The best restaurants in Dublin

20/08/2025: Just a very pleasant place to eat and relax awhile - very nice staff and good atmosphere.

14/08/2025: I’ll start by saying, you can sit where you want and they call your name to collect your order. It’s tucked away in the corner of where woodies and maxizoo is and it’s a cute spot, they’ve too sheltered outdoor areas and multiple seating options fully outside if that suits you better. The staff are super friendly and helpful when ordering and they make sure you understand. It’s not that expensive compared to other cafes either. I find a lot of other places can be extortionate but this all priced fairly. We only had French toast so I can’t judge the whole menu but it was nice, my only issue was the amount of maple syrup was scabby, I ran out and was eating dry french toast quite quickly. The bacon was nice but could be crispier. The fruit was nice but it’s obviously prepared as it’s mushy and leaking juice. I’d prefer just fresh fruit. Other than that it’s a great place and clearly popular by the amount of people who came in during the short time we were there.

03/11/2025: I was in need of a cozy place and i hit the perfect spot. I got the duck ramen and was delicious. The lady attending me was very gentle. I’ll go again!! Thank you so much!

22/10/2025: The food was okay — the ramen tasted fine, but the restaurant was really dirty. The tables were sticky, the floor wasn’t clean, and the overall hygiene just made it hard to enjoy the meal. It’s a pity because the food itself isn’t bad, but the place really needs to pay more attention to cleanliness.

26/09/2025: This is a lovely cafe. Very clean and well looked after with excellent service. Great coffee, but also great food, which is a rare combination, as most cafes offer you ham & cheese and BLT. Food here is very nicely cooked and presented. Highly recommended.

18/09/2025: Excellent service and variety of food is very good and tasty. However the Prices have been significantly Increased and regretfully our 10 year relationship has been terminated as a result.. Pity!

27/10/2025: Started great- with really good customer service. They don’t have any vanilla/caramel syrup but have hibiscus- something about how the owner is very proud of the coffee and wants people to taste it. Also, they make their own ketchup etc- this is all ridiculous if you ask me. Syrups in coffees work from a business perspective (I have managed numerous coffee shops in Dublin) and Heinz, Chef & Blenders already perfected ketchup, so there’s no need for this guy to try. The açaí bowl was flavorless, peanut butter was bland, and we were rushed out TWICE by a us waitress who told us she was really tired, but there were about 15 other people there who weren’t rushed. Poor food for a lot of money (€12 for a glass bowl of granola & blended fruit!)- been here about 6 times and this time did it. Won’t be back.

26/10/2025: A buzzing Rathmines crowd in Melbourian style Café, that serves top-tier coffee... "The Spanish Affair" (nickname by Me 😉) was my chosen delight and it didn’t disappoint. Vibes mathched by the crew's energy. Lost one star for the unlabelled pastries (mystery pastries aren’t always fun), but I’ll be back soon to uncover the dessert section. ⭐⭐⭐⭐✩

05/12/2025: Male staff would want to learn some customer service skills and manners. Spoke to me like a pig. Never coming here again.

25/09/2025: The food is really good and looks and tastes freshly made. I usually go for the chicken curry and the chicken is nice and tender and doesn’t have that stale and hard feel to it. The portion is very generous and the staff is really friendly. I’ve been eating at Lean Bean one a week for over a year and their food is consistently good and is relatively affordable and healthy. I definitely recommend it!

26/08/2025: The coffee from here has gone downhill. All you can taste is warm milk. You cannot taste the coffee at all. We got an iced mocha and it had loads of chocolate grains at the bottom. Also got a cappuccino and it was bad. Ive given this place a few chances recently but I can't anymore.

29/09/2025: As a regular visitor to Butlers in Ballsbridge I’m writing this review as a very disappointed customer. I order extra hot, hot chocolate. Nearly every time I receive it ,it’s lukewarm. Not even hot. It’s either far too milky or too much lumps of chocolate. The staff need more training and the outdoor seating area is often very dirty .

13/09/2025: Terrible experience. Always been a huge fan of Butler’s but that particular branch is a let down! The staff was rude & inattentive plus the place was filled with flies and mosquitoes 🦟. The caramel macchiato I had, was served cold and 2 flies landed in my cup when it was half filled. Never going there ever again.

28/10/2025: Nicest pizza out of all the chippers in the area and the staff are great crack to have a chat and buzz with.

16/11/2025: Very nice food. Quite expensive however. Would especially recommend the Posh Pickle Sandwich. Also the tomato soup. Very nice spot at the Luas station. Would visit again.

15/11/2025: First time in a Pret A Manger, the coffee definitely isn't the best, although I enjoyed my ginger shot. The seating is nice with places for people working and others socializing. The real winner though was the young lady running the register first thing this Saturday morning. Excellent service, friendly, and just a very nice smiling face first thing without being too much energy before you get your coffee!Not sure of her name, but hopefully management is delighted with her.

18/03/2025: Of all the restaurants I've tried, the prices are unjustified given the mediocre quality. Very disappointed.
