17/08/2025: Staff were friendly and helpful. A good selection of dishes to choose from. A coffee and cake or hot food. The decor is nice. It also operates as a shop selling pasta, sauces, bread, sweets etc. I would recommend a visit. Note: there is a carpark just opposite the cafe.

18/08/2025: Good brekkie. Drinks should arrive a bit quicker but apart from that lovely job. Don't sit in the back on a hot day.

13/10/2025: Al Khair Restaurant is located in the backyard of the Dublin Mosque in Ireland. According to the owner, it is the first halal restaurant in Ireland. Established in 1985, the menu serves home-cooked dishes adapted from Pakistani cuisine. A portion of lamb biryani costs 15 euros, a large portion that can feed two to four Indonesians. The dining area is quite spacious with plenty of tables and chairs, as well as outdoor seating. The owner, Mr. Juneid, is very friendly and serves customers quickly. Orders arrive promptly. Payments are accepted by card and cash.

30/10/2025: Amazing little place. Food and drink were excellent although I wish there were more non-alcoholic options (one was out of stock, it happens). The service was great and attentive, and it’s very cozy inside. Great spot to people watch outside if you sit at the window!

25/10/2025: Amy Austin was our favourite restaurant, and this was our fourth time going. Since we were last there the whole kitchen staff has changed, the menu has increased in price, while decreasing in quality. Our bill for 4 dishes plus bread and butter, was €110 (and €4 for tap water!) The steak was small and cold albeit good quality meat, which was even more disappointing. The sea bass was smothered in sauce to compensate for its small size. Then the quail and hamachi were just simply average. Nice flavour, but tiny and expensive. I’m just disappointed they continue to push this “small dish” “5-6 plates” narrative while increasing price significantly and the overall food quality has dropped. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

02/10/2025: Took 17 minutes to get my 1st Guinness (and we visited at 3pm) I watched the poor girl, who was doing everything herself, pour my Guinness almost to the very top, before slamming it down. I had to remind her to top it off - worst point I've had in Ireland. Food was average - an expensive lesson learned.

21/10/2025: If I could give it 0 stars, I would. We wanted to sit upstairs, and the guy who attended us first said there were no free tables. Then he said that upstairs was only for people having dinner. I didn’t like the lack of transparency, but I understood — I thought it was a restaurant rule. So we decided to have dinner, but when we got upstairs, the Asian girl told us that the first floor was only for coffee and cakes, and there were several free tables, which we had been denied from the start. The carbonara pasta was awful. This is not the Dolce Sicily it used to be. The staff are very rude and not suitable to work with the public. I’m not coming back and I definitely won’t recommend it.

21/10/2025: Excellent bar and restaurant where you can eat and drink like in Italy, run by Italians. Excellent espresso.

12/10/2025: We went to watch the comedy show there and it was excellent. Choice of beers was poor, but the bar in general was pretty good.

15/09/2025: The bar is dark needs brightening up , lounge big and bright, smoking area looks good,food service was good,but staff hovering over the table waiting to get paid,had a salad, lettuce was soggy not good enough

05/11/2025: Great local spot! Pizza is spot on — soft base, crispy edge, and full of flavour. You can’t go wrong with their Margherita. Friendly team and chill vibe too.

06/06/2025: First i stepped on dog poo out side her shop i asked her for water to clean it of but when i had tisue and got it off by stepping on puddles i was just trying to tell its ok and I got it off bit she started acting cheeky wont even let me speak saying it not my problem and leave my store now and sighed steppingcon some dog poo and asking free water bare in mind if she would asked me it cost money i would pay because i dont have a problem with it cause she wants to bisness and she was very cheeky and I went there before and the Coffee was so bitter and disgusting i would not recommend it for anyone.

03/06/2025: Cute and traditional café located in the center of Dublin. Here you can get a traditional Irish breakfast among other options like bagels, sandwiches and wraps. The staff was very friendly and even brought the food to our table. The food was sensational and gave us a sense of tradition inside of a modern city like Dublin. We would recommend this place to have breakfast or coffee any day!
