20/11/2025: Cool café right on the River Lee with some outdoor tables. Delicious, handmade pastries and excellent coffee. Friendly service behind the counter. It was very noisy during our visit because a large group of young tourists was also in the very small space... but that shouldn't be the norm!

31/12/2025: I got a takeaway americano here. The coffee is good but the staff couldn’t be less interested as one of their friends was there. €3.40 for the smallest cup is definitely up there in cost as coffee goes.
30/12/2025: The coffee was excellent and the service was very good. Asking for a tip on the pay machine is over the top though.

10/06/2026: Fantastic experience at Bocelli! The ribeye steak was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. A special thanks to Gabriel for his excellent service and wine recommendation, which paired beautifully with the steak. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!
10/06/2026: Such a lovely meal at Bocelli. The olives were incredibly tasty, and the steak was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Everything was full of flavour and clearly made with care. We left happy and looking forward to coming back.

06/06/2026: Gorgeous, cozy, eclectic cafe! Dog friendly too which is incredible. They have dog treats, dog water bowls and a designated water tap for doggo water refills.
The staff are so friendly and the coffee is great. They have lots of sweet treats. I didnt get a chance to look at their full menu.
With a park accross the road, this is a great stop to come with you doggo 💚🌿🐾

08/10/2025: Really delicious meal. Seafood chowder and cauliflower steak were both excellent. My wife enjoyed her Indian, though the naan was sub par. Nice space too.
05/10/2025: Very nicely decorated. Friendly service. Really tasty food. The signature pie was amazing, as were the glazed root vegetables. Would gladly come back!

05/05/2026: I used to order from here often, especially the rice, and it was always great. Lately, though, the quality has dropped a lot. The rice is bland, overly sticky, and seems like it’s not even freshly made - more like porridge than proper rice.
Not sure what changed, but it’s disappointing, especially considering the price. I won’t be ordering again and don’t recommend this place.

24/05/2026: Attended a birthday party here. The venue was great inside and out. The toilets were clean. The staff were friendly.
22/05/2026: I love the new look Briar Rose and the new lunch menu is really good. I had the pastrami with sauerkraut on sourdough bread and it was delicious. I had a sneaky look at the dinner menu and I'm definitely going back for the Tomahawk Steak.
