24/02/2025: Cenamos en el Seafood Café en una fría noche de febrero, cuando llegamos el lugar estaba excepcionalmente bien vestido. Hay un ambiente muy guay aquí pero también muy acogedor, buena música para acomodarse mientras tomamos nuestras bebidas. Los tres chicos de esa noche fueron geniales, puedes ver claramente que les encanta lo que hacen. Empezamos con las ostras, yo tenía la solla sobre carbón. . . . . recomiendo encarecidamente! Mi esposa tuvo la caballa con ensalada y rábano picante de nuevo muy bueno. Si estás en Dublín y te apetece un poco de marisco en un ambiente ecléctico, muy fresco pero cómodo, entonces cena aquí. No te arrepentirás.

13/04/2025: The restaurant staff needs to pay more attention to the kitchen, something is very wrong there. I ordered a picanha and it was salty, my wife ordered a parmigiana and the meat tasted horrible, not to mention rotten and the beans were also very watery. Unfortunately for me the experience was very sad, which is a shame because I live next to the restaurant.
06/04/2025: With a few Brazilian options close to Tia Maria, what brings me here is the quality and fair price. I've been here several times and I'm always very well received. I've had Parmegiana, Picanha, Chicken fillet with creamed corn... Everything is always well served and delicious.
* I only want to draw the establishment's attention to the beans. I think that putting more effort into the seasoning would be a significant and important point to adjust, considering our Brazilian passion for beans with a homemade flavor.
Any artificial seasoning (sazon) is not welcome.

As atendentes tem um alto carisma e nos atenderam com excelência.
A bruschetta que comi estava maravilhosa. O capuccino foi preparado com cuidado e perfeição, muito bom também.
Resumindo, é um bom local para se visitar e tomar um café!

31/03/2025: Really bad! The scrambled eggs were so unbelievably salty, the bacon is a joke, its all stuck together and looks like it's been deep fried, completely inedible. I don't know how they can make something as simple as scrambled eggs and bacon taste so bad.

Zuko's Bakery

29/03/2025: We found Zuko's Bakery at the RDS Wedding Showcase and we knew right then that they were who we wanted for our wedding. Our wedding was in April 2024 and Holly was fantastic. The effort and time she put into our cake was second to none. We wanted a Harry Potter theme cake that also incorporated some of our other loves, such as music. She had the lyrics from our first dance on the top tier. The cake was incredible, we didn't want to cut it!! It tasted incredible, we went for vanilla, lemon drizzle and chocolate biscuit cake, and wow is all I can say!
10/02/2025: We had our wedding cake made by Zuko’s and it was one of the best cakes we ever had. We chose the Lemon Meringue and New York Blueberry Cheesecake flavors and went with a wildflower design. We were dealing with Holly throughout the process, and she was a delight to deal with. She initially created 3 different designs for us to choose from, and it was amazing to see her drawings come to life in a cake. The sponge was nice and light, and the flavors were delicious. All our guests were raving about the cake. We would highly recommend Zuko’s for a wedding or even just a small treat of cupcakes. Excellent service and flavors.

25/03/2025: Updated review (2025) - still a very beautiful location, lovely staff and all that, but the food is not longer great. Neither me nor my boyfriend finished our mains even though we were fairly hungry.
Old review - Perfect restaurant. Even despite the really cool novelty that it was on a boat, the beautiful view of the surrounding area lit up and reflecting on the water, the food was absolutely flawless! The servers were lovely and prices were very reasonable considering how good it was.
24/03/2025: Gorgeous experience dining at the MV Cill Airne!
Party of three went for dinner at the MV Cill, and the experience was great! Dining in a boat was an amazing experience, and the staff are lovely too!
We ordered the fish and chips, the seafood chowder and the aubergine and courgette tagine. All of the food was flavoursome, rich, fresh and filling!
It was a great experience, would recommend!

Did not check up on me once.
Garlic bread took an hour to come.
Online menu has completely different and misleading prices compared to the actual restaurant menu which they do not show online which is much more expensive.
13/03/2025: Been going to Mario's for 30 years since I was a toddler with my parents. Had multiple birthdays there, including my 21st. Will no doubt bring my own children there in the near future. Always a pleasure, great food and atmosphere.

Very handy for NYX Hotel
06/01/2025: Located in the heart of Portobello, this brunch restaurant boasts a lovely and cosy atmosphere with beautiful decorum and honestly stunning water decanters. The service is super friendly and chill, adding to the relaxed vibe.
However, the food is only okay. The pancakes are decent but not outstanding, the vegetarian breakfast - while quite tasty - leaned a bit too much on fried items, and the eggs Benedict were overall disappointing. I very much liked the smoothie bowl, though!
I'll say that some of this might be circumstantial to the day we went, but I wasn't overly impressed.
It is still a nice spot to grab a cup of coffee, especially when the sun is out and you can sit on the patio!
