13/05/2025: I have been here a few times and the atmosphere is always great . The place is dog friendly too which is amazing for when I bring my dog . The food was of great quality and very tasty with lots of options to choose from . The staff were lovely I believe her name was Megan who served me and she went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied with everything . I would definitely recommend

29/04/2025: I go at least once a week for a coffee and scone/croissant/cake you name it and it's always great quality. Even better atmosphere with the recent extension for more seating and makes the entire cafe much bigger and less clustered than before. Staff is always on point regardless the situation and always friendly. Keep it up best cafe in the area.

29/05/2025: The fish and chips were pretty bad - fish was really greasy like the fryer wasn’t hot enough. For the price would expect better food preparation.

13/03/2025: Estaba en Cork por negocios y Thali saltó como restaurante nepalés. Me encanta un curry de cordero nepalí y Mo mos. Estaba llegando tarde, así que tomé un curry y arroz para llevar de vuelta al hotel. El curry de cordero era tan bueno, muy bien especiado y un buen nivel de calor. Debería haber sido codicioso y añadido mo mos. Tal vez la próxima vez.

04/05/2025: Went for a meal here 2 nights ago during the day very big place inside, very busy , i got the chicken pasta dish it was lovely good size portion loads of chicken in it very tasty my partner got the feather blade beef it was a bit expensive at 30 euro but when came out was well work it it was a good portion 3 big thick slices of beef so soft it just fell apart on the plate it came with mash and veg he struggled to finish it well worth a visit nice atmosphere was seated straight away and didnt wait too long for the food

13/11/2024: I cannot stress enough, how amazing the Foxglove team and company is. When my husband and I held a wedding reception at the Baltimore Sailing Club, Tara and Rory worked with us to create a tailored cocktail menu -- and made everything as easy and simple as could be. Not only that, they created custom cocktail toppers with my husband and my names, as well as specialty menus and theming. This was such a wonderful surprise on the day, and my family, who flew over from the States, was equally as excited. Foxglove and the cocktails incorporated such an intimate, special element to the day. Not only that, Tara and Rory and the full Foxglove team are not only consummate professionals, they are kind, funny, and bring such joy to every interaction. The drinks themselves are incredible -- they've made even the most complex drinks that most bartenders would turn to stone if you ordered them into something that is efficient and delicious each and every time. My mom, who doesn't drink liquor and prefers wine, legitimately said it was the only martini should would be drinking from there on out. I'm incredibly lucky to have sampled multiple iterations of Foxglove at different weddings, engagement parties, and events, and quite literally look forward to each and every time. I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly unique and fun this company and its team are. Run, don't walk, to make sure you book for your event. You will not be disappointed. In fact, I'm 100% positive you will feel the same way, and equally want to gush about what an amazing company and team this is.

18/08/2024: The best pizza in Ireland. These folks know what they’re doing. Super friendly too. We asked for a Garlic Cheese Pizza bread which isn’t something that was on the menu and they made it fresh with raw garlic and suggested adding a bit of olive oil too. It was 12 out of 10!! Thanks folks!

22/05/2025: Stopped by Soma 2 after dropping off clients in Cork, a real gem of a spot! As a professional chauffeur with Titanium Life Chauffeurs, I’m always on the lookout for places that are quick, comfortable, and serve quality food — this one checks all the boxes. Had their ham & cheese toastie and a cappuccino, both were excellent. The toastie was perfectly crisp and the coffee had that rich, smooth finish with great latte art. Also tried a slice of red velvet cake — soft, fresh, and delicious. The place is bright, clean, and welcoming, with plenty of parking in the back, which is a big bonus when you’re in a hurry. Staff were super friendly and service was fast — ideal for a quick lunch stop while on the road. Highly recommend it to fellow drivers, locals, and anyone passing through Cork! 📸 (Photo attached – says it all.)
