The best restaurants in Dublin

10/11/2024: Popped in here for a couple of coffees as I was in the area, left with a box of cakes too.

31/10/2024: When you are entering you can see and feel space but at the same time you can seating separately in the boxes. That is really good for a company or couples. Then you feel cold and looking around you are noticing that everyone is seating with coats on. The place is not heated and very cold. Then you are realising that there is no table servise at all even you can see at least 5 staff behind the counter. This is really needs to be improved. Nobody will come to your table to clean it up until you are leaving. Food was cold and we asked to warm it or heat it, and it’s overpriced for what you are getting. There is some choice of bakery and maybe this is the best what you can get from this place. Positive things - there’s a huge car parking but nothing else from this place. Hope it will be reviewed and improved.

29/10/2024: This place is really good. The staff is nice and clean inside. The food is perfect for Korean tastes. I want to eat Mapa tofu next time I come! (+Rice is extra!)

27/09/2024: Tasty enough, open at late hours was an advantage, nice staff, tasty kimchi. I wish they would bring food together & not first ready first serve!

19/09/2024: After 10 loyal years something has changed at Nespresso Ireland! Phone support is never answered after 48 minutes waiting everyday for 1 week …effectively none-existent. What’s App support is none-existent. Live on-line chat is also effectively none existent. Your only choice is to drive to Dublin or Cork and enter a shop to speak to a salesperson. My new machine is broken after 2 months. Unfortunately I have to abandon Nespresso now. I will switch to DeLonghi or even a a large but simple Bialetti stove-top. Nespresso is a company with self-destruct management now. Goodbye Nespresso!

14/11/2024: Delightfully crispy chicken in the snack box, chips are fluffy but a little under done for me. Place is spotless and service is prompt , definitely a great place to get supper / lunch while waiting for nct

27/10/2024: Been going for years but notice lately the food standard seems to be slipping.. had food from here this week and it was sub par. The chips were like warm and sweaty and more bits than chips. . The cod portion is much smaller. The prices have increased. It was disappointing as it’s always been a great chipper.

14/11/2024: I’ve been over 30 times in this deli, it is the best place to get awesome sandwiches and pastries 🥰 Personal recommendations: Italian Job, Chicken Delight and a chocolate muffin 😇

15/11/2024: Kays was always a place you would go to eat but the standard has dropped dramatically the service very slow even when it's not busy sad to see its gone so bad

02/11/2024: Spend a great few hours here with family and friends to celebrate my Nieces birthday. Wonderful cocktails and lovely staff of which when found out it was Millie’s birthday presented her with a dessert and sang for her. We email reserved the table as there was 7 of us to ensure we could get in. One of our party is having a baby and the cocktail they prepared for her was in every way the exact same as the alcoholic versions. They really looked after us. We chose this place as I have previously stopped at the hotel adjoining.

21/10/2024: Busy pub because of location in temple bar

08/11/2024: I would strongly advise against booking here. I was charged a 100€ deposit when making a reservation, with the promise that it would be refunded within 4-5 days after my visit. It’s now been over three weeks, and despite multiple follow-ups, I still haven’t received my money back. Each time I reach out, they offer empty apologies and assurances—but nothing actually gets done. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, this level of service is completely unacceptable. I expected basic professionalism, not to be strung along with excuses. This experience has been both frustrating and disappointing, and until they show real accountability in handling customer deposits, I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone.

16/08/2024: A bit expensive for its location and serve in only paper cups with no indoor seating. Unfortunately there is no other independent coffee shop nearby enough.

20/08/2024: It’s nice that it’s there, staff is nice and location (Trinity College grounds, not where google map points you). Coffee was ok at best (cappuccino was too milky), pastries were fine, but not as good as other options in the area. Prices were too high for what it was.
