27/03/2025: Not sure how many times I saw this place change. Happy to see they have now BAO buns too in the menu. Not super amazed though, the bao buns don't really look hand made, more like the ones you can buy frozen and make at home. But price is reasonable and staff is friendly so still not a bad place to go for a sweet treat.
23/12/2024: I ordered a boba tea from here and it was amazing the best I had in years not to mention it’s run by this lovely lady who had the best hospitality imaginable. It’s a small business and it’s definitely surpassing any expectations I had. Also the sizes are much larger than other places.

08/04/2025: This one fitted the bill for an early dinner before meeting friends in a wet only pub. I was impressed by the 51st State and the seat was comfortable.
26/03/2025: Lovely atmosphere and usually decent Guinness
The only thing I don't appreciate is they increase the price of beers later in the night. Real sneaky like. Fairly scummy practice but amazing food, and a very comfortable, safe, and friendly pub. Went here all throughout college.

01/04/2025: Disappointing Brunch. Avocado toast - myself and my friend both got the same. Poached eggs were overcooked and cold. Toast was ice cold. We were waiting 25 minutes after ordering. Coffee’s were finished by then. There was no excuse because only one other person in the cafe was waiting for food. Most likely the food was done ten minutes before it was served. (30 Mar 25, 12:40)
07/03/2025: Food was VERY overpriced. Had a ham and cheese toastie and the size of it... Small and miserable looking. Coffee was only okay, nothing to rave about. I usually give great reviews but I can't say I'll be back. Disappointing

21/04/2025: El personal era muy agradable. En cuanto a la comida, era terrible. Carbonara era insípida, el ragu era asqueroso, lo enviamos de vuelta y la pizza estaba seca como un hueso. No es una experiencia presente. Definitivamente no volveré. Un desperdicio de dinero. Nunca recomendaría este restaurante.

That is where the good part ends…
Ordered a shakshuka, which is one of my favourite dishes, what came was literally a tomato soup with a raw egg in it. Asked to replace it and got told that it is their own shakshuka version and the only thing they can do is to cook it more, they cant change a dish that is not what it says in the menu.
Next thing is restaurants putting caviar on the menu and serving dog food…
Maybe this place is good if you are coming out of the cold water and hungry as hell, so you would eat anything they would throw at you.
Had hopes for this place…
06/03/2025: Great spot for a sauna. I am a regular. To keep up with other local saunas and the improving universal standard - I would request/suggest the addition of box shaped shelves on the walls to put belongings in so items aren’t scattered and and the changing room is longer cluttered. People use the seats and the floor as storage for their items and there’s no where to sit when changing. I would also request filtration on the two cold tubs by the shower, these tubs often have a build up of sweat and dead skin on the surface of the water, it’s gross.
In a positive light, keep up with the incense! It is a truly fantastic addition to the atmosphere.

Very good fish and chips, the best I've had so far.

Good apple fruit juice, hot chocolate with marshmallows. Very good.

30/03/2025: Coffee was very weak. I asked for a mini americano and then the lady kindly took the weak coffee back however, I think they just transferred the same weak coffee into a mini cup. A little bit disappointing.
01/02/2025: Very cozy cafe, friendly staff and lovely food. I had a chicken, pesto and sundried tomato sandwich that was very tasty.
