23/07/2026: The atmosphere was really nice (calm and relaxing), the music was great, and the gentleman who served us was lovely :) The prices are really reasonable; my friend and I highly recommend it ☺️

06/05/2026: The sandwich is delicious, and the service is excellent. I also really enjoyed the coffee, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast – they offer a great selection of scones and other tasty treats to go with your coffee. The interior is quite simple, but that’s not what matters.

16/07/2026: I visited this place two weeks ago and was excited to try it because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I came with my family, and since it was our first visit, I asked a young employee who was preparing the ingredients whether they also offered anything sweet, as my little daughter was hoping for a dessert or sweet snack. Her reaction made me feel quite uncomfortable. She gave me a strange look and avoided eye contact, which made me feel as though I had asked something inappropriate. Perhaps she was having a bad day, or maybe there was some misunderstanding, but the interaction left us feeling unwelcome. In the end, we decided not to order anything, even though my daughter was already hungry. I would like to mention that the other employee seemed very friendly, but unfortunately the first impression had already discouraged us from staying.

17/07/2026: Got a fresh cod meal. Fish was perfect, chips really really good. The meal deal does not come with a sauce but you get a drink. They offered to swap the drink for a sauce, which is a great option. The weakest link was the garlic sauce, runny and not too garlicky. Improve the sauce please, it needs a bit of work! Staff is polite, place is clean with customers coming and going. Will definitely be back for another perfect fish and chips..

07/07/2026: We got this yesterday, and honestly it was one of the best chippers we ever had. The food was fresh and excellent. The portions were also very generous. The delivery was prompt, and the lady who brought it to the hotel to us was a pleasure to deal with. The food was still very hot when we got it. We'll definitely get this the next time we're in Dublin again.

04/07/2026: Busy petrol station. They are happy to fill your tank if needed otherwise self serviced, friendly staff and great shop for those last minute essentials.

22/06/2026: Really nice little café with a good selection of teas and coffees ☕️🍃 The friendly staff are happy to help you pick something if you’re not sure what to go for. I had tea and cake, both delicious and well made. The place has a warm, cosy feel and it’s an easy spot to sit and relax for a bit.

19/07/2026: I’ve been here twice in the last month and both visits were disappointing. The food is bland. The menu is limited and lacks any kind of joy or imagination. DO NOT GET the homemade cola, the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted and it was over €4. service poor. I ordered the chicken sandwich with soup and was brought a salad instead of the soup. When I highlighted this to a server they just looked at me blankly and said “sorry, is that ok?” without offering to exchange for the soup that I ordered. This is such a pity as it’s a lovely space and location with great potential, the food and service has just gone really downhill. Brother Hubbard please refresh your menu and bring some joy and professionalism back to the place!

21/07/2026: Today was waaaay off. Have ye changed the recipe for char chicken ? Chicken lost flavour and chargrill taste. Tomato also not right. Sauce was undetectable

20/07/2026: Arguably the best sandwich in Dublin. At €10+ it's a steep price, but worth it.

16/07/2026: This is our third stay at the Hilton in the last six months and not our first dinner at The Sixth Lock Bar & Restaurant, which is in the same building. The kitchen really does an excellent job. Tonight we enjoyed a genuinely beefy hamburger and the Apple Crumble Tart was superb. Service was on point (thank you Fabius, the custom made mocktail was lush). We ate in a ‘tucked away’ corner of the Bar area, which was just what we wanted for a quiet dinner. Air-con was on the cool side for our taste, but this is always subjective. fyi.

19/06/2026: Quite a disappointing experience in terms of service and food. I believe it took around 30 minutes for the food to arrive and even then, some of our orders weren’t properly written down by our servers leading to some of us to not get our food. With the food, the only thing I really liked was the platter where even then, most of the food tasted oily and bland. For my mains, I had the herb crusted lamb which tasted so strange with the herbs they selected. The mash it came with was served cold and my favourite thing on that plate was the roasted carrots. For someone on our table, there was a fishing line found in one of the shrimps in the seafood chowder. Overall, a disappointing experience.

27/06/2026: Inconsistent service. The staff member was friendly and helpful to one customer, then cold and abrupt with me for no clear reason. It felt like I was being judged the moment I walked in. Fair treatment shouldn't depend on who you are. Disappointing experience.

12/06/2026: Fun delish Cafe. Great sweets, sandwiches, coffee. A few outdoor tables and many inside. Definitely a place to chat and catch up with friends. Fab music and great staff too..

11/07/2026: A good place to buy a unique gift or souvenir, with different sections for food, decorative items, regular and wool clothing, etc.

11/07/2026: best breakfast in dublin !! i had the turkish eggs and my friends had the fried chicken w pancakes and hot honey and it was all AMAZING the chicken was so crispy and juicy and the pancakes were super soft and fluffy !! it was my first time having turkish eggs and im obsessed now !! so upset i didn’t get to try more of their selection because they also had some great looking cakes 🍰

15/07/2026: My all time favourites are the fresh berries muffins, the lasagna and the chicken sandwiches (there is more than one option and they all are great). The service is quick, polite and they have great taste in music!

24/06/2026: Went after a recommendation from someone else, it's a quiet and small place but perfect if you want to go alone or with a friend. Very peaceful and pleasant atmosphere and the staff were kind and offered recommendations on what to get when I was thinking. Would definitely recommend to go if you want to get a sweet treat and a little peace and quiet.

29/05/2026: I really like this place! 🤩 The sandwiches are great, and the bread is perfectly crispy. 🥪 The service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful. ✨ My only minor issue was the coffee; it was a bit bitter ☕ keep in mind coffe os the reason we all go to a place and it isn't cheep either.

04/05/2026: Great coffee and sandwiches, always have seasonal specials. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Not cheap but worth the price for the quality. Recommend if near the area
