06/06/2025: Hands down, our favorite spot in town. The food and atmosphere at The Black Pig are always top-notch. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service is consistently excellent. This place is an absolute must if you're visiting Kinsale!

27/05/2025: First dinner in Kinsale and Ireland and it was incredible.We were sat at a table in the covered terrace by the big open fireplace.The cooked oysters lobster and black sole were perfectly cooked so fresh - even the green salad was a highlight with the mix of leaves and dressing and such friendly efficient staff

26/05/2025: The food was ok although Fishy Fishy across the harbor is much better. The hake was good and salad was fresh. Nothing out of the ordinary or extraordinary.

17/05/2025: Impeccable breakfast, seriously the best breakfast and possibly the best food so far. Ordered the open salmon toast breakfast. It came with a perfectly dressed micro green salad, the smoked salmon and toast were excellent as well. I got the full plate that came with poached eggs and halloumi as well. Halloumi was nice and lightly salty and well grilled. The eggs were either made by someone who actually likes poached eggs or has been well trained. No water, excess egg white gone, slightly runny yolk. Best poached eggs I have had outside my own kitchen. The service was friendly and the iced coffee was delicious. They also have a counter which was nice for a solo traveler to not feel bad about taking up an entire table. I will be back before leaving Kinsale!

05/06/2025: Highly recommended! We have dined at No. 19 on numerous occasions and have been delighted every time. The food, staff and ambiance are outstanding. Sarah is warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the wine selection and menu. Chef Cristian prepares absolutely wonderful dishes. My husband had a ribeye on our last visit that he deemed one of the best he's ever had. With advance warning, Chef Cristian also prepares delicious off-menu vegan dishes for me on every visit, offering me different selections on different visits...all fabulous! The ambiance in the building is lovely and we particularly enjoy the table my the fireplace. Don't miss the chance to dine at No. 19! Bill and Barbie Kelly

08/05/2025: We had a fabulous meal that we won't soon forget. There were 8 of us and the service was perfect. Our steaks were so tasty and the sides were delicious.

29/04/2025: This is no ordinary restaurant as the staff's friendliness,knowledge and and all round level of service, plus the quality of the food enjoyed by all in my party made our visit a dining experience. You will not regret eating here.

13/06/2025: If you go to Kinsale you must visit the Bulman. Amazing food, staff and atmosphere. I could have stayed here all day.

11/06/2025: Excellent pub atmosphere and service: however I was appallingly ill despite choosing from the GF menu which surprised me; either flour was used in the rib sauce or contamination occurred on frying of the chips. Shame because it felt confident about its allergen safe offering. Be careful.

30/05/2025: Visited Lemon Leaf in mid May with a friend for brunch. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I am coeliac so was hopeful for a few options. I had a Caesar salad ,€17, without croutons , with their own gluten free dressing. It was delicious. My friend had scrambled egg and toast...€12 ..bacon is an extra €3 !! It looked just about OK. However, I was sorry that I hadn't visually checked out the gluten free coffee and walnut " cake" before I ordered it. I was expecting slice of the usual type of gluten free gateau I have experienced elsewhere, but this turned out to be a slice of a shallow tray bake and the texture was not like a cake...more like a solid mousse and at € 5.80 was very bad value, even for gluten free! I do hope Lemon Leaf take note and try to find a better option. The GF brownie that my friend had was lovely and better value at €4.50. A total bill for breakfast including the above and coffees was €46.80, tip not included. Am I out of touch thinking we paid a lot for what we had?

18/05/2025: We stayed in the townhouse and it was perfect for extra town. The cafe was great for breakfast!!!! Michelle was a pleasure to work with and made us feel at home. Highly recommend Lemon Tree Cafe ☕️

16/06/2025: Dropped by for an impromptu lunch on a weekday walking back into town from Charles Fort. Everything was delicious. Portions were generous and they had plenty of options for a member of our party with some dietary restrictions (GF, V). Service was prompt and friendly. I would eat there again without hesitation.
