28/12/2025: Cosy bar to have drinks with friends. The pizza place at the back was open so we ordered some and they serve us very quickly.

19/01/2026: Arrived late on Sunday for carvery (14:30) and both ordered roast beef. Food was not much more than lukewarm. This isn’t the first time that has happened. Place was dead although there was rugby and soccer being shown there was no volume and no background music even so atmosphere was lacking. Maybe it was just a typical dreary day in January but not tempted to go back soon sadly.

03/01/2026: One of the best places in Cork for me to sit down and drink some beer and eat some food. Have many good memories here.

04/10/2025: Mahers Pure Coffee is a lovely cafe in the middle of the city. We came in to purchase coffee and equipment. They havewide selection of items for making coffee. They have a lovely coffee selection as well. We bought their hazelnut coffee, which is super popular. The team was friendly enough... The smell of coffee is very nice. I could stay there for a good while. It is downtown and central. They are wheelchair accessible. There is wheelchair accessible parking nearby.

29/12/2025: Was in a couple of days prior to Christmas. Belting atmosphere. Had 3 packets of scampi fries as an accompaniment to the Guinness so feel the food rating is fair.

18/12/2025: Amazing cozy place. Great menu and fantastic service. I tried their quesadillas and fries ! It was fantastic. Pink lemonade was also soo good. Ended by meal with the best apple crumble.

11/11/2025: Generous food portions and great service! We visited on a rainy day, so we ended up sitting indoors, but the atmosphere was still lovely. Would love to come back and try the terrace seating next time; it looks like the perfect spot to enjoy a nice meal with a view.

The menu offers comforting classics done well, and the warm pub-style setting makes it a place you’ll want to come back to. I chose the grilled steak with pepper sauce and chips, and it was delicious! I highly recommend this place for its comfort and the friendly vibe of the staff.

13/11/2025: The worst fish and chips I had in Cork. Just big slice of fish, no lemon, black pepper, some parts too thick. Overal tasteless experience.

11/08/2025: Has to be a solid 5 star. It’s reasonably cheap but good quality and reliable. There are three outlets in central locations in the city. Always tasty and quick. Recommended for a quick snack at lunchtime or after a few drinks in the evening.

11/07/2025: Quick and friendly service. We love coming here for a slice or two after a being out in the pub. Had the margherita and veg slices and they were great.

26/11/2025: Aisling was an exemplary employee, and helped me sort out a beautiful artisanal collection ylof chocolates. Without her help, I would have been lost in the simply sumptuous sea of chocolates.

24/01/2026: We came on Saturday for dinner for two. Nice tables, plenty of space, but the food is the same as everywhere else in Cork; we didn't notice anything Mexican. The restroom isn't very clean, but the staff are pleasant.

31/12/2025: Now, THiS is how you do a carvery lunch. Chef Donal’s generous portions, loads of choice of meats ( or fish) on the menu, plentiful supply of veg and types. 25 euro for main course carvery selection and dessert. Equally large choice of desserts to choose from. Fully serviced bar with huge selection of local and international brews and drinks available. Sport enthusiasts have the big screens to watch if interested which are on low volume during lunch. The staff are super friendly from the front door to service and kitchen. The venue were very accommodating of our wheel- chair guest in our party. There is loads of parking outside. We came in, in the height of Sunday carvery lunch at 1.30pm without a reservation and were seated in minutes despite the restaurant being bustling with punters. Wow, wow, wow.

14/12/2025: We had my husband's 40th here and booked the private room. Food was fantastic and the lady on the saxophone was unbelievable. Great atmosphere and staff were all lovely.

03/11/2025: The loveliest girl found my scarf and gave it to me even after serving so many people all night!! What a star!!
