05/10/2024: I always drop in here for coffee after dropping my child to school, the lady at the counter is really friendly and always has a smiling face, I noticed she is well versed with the menu and is always helpful. its a small cute coffee shop.

23/10/2024: Myself and my wife our the best lamb curry ever in Route 14 last Sunday. We eat out a lot so we know the difference. The staff are excellent … Lisa, Sonya etc all very pleasant and helpful. Amanda the Manageress is very efficient. Highly recommend Route 14 for small and large parties, outings. Excellent establishment.

20/10/2024: Have been a few times. Had a lovely ramen previously but this seems to have gone from the menu. Chicken wings were only ok and quite cold, steak sandwich was cold and ordinary, chowder was just above average. Daughter liked the roast beef and there was plenty of it.

18/11/2024: Best scones in town. Friendly staff and a cozy place to sit down. Might be a bit crowded in the morning, but that is how it is when it's so good.

30/08/2024: Decent coffee but I can no longer give top marks to a shop that profiteers off plant milks. After years as a barista, I know the scam. And this establisment is the WORST gouge thus far at €0.75 surcharge for an oat macchiato, for at most 30-40 milliliters of oatmilk! Let's break this down with their most milk consuming coffee, a standard 2 shot cappuccino with ~100ml of milk/foam. For ease, I'll crunch the numbers ignoring the air volume in the foam: €2.69 per litre for top shelf barista oat milk (Retail price) at 27¢ per cappuccino, a worst case cost scenario. €1.10 per liter for top-shelf whole milk (Retail price), 11¢ per cappuccino, a worst case cost scenario. The price difference is only ¢16 per cappuccino based on retail price (mind you wholesale prices are much less) . Now if you ordered a flat white, cortado or macchiato, you use much less milk per serving, hence a bigger gouge to naive customers with allergies or a conscience. Now bear in mind that 1 litre of cow milk had over 3 times the carbon footprint of oak milk, while using over 10 times more land and water, and causes over 5 times the eutrophication of our waterways (nitrogen waste), greedy businesses such as this are driving the climate and biodiversity crises! So here is your business's chance to be part of the climate solution instead of continuing to be part of the problem! And please stop taking advantage of people with a conscience or medical issue!!

11/08/2024: The perfect cafe in Cork. I dont know why I waited So long to get out to beantown!!! We were feeling a bit fragile after a night out, and Tony and the crew made sure we got the cure we needed. Pancakes and bagels and buckets of tea and matcha and cookies and crossaints were exactly what we needed 😌 The staff are run off their feet because it's so busy but make such a effort to make sure everyone feels like they are getting all their attention. Our American friend says their the best bagels In Cork! Highly recommend.

28/10/2024: lovely little place. went in as a teabag-only beginner and felt very welcome. the owner (I think) spent a few minutes explaining the different teas, and I went home with a lovely "Silk Way" white tea and a cute little teacup. the tea itself turned out to be on the mark, not too strong but with a gentle aroma perfect to relax will definitely come back once I run out

14/11/2024: We had a lovely meal here. When we first entered we were the only one's there but it didn't put us off and within 30mins it was bunged to the hilt.

28/10/2024: I had a wonderful experience at Lulu's @ the Lough. The food is great and I was welcomed with kindness and a smile. This a dog friendly place its beautiful to see dogs and their humans chilling to a very relaxed environment! Highly recommended! 👏

17/11/2024: I don't know how I haven't left a review until now. This is my absolute favourite restaurant in Cork if not overall. Every time I come here it's a treat. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious. I can't praise Luigi Malone's enough. I highly recommend this to anyone, from couples to families, to dining alone or with friends. I always have a perfect night. Thanks so much.

15/11/2024: We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant. The atmosphere was beautifully decorated and comfortable, the service was attentive, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the salad and mushrooms as starters. The lasagna and ribs were absolutely outstanding, and the desserts – the chocolate cake with ice cream and the cheesecake – were light and the perfect way to end the meal. I look forward to returning soon to try the pizzas, which looked absolutely delicious.
