The best restaurants in Dublin

18/06/2025: Hi, I’m Celiac, it’s great to get good grub and Yes I’m big into Shop Local.

08/04/2025: I only came in here on spec for the first time this month whilst on a holiday home to Ireland from Australia. Had a quick drink at the lovely 108 in Rathgar for old time’s sake, then just popped in here for a quick bite afterwards. I was just going to get a takeaway but when I saw the nice set up of their little place with couches and everything, I decided to sit down and eat there instead. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal of Singapore Noodles with Chicken and Vegetarian Spring Rolls. Nearly licked the bowl clean! And the lady I ordered from was so lovely and friendly. So, about a week later, I popped in and did the same thing again. This time I had the Chicken Pad Thai which was equally yummy. As with all places like this, they, more often than not, get judged on their takeaway and delivery food which is impossible to serve at the same standard as sit down service. Though I’ve no doubt this place does better than most in that regard. But, as always, the best way to enjoy food is piping hot, served to your table and, in this regard, I can’t fault them at all!! Just yum!

15/10/2025: Really great transportation Center here in Dublin. I appreciate they have multiple options for healthy food, coffee, chocolates and sweets, pastries, grab and go foods as well as a sit-down restaurant called the Galway Hooker. The station is dated but clean and easy to navigate through the amenities. We ate at the Galway Hooker restaurant and it was excellent. Multiple hot foods to choose from reasonably priced served in a walk up cafeteria style. All in all, this is a very busy bus and train hub well suit to serve the people of Ireland.

29/09/2025: I just want to say how kindly we were treated by the Irish Rail employees. We arrived from US and had booked a train to Ennis to begin our tour. We asked where our train was located. The young man looked over our schedule and said, this was going to be a problem, since there were multiple train changes and construction along the way. He said however, there is a train leaving earlier with only one change and it will save you 2-3 hours. I asked if we had to rebook, he said no, just come with me. He brought us to the train, found us open seats, and got us settled. Later he came back and described where we would be changing trains. The young lady at our transfer station was just as pleasant and helpful. A great welcome start to our visit to Ireland.

22/10/2025: We visited Olives Garden with our daughter and our dog. Lovely outdoor seating, family-friendly atmosphere, and a great selection of pastries. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Great coffees

03/09/2025: We went to El Celler Blackrock to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was an absolutely unique experience. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The food was 5/5 – freshly prepared, full of flavour, and truly exquisite. What really made the evening so special was the warm and personal attention from Mireia, the owner. She made us feel not just welcomed, but genuinely cared for. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Blackrock Market, and without a doubt the best Spanish food you can find in Dublin. We were a group of 8, and every single one of us loved it. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

16/10/2025: Very friendly staff behind the bar. It was a quiet spot for a pint in the hustle and bustle of temple bar we found this gem. Lovely pint of Guinness. Proper Irish pub.

16/09/2025: I ordered some food on the app at tea time. It was a bit late when I went to collect. I was a bit annoyed as I was in a rush. However, the food was freshly prepared ( hence the delay ) and the staff were very nice. They even threw in a free portion of curry sauce. Highly recommended. Great food and very polite staff. Also, you can eat in the restaurant as they have tables and chairs.

28/08/2025: Me and my friend ordered a pizza and the oven was broken so it took an extra few minutes and they gave us 2 free cookies for our wait 👍 cookies and pizza was great
