24/03/2025: After missing the luas, I said I’d kill time and have a pint of the gorgeous Kilkenny. I enter and to be fair my order was taken promptly, “a Kilkenny please” the pint was poured 3/4 and left to settle…. No problem, I sat at the bar cash ready, mouth watering. After a minute or so, pint settled ready for a top up, bar man glued to the phone no bother I thought, good things come to those who wait. But after watching the barman in-groused by tinder on his phone for 8 minutes, to then top up the pint and ask me for €8:30 of my hard earned cash, I was shook,” it’s the big smmoooke, big prices” I thought. Let the pint settle, hopefully the product reflects the price. But unfortunately dear reader, it wasn’t. It was poor, nevertheless not the worst pint Iv had (worst was in an Indian restaurant in Manchester, don’t ask never again), disappointed I retreated from the establishment, delighted to say I’m currently on the train back home to “the bog” thinking to myself about all the poor yanks mr smith takes advantage of, if ye want advice walk two minutes to the boars head, what an excellent pint there! Still not the cheapest bit at least it’s decent. Yours a culchie

30/03/2025: Vanilla pod is my go to place for coffee and breakfast staff are all so friendly and go above and beyond for you just a great place atmosphere is amazing all the staff have a great laugh with you and make you feel great when you leave just all round amazing ❤️❤️

08/02/2025: Great coffee and service. However, after purchasing our coffee and sitting down, we were told we had to leave because only office building customers are allowed. Outside visitors are not permitted. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

18/04/2025: Visité este restaurante recientemente con padres ancianos y se sentaron inmediatamente junto a un grupo muy grande bullicioso y ruidoso de unos 30 antes en una mesa larga. Esto, a pesar de que hay muchas mesas más tranquilas más atrás. Nos opusimos y nos volvimos a sentar. ¿Por qué una gerente pensaría que esto era aceptable? Por lo tanto, a nuestra experiencia en restaurantes. Fue extraño. El personal está formado principalmente por chicas jóvenes con un par de hombres jóvenes también. Nos atendieron unos cuantos servidores diferentes durante nuestra visita. ¡Ni una! Y quiero decir, ni uno sonrió durante toda la noche. Una jovencita muy rubia puso nuestras comidas sobre la mesa sin mirarnos ni decir una palabra y se alejó. Me di cuenta de que este personal era el mismo con otros allí, así que simplemente no éramos nosotros. Fue aún más extraño cuando dos chicas movieron ruidosamente mesas vacías cerca mientras se reían y bromeaban entre ellas. Pero una vez más, cuando llegaron nuestros postres se colocaron en la mesa sin ningún tipo de gratitud y sin contacto visual. La comida era buena y gastamos mucho dinero allí, pero el ambiente creado por el personal sin duda nos impediría volver.

22/03/2025: Recently brought my family (12) to celebrate a birthday. We waited 55 minutes for our meal. No one approached us while waiting to say there was a delay. When I asked about the delay, we were told it was because we didn't order starters - starters take priority and the waiter told me it wasn't up to him it was up to the chef, again no apology. I emailed the owner, no reply. Will not be returning or recommending. This is not just 1 bad review - it is 12.

23/03/2025: I have been going there from Kerry and Limerick whenever I visit Dublin. Amazing breakfast in the morning we use to take and then lunch time, home made burgers are great and pizzas. Very kind owner and polite. Highly recommend.

27/03/2025: Feel like this is the story now with take away food in general. High prices, food delivered cold over an hour later and missing or wrong items. This was my experience with the Camille last night. You ring for a refund of your hard earned money for goods not received and there is no one there to process so you just have to wait and see if it happens. Camille used to be decent I feel but just another one gone to the dogs, food is average now at best.
