The best restaurants in Dublin

18/07/2026: Good Food, Good Service, Good Value. This is exactly what a cafe/restaurant should be and what has become so difficult to find. The food is excellent with a great variety across the menu, and the best chips I’ve had in a long time. The service was friendly, genuine, efficient, attentive, and professional. There was the correct number of good staff, looking to serve the patrons, as opposed to the more recent trend of an excess of staff that actively avoid eye contact and leave you frustrated. The food was served on properly sized plates, which again is something that has become harder to find. Too many restaurants have picked the plates and cups first because of the aesthetic, and not factored will the food fit on it. The focus at Cafe Monto is clearly the food first and then having appropriate tableware, not tableware that looks good on instagram but is not functional. Finally, for the first time in a long time I felt that I paid an appropriate amount for what I received. This is the very fundamentals of dining out done right, something that has all but disappeared from Dublin in recent years, and I cannot recommend Cafe Monto enough.

30/07/2026: Solid chipper, nice chicken fillet burger meal, garlic sauce was good, cod meal , very fresh and excellent real cod !!! Mild Curry sauce was epic old school !! 0 complaints. Very good chipper.

04/07/2026: Honestly,, BBQ tonight is a amazing restaurant across UAE and Qatar but in Dublin,,, I was surprised with the food quality, ambience and services. No further comments ... But please look deep and serve limited food but with quality.... I know for the fact that the cost in Dublin is not cheap but I'm sure you can manage...

29/06/2026: Lovely takeaway with delicious pizza and quick service. It's nice to treat yourself to a takeaway from time to time, and this is definitely a great place to do it. A special thanks to Arslan, who makes amazing pizzas. You can really tell he puts care into his work. Highly recommended! 🍕

22/07/2026: A gem of a Deli. My self and my brothers have been coming here since January if this year. The coffee is terrific and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely selection of pastries and scones. Fantastic selection of sandwiches and wraps freshly made on the premises. It can be busy but the staff are very efficient so never s long wait. Past if what makes Dublin great.

27/09/2025: Chicken skewers that need very little cooking … raw 😡😡😡😡 if you can’t cook a simple chicken skewer they shouldn’t be open. I’ll follow up if I’m ill later … disgusting 🤢

04/10/2025: Always serving delicious very well balanced, perfectly cooked breakfast and lunch. Today's brunch with brisket beef on real sourdough, eggs and Japanese flavours is another great taste and value example!

06/06/2026: Staff incredibly nice and everything was tasty. We got cherry lemonade, matcha and 2 muffins. Overall atmosphere was chill, but unfortunately they didn’t have forks at a time, so we’ve got spoons

10/05/2026: Excellent hotel, centrally located and very well connected. The staff were very friendly, especially Paula who helped us with the booking at all times.

24/02/2026: Dublin has tons of hotels. Save yourself the time digging through options and just book this one, the area is Central. Safe. Staff is awesome. Ger who is the concierge extraordinaire will make sure your stay is perfect!

09/06/2026: Went up with the family for Kerbs BBQ dinner evenings. Great service and food was amazing. Would highly recommend if you get a chance this summer.

21/07/2026: Ordered full breakfast. Price €9.95. Egg was cold and rubber. Rashers were cold and rock hard. Bread was stale and cold. Hash brown was cold and soggy. Definitely won’t be returning.

26/06/2026: I went to this café in the Temple Bar area and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the iced coffee I had. Special mention to the friendliness of the barista Nataly, a Brazilian who served us. 🏆👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Approved place ✅

21/05/2026: Lovely cafe to stumble upon. We were looking for hot chocolate but the ice-cream caught our eye and was perfect. Sat outside and there was no rush to give up the table, nice and relaxed. The girl from Brazil that served us was so lovely and helpful
