The best restaurants in Cork

06/08/2025: The restaurant is very beautiful and stylish and the food is amazing, the sushi is fresh and wonderful, they are big rolls too. 🍜🥟🍱can only recommend this place for anyone who likes Japanese cuisine and I would say this place beats the other sushis in town. 🍱

25/07/2025: My Mam and I came here for lunch recently - I had a gluten free toasted special sandwich and she had the chicken stuffing sandwich, both served with chips. Both our meals were delicious and we found the staff very helpful too.

05/08/2025: 1 star because you can't give it 0. The worst eggs of my life, not poached at all, were hard-boiled eggs with a terrible, super-sour hollandaise sauce. I couldn't finish them. It also took a long time to serve us, and they gave us our coffee in takeaway cups, all for the modest price of €38 for two breakfasts of bad eggs with coffee.

03/08/2025: I had a very nice breakfast here, very cool decor. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They have loads of choice, I had the full Irish, there was a lot there. The American pancakes looked very nice also.

05/08/2025: We had lunch at this lovely restaurant and were absolutely blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the great number of vegan and gluten-free options. We had the vegan lasagna (be careful, its very hot), the gluten-free pizza and two pasta dishes. Everything tasted great and the service was phenomenal as well. We finished our wonderful meal with two espresso and hope to come back very soon :)

01/08/2025: We had a delightful lunch here with our family. The service was polished yet warm, with staff who were attentive and genuinely welcoming. The setting was calm, elegantly styled, and impeccably clean. Each dish was full of authentic flavour, served in generous portions and presented with care. The iced Thai tea stood out rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. A complimentary plate of fresh cherries added a thoughtful and personal touch. Even my father in law, who rarely praises food, was genuinely impressed by the tamarind prawns. We left feeling satisfied and well looked after, and we’re already planning to return to explore more of the menu. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic Thai flavours with refined service.

17/08/2025: We spent about €45 for three dishes and two beers. We came here on a Saturday night without too many expectations, and yet it was exceptional! The food was truly delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was the icing on the cake. People were drinking and having fun all over the street, and after eating, we went right next door to listen to a band play. Fantastic! If you're passing through Cork, it's a must-see.

23/04/2025: My favourite Pub in town!!! Super friendly Staff!!! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a great selection of beers at fair prices. It’s always a pleasure to stop by! I do miss the Cotton Ball beers (hope it makes a return soon)! Overall, just a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a drink.

12/06/2025: They have the best coffee! We've been buying our coffee beans from them for a while now and they never disappoint. All the beans we've tried have been delicious, prices are reasonable, and the order processing and delivery times can't be beat.

25/05/2025: I friend of mine got me a hazelnut Flavoured coffee from you guys recently. It was super. I decided to order a 1kg bag since we have a new born in the house and depend has increased.

09/08/2025: Nice atmosphere, authentic background music, complimentary bites of bread offered on arrival. Great selection on the menu, we stayed with the Italian selection and had pizza & pasta, both delicious. Service was outstanding, lovely guys running this place, natural, welcoming & funny. Overall a lovely evening. Will definitely return.

03/08/2025: Food quality is very high quality here is coriander. Personally recommend the the tandoori chicken, the lamb shank or the lamb chops. But the winner dish is the vegetable bhaji. One of the most underrated restaurants in Cork.

07/07/2025: Bitesize, the heart of Ballincollig. With the majority of places closed on a busy Monday morning, Bitesize doors are open to welcome you with open arms. The staff are absolutely lovely and the coffee is probably the nicest in the town. Don’t mind Starbucks who charge 7.99 for a creamy vanilla iced pumpkin pie latte and don’t mind Priory who couldn’t make instant coffee if the kettle was already boiled for them. Bite size is the place to be.
