30/11/2025: Gorgeous shop and teas. Was extremely accommodating for an initial misplaced order now their Dreamcatcher tea is an integral part of my nighttime routine. Their products are high quality, well priced, and delivered with excellent service. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: The door staff last tonight seemed irritated with everyone arriving. The security man was abrupt and not very welcoming at all. It made the whole experience start off on the wrong foot

08/03/2026: The experience with the door security was extremely unpleasant and completely unprofessional. The bouncer got angry because he claimed I didn’t say hello, even though I did — he just didn’t hear it. Instead of handling the situation calmly, he reacted with attitude and started arguing, which felt totally unnecessary. It’s surprising that management allows this kind of behaviour at the entrance because it gives a terrible first impression. After reading other reviews, it’s clear that the door security is a recurring complaint from many customers. Between the poor attitude at the door, average unfriendly service from staff and limited food options and drinks, the place feels poorly managed. Management really needs to address the behaviour of their security team because it’s damaging the reputation of the pub. But maybe 🤔 they don't care....

10/08/2025: Visited Route Fourteen with my family for lunch. The food was great, the dining area was spacious, but I have a few points I hope can be considered to improve the service. There were two lunch menus on our visit: one standard lunch menu (same as website) and one specific for the day or week. We ordered from the second menu since they seemed seasonal and more fresh than the regular menu. The prices were similar to other gastropubs around Cork City. I ordered pork belly with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The pork was stuffed with walnuts and dates, a stuffing I would have never thought would taste so nice with pork. Other dishes we had were the "Smash Burger" and Reuben sandwich. We ordered chicken wings with buffalo sauce for starters. Everybody enjoyed their orders but the beef in the Reuben would be better if it was not heated much. For dessert we had a mango and raspberry cheesecake and lemon meringue. Both were presented nicely and tasted amazing. They are best eaten between two people as they are large desserts. We were seated at a bright high table by the window, however we were near a large private booking and I felt a bit under pressure as the staff were setting the tables around us for the arriving diners. Given that the venue was not busy when we arrived, I would have preferred sitting further away from the large group booking. I would highly recommend visiting Route Fourteen on your next day out for lunch or dinner at a gastropub.

30/10/2025: Been ordering from here for nearly 10 years. Never a mishap and never disappointed. Chef recommendations are top notch, fast and pleasant delivery. Really can't recommend them enough.

25/08/2025: Wow, seriously the best Chinese food we've ever had. Ordered the Thai crispy beef, crispy shredded chicken in honey sauce and the sweet & sour pork - all absolutely delicious. Don't normally write reviews but this is an awesome family run restaurant and they deserve all the success.

23/02/2026: Wilton was one of the first shopping centres built in Cork and it is showing its age. A single floor anchored by Tesco at one end and Pennies at the other with a range of businesses between. Its still a one stop shop for most of the time. There is ample parking, Cork University hospital is across the road and both Aldi and Lidl are close by. Access is very good.

16/02/2026: Good center in a good location, right next to the bus station, has good food places, a Dealz and a Tesco, some clothes shops, very handy

19/12/2025: Just had a delicious toasted chicken sandwich and coffee at Food Capers. The chicken was fresh and not the horrible package stuff many places do now. Service was efficient and friendly. Will deffo be back!

29/10/2025: Good atmosphere! The resident cocktail maker was not present but the fella behind the bar did his best and produced some top quality cocktails for us. Staff are incredibly sound.

26/12/2025: Bright Side has become a regular stop in our morning. The staff are always welcoming, the coffee is up there with the best in Cork, and the white chocolate and raspberry muffins are to die for.

09/10/2025: Lovely little spot for a coffee. The service is very friendly and welcoming. Coffee always delicious. I docked a star for the Hallumi bagel because I just thought it tasted a bit odd with the combination of ingredients. It was nice enough but just a bit too sweet with the squash and the caramelised onion relish. I was a little disappointed I hadn’t ordered something else. Aside from that I do enjoy the setup of this cafe it’s bright and airy and nice to sit in.

08/09/2025: Brilliant venue for a small gig It was my first time at this venue and it won't be my last. Monitors where you can't see the performers. Seating is limited so get in early if you're an old fella like me.€6.50 for a pint bottle of Bullmers is very fair for a City centre venue. The only thing I found strange was a plastic container with a glass bottle, But that's venue drinking for you. Definitely highly recommend 💯

30/08/2025: Good venue that gets a good selection/mix of bands. Just saw the lemonheads recently and have seen Mudhoney, Frank Turner, Bob Mould, Buzzco ks, Jello Biafra and many more over the years. Since a makeover the new sound system is much improved from when I first started going in the 90's.

30/10/2025: Update: I made payment for soaps and my money was refunded to me. No reason was given, no response to my message. It may be because of my last review but this experience was worse than the last time. I made payment of the 3rd of October, 2025. The customer care service and response needs to be worked on. More information about delivery(delivery company) used too needs to be given to the client or updated on your website/whatsapp welcome message. I had a terrible experience of being ignored without any update from the person I was chatting with. When I complained the message I got was such a terrible message, where the person responded like she was doing me a favour. You really need to do better. About the product I ordered, there is no doubt about the authenticity of the product I got it. It was exactly what I wanted. It was original, especially since a lot of fakes are in circulation and the price was the best price I saw anywhere. I hope in future I can get more of the product I got and be able to edit/update this review to more favourable experience.
