The best restaurants in Dublin

19/06/2024: The BEST tasting chicken wings I've ever had. Other food options are just OK, I would only get the wings to be honest. If I could eat these wings every meal of every day for a week, I'd still want more the next week.

03/11/2024: This is one of the best nandos experiences I've ever had. we came in for a bitta lunch and were promptly seated. It was super easy to order and the staff were very helpful. Our food arrived pretty quickly after our order was placed and was piping hot. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a bite in the dun laogharie area.

10/11/2024: I’ve just got a delivery from Base Pizza. I regularly go to Italy and Spain, and love their thin and crispy bases, so for me to say that Base Pizza is the best pizza I’ve had outside Italy or Spain really means something. Absolutely delicious!! Well done!!

23/08/2024: Empty. Sent back tasteless steamed fish and overcooked duck tamarind. No chocolate cake! Banoffee was from tins in a tiny pot. Yuck. Place is there 35 years! Food reportedly good a month back. What's happening. Claire was excellent.

19/09/2024: I stopped by on my way back home to have my last pint of Guinness in Dublin. As I hesitated for a moment at the bustling atmosphere seen through the slightly foggy window, a customer who appeared to be a regular inside opened the door and welcomed me. It was filled with the sounds of guitars, violins and other instruments, as well as singing voices. It felt like I was in Once, the movie that first introduced me to Dublin a long time ago. Maybe even better than the Irish pub on Temple Bar Street. I don’t think I will forget this day for a long time. Guinness was perfect without a doubt😉

19/08/2024: Quality Guinness in a proper pub. A really great spot in Dublin, couldn't get more Irish than this.

20/10/2024: Disappointing food was good service/price was below par. Charged for coffees that didn’t order and arrived after we had paid. Presented with a machine to tap card but without the breakdown of the bill.

06/10/2024: I think one egg and one rasher in a breakfast is pretty tight. Also a very small mug of coffee isn't hectic.

27/10/2024: Went here with a friend for a late lunch prior to going to the Bord Gáis theatre. Wow, Kwanghi sure knows how to charge for food. The portions were on the small side. We got a large portion of the popcorn chicken to start, now while it was very tasty it was just about enough for two people but could have been enough for one person if they were rather hungry or had a large appetite. My friend had the tacos for main, again delicious, but there were two small tacos as the portion - it was like a starter (€15). She said that there wasn't even a full chicken breast contained in the portion provided. I had the chicken katsu curry bowl, which was a lot of rice, a small breast of chicken drowned in curry sauce, and some pickled ginger (€18). When we asked about the dessert menu, we were told there were only two things available, both of which were chocolate-based! Unfortunately, neither of us is a chocolate fan. The service was excellent. With four large Asahi beers, the total was approximately €85. I hate to say that we had to get popcorn in the theatre to fill us up. I could possibly understand the prices if we were right in the centre of the city. But no, this restaurant is a good 20-30 minute walk from city centre.

04/10/2024: Everything about this place was exceptional. The food - to die for, possibly the best cheescake I've had. Recommend the ramen bowl!

18/10/2024: They don't open upstairs until the weekend but they still serve food downstairs the roast beef is delicious I would recommend it. They do a lovely roast beef sandwich with chips for €10.

02/11/2024: Tried the snack box out of here a alligator wouldn't be able to eat the skin off the chicken absolute dirt 🤮

24/10/2024: The workers were so sweet and the food was amazing (you could tell it was freshly made). They’re definitely better than they were a few months ago. 100% recommend !

08/06/2024: DJ’d here for a Communion party in May. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice venue for a celebration.
