11/10/2026: This place is a joke. Advertise that they show sports, and when a table of 6 come to watch sport they say “we can’t change the Channel, we have a schedule”. They have 10 tvs and zero people are here to watch the fa cup replay from 5 months ago, or the last 5 minutes of the real betis vs osasuna la liga match. Absolute joke
10/10/2026: Love this place and I'm not even a massive beer lover. It has a great atmosphere and really friendly staff. They do a good pizza also

04/10/2026: This was a favorite stop of ours on our road trip. The pizza was amazing! I had the piccola diavola. It was delicious. My boyfriend had the margherita and really enjoyed his, too. We ate outside. It was busy, but also very relaxing for us.
02/10/2026: Let no one say they don't know how to make pizza outside of Italy, because this one was amazing. I chose the ingredients myself because the other options didn't entirely convince me, and I was happy with that. There's only one dessert, and it's a bit pricey but good. Maybe it would have been better if the crusts had been a little thinner so there would have been more for those who leave them.

01/09/2026: The food was delicious. The restaurant was quite empty, but we were served very quickly and courteously. We received a small complimentary treat from the kitchen and our food arrived promptly. I can't comment on the pizza, but the pasta was very tasty.
If we were in the area more often, we would definitely eat here more often.
31/07/2026: Passing through the area, we stopped at this small restaurant tucked away in an alley. Excellent, authentic pasta carbonara and cannelloni. Quite generous portions. Pleasant and attentive service. I recommend it.

24/10/2026: Had a lovely early evening meal, with the nicest Savignon Blanc served in a tall glass type bottle, very cute. Service was excellent & friendly. Had an Espresso Martini to finish off. Highly recommend!
17/10/2026: Great place to eat, the chicken wings are insanely good. I opted for the lasagne for mains but wasn’t a huge fan of I’m honest. My partner had the Parmesan cod and loved it.

29/09/2026: Visiting from Canada, and looking for a temporary local, saw the high ratings. They are deserved. This is a charming pub, with several different quiet spots to settle for a drink. Fires lit on a cold evening - wonderful! Lovely, warm staff.
09/08/2026: A lovely old pub on the hill.
Filled with locals and draft beer.
No food was available, though.
Will visit again!

07/10/2026: I ordered the bacon and maple pancakes which were delicious along with a coffee which I must say might be the best in Cork. The prices were very reasonable and staff were lovely. You can look out onto the beautiful views of the harbour mouth.

10/10/2026: Fantastic food, great service and great for coeliacs. My family, including 5 coeliacs, had a fab time at the restaurant last evening. The food was scrumptious! I highly recommend the gluten free pizzas. Gf pasta is available too, and the chunky chips....yum. Great Italian food and great gluten free options for everything. The staff are lovely, knowledgeable and helped make it a special birthday meal for my daughter. We will be back.
