size that it is, just be aware that you may need to perfect your lip reading before arriving. The staff were lovely and very helpful so a big thanks to them! Would I come back? No, too loud but that is just a me problem.

18/08/2025: Wonderful , high quality, beautifully presented & tasty dishes in a relaxed setting.. 3 chose Duck leg - I had Rump steak. Duck parfait starter & others had Otsters in hot sauce. Delicious chips & veg. Decadent flourless chocolate slice - YUM. 2 bottles of Wine. €250 including Tip.

08/09/2025: Brilliant venue for a small gig It was my first time at this venue and it won't be my last. Monitors where you can't see the performers. Seating is limited so get in early if you're an old fella like me.€6.50 for a pint bottle of Bullmers is very fair for a City centre venue. The only thing I found strange was a plastic container with a glass bottle, But that's venue drinking for you. Definitely highly recommend 💯

30/08/2025: Good venue that gets a good selection/mix of bands. Just saw the lemonheads recently and have seen Mudhoney, Frank Turner, Bob Mould, Buzzco ks, Jello Biafra and many more over the years. Since a makeover the new sound system is much improved from when I first started going in the 90's.

31/08/2025: Butlers used to be name i trusted, but their dark hot chocolate is now awful. It was bad - even tasted burnt. Definitely not worth the hype anymore. I hope they will work on the quality so I can once again enjoy the good old days of that taste.

24/05/2025: Here in this establishment it's a pleasure to come here, the service is super and the products are all top notch, it's better to spend a little more than to go for cheap and not even know what you're putting into your body, I highly recommend this establishment as there aren't many in Cork with this experience and quality, my congratulations for all these years open and always very willing to help our customers.

21/04/2025: Really lovely shop. When I visited I met a local guy who visits whenever he can. He said it's a lovely place to read a book or have some chats. The owner is lovely too and will help you with anything she can. Really cosy place and the company was fun too. Great for tea and coffee lovers. All we did was spill the tea! 😅

06/10/2025: Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant in Cork — hands down! Every dish is packed with authentic flavour, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced seasoning. The portions are generous, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick even when it’s busy. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeaway, the quality is consistently amazing. My personal favourites are the crispy chicken and the fried rice — both incredible! I adore their 3in1s also (with extra salt with my takeaway) If you’re looking for real, delicious Chinese food in Cork, this place is unbeatable.

10/08/2025: Visited Route Fourteen with my family for lunch. The food was great, the dining area was spacious, but I have a few points I hope can be considered to improve the service. There were two lunch menus on our visit: one standard lunch menu (same as website) and one specific for the day or week. We ordered from the second menu since they seemed seasonal and more fresh than the regular menu. The prices were similar to other gastropubs around Cork City. I ordered pork belly with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The pork was stuffed with walnuts and dates, a stuffing I would have never thought would taste so nice with pork. Other dishes we had were the "Smash Burger" and Reuben sandwich. We ordered chicken wings with buffalo sauce for starters. Everybody enjoyed their orders but the beef in the Reuben would be better if it was not heated much. For dessert we had a mango and raspberry cheesecake and lemon meringue. Both were presented nicely and tasted amazing. They are best eaten between two people as they are large desserts. We were seated at a bright high table by the window, however we were near a large private booking and I felt a bit under pressure as the staff were setting the tables around us for the arriving diners. Given that the venue was not busy when we arrived, I would have preferred sitting further away from the large group booking. I would highly recommend visiting Route Fourteen on your next day out for lunch or dinner at a gastropub.

22/09/2025: Long wait for main course cavery on a Sunday, Table not ready upon arrival but having said that the place was full up in every location and a big party upstairs. Food was OK but nothing to write home about. Beef carvery was tough and curry was bland and lacking in spices and flavour. Chicken wings were spot on though.

08/07/2025: The worst tiramisu I have ever had. The layer didn't go well. I felt more like eating a dry tiramisu with not properly layered with cream. And the coffee powder sprinkling was so bad. They use the same base for both biscoff and tiramisu.

03/07/2025: Absolutely amazing! Huge portions at a very low price, full of flavour and protein. One sandwich can feed a starving man! Friendly staff and great service in French Tacos– truly impressed. 🌟
