The best restaurants in Cork

13/06/2026: Had breakfast here this morning. Delicious. Very reasonable prices and a great selection. Service was very welcoming and friendly. The irony of me visiting this morning is that it was my first time here and have discovered in the meantime it is closing tomorrow. Very disappointed to hear this as this was a place I'd definitely have gone back to again.

18/05/2026: Great bar, staff lovely, fantastic atmosphere, plenty of seating, perfect for watching that match as loads of tvs and while I was there a spontaneous music session started It was great

29/08/2026: this was our fist time drinking in Cork and Steve made sure to make it just the best time!! absolutely lovely vibes, amazing cocktails and just a beautiful establishment overall! we don't live near but thanks to the amazing kindness and professionalism of Steve we will make sure to come back and try the cusine as well! cheers from Andrea and Maria! ☘️

26/08/2026: We had a very good meal here. I can definitely recommend the Yaki Udon! The waiter was also very friendly and attentive (he even took our personal preferences into account).

13/06/2026: Very good japanese restaurant, one of the best i ever been in. The service was fast.

10/08/2026: I'm speaking from experience about the apartment, and it has an excellent location. The hosts are attentive and friendly; they even booked a taxi for me. The apartment meets all your needs. It is a bit noisy, at least on Saturday nights, but that's the risk you take with the bar downstairs. Everything was very clean.

10/07/2026: Drove 45 minutes from home to get a box of cakes for my family and stopped by to get a cup of coffee. The apple square is perfect with a cup of tea or coffee. Lovely staff and nice variety of freshly made food. Kept my box of cakes in the fridge until I was ready to leave. Well worth the travel. Thank you so much! 😄

13/06/2026: Absolutely the best bakery and deli. The sandwich’s are outstanding absolutely outstanding. All staff here are amazing and very friendly people. The cakes are delicious I got my partners cake here for 30th. Definitely the best sandwich in Cork by far.

03/08/2026: Still hasn't changed since the 80s, hopefully it never will. Edit, its now 2026 and I called in for a 2 pints , just remember that I first visited this pub in 1985, as I was able too. It has been the centre of my writing my nostalgic visits, even during during my cancer fight. And I was chatting to the lady serving me, then this bearded langer, who is a staff member decided to give his tuppence aggressively and ignorantly and hes 42.....when I asked why the answer was " I added it up" ..... Ill always be grateful its there, but I was one of 5 and a bearded langer thinking he was intelligent. Im from Cork City, alas Ill never go again

24/07/2026: Wow! What a pub! Peter and his lovely colleague made me and my daughter feel so welcome. Lots of fun banter and great pints of Murphys! Don’t miss this gem!

29/05/2026: I enjoyed superb service from the two wonderful girls working here yesterday. They were extremely polite, courteous and helpful. I enjoyed my conversation with them and their advice was helpful. The gift I purchased for the woman whose baby shower it was at the River Lee Hotel was delighted with the choice of chocolates, this being entirely due to the assistance of Aisling (with a G) and Amelia. These delightful young women are a credit to the company. Peace 🙏🏾

26/08/2026: I’m so excited to go back here! I think the price matches the quality of ingredients, staff are friendly and timely as-well as the food. The only negative thing about our 3rd visit was our eggs weren’t runny, that being said - it was delicious. Great coffee and fresh orange juice. I can’t wait to have eggs royale from here again- best I’ve ever had in all of Cork. Also, it would be great to have a cushion on the chair they’re quite hard, feel very office IKEA-like.

24/08/2026: Great little place by city hall. Delicious coffee. Open, light filled space with books and artwork. Lovely staff and quick service. Very reasonable prices.

07/08/2026: Food is well priced and excellent. Bonus if you eat or drink outside, you get the brilliant music from the fountain pub which is well worth a visit.

06/08/2026: We saw this bar while we were shopping in Cork & I'm very glas we did. The lady who seated us was very helpful. The food was lovely. I had ciabatta chicken which was lovely. Although highly recommended

04/08/2026: Will definitely be back. A large group of us, service was excellent and food was great.

02/08/2026: We went to have a snack. We shared a large dish of mussels and a pizza which were superb. We then shared the salmón dish on rice - also superb. The water provided was also excellent. Staff were patient and pleasant. The only Black Mark was the appalling state of the Gents loo.....

09/07/2026: Lovely staff, beautiful spot for a coffee. Gluten free bread for sandwiches

16/06/2026: Lovely café with friendly service. We wandered around for ages trying to find it. Please put up a big sign on the road 😊
