07/03/2026: Driving from Kilkenny to Dublin for 8 o’clock kick off in Lansdowne Road stopped off at Macari 66 on Braemor Rd, plenty of parking. 6 or so customers in shop but maybe 5/6 people behind counter. Irish lady clearly running the show. Ordered a cheese burger and small chips . Burger was really nice and plenty of sauce, cheese and onions. Was given a half bag of chips which was perfect. All wrapped in paper sheets , old school including smell of vinegar on paper. Did not notice the price , should have but it was best chipper visit in years. As kid there was a chipper in Kilmacud called Angelos and it was hard to beat but this spotless place has it . Well done all . Will be back when I can. Jon . Thomastown,KK.

20/01/2026: This is my pharmacy. Keeping the family well, Finn and his lovely staff, are my go to for all kinds of advice to keep the doctor away. Highly recommend stopping here before getting that prescription filled or as a complementary approach. Finn has the knowledge and the beneficial supplements for treating those stubborn ailments and has helped in the treatment and cure of my daughter’s warts on her hands, which were an enigma to the doctors.

17/01/2026: Great cappuccino in the Rathmines leisure centre..i go every weekend when children are at their swimming lesson ..staff are lovely..except for this morning..rushed and curt service..not the usual friendly experience.

08/04/2026: We got there and ordered food and drinks. We then proceeded to wait for 55 minutes for our food. We then had to ask how long it would be and when they brought it out 5 minutes later the food was cold. Was hoping to enjoy a nice roast dinner but it was dry and cold. Wouldn't recommend.

07/04/2026: Great pub, great vibe but dinner came one hour and ten minutes later. Ridiculous! People who came after us were served before us. We had four hungry kids with us. Very disappointing to receive dinner at 9:35pm.

17/03/2026: The only nice thing about this place is its name. The worst kebab in town: the bread and meat were cold, and they served us different sauces to the ones we’d ordered... The place was dirty. I hope it was just because it was St Patrick’s Night, but I won’t be going back to find out. Highly not recommended

20/11/2025: Wilde and Green in Milltown is one of those places that seems to have been designed by someone with excellent taste and absolutely no interest in where you’re supposed to park your car. You arrive hungry, optimistic, and ready for lunch, only to find a small car park across the road that appears to operate on a first come, first serve, and good-luck-to-you system. There are, technically, two spaces outside, but they are about as attainable as front-row tickets to a sold-out gig. Once you manage to wedge your vehicle somewhere within the general postcode, however, things take a turn for the better. I went in with my uncle for an early lunch. He ordered the breakfast sandwich, I took the chicken sandwich, and both arrived pre-made but warmed up to a level that, against all odds, actually works. My uncle then demolished a scone with the enthusiasm of a man who has found his true calling. The coffees followed: he became an instant devotee of their cappuccinos, while I stuck with an americano that did exactly what it was supposed to do without making a fuss about it. The staff were sound, friendly, and helpful in the kind of effortless way that makes you forgive nearly anything. They’ve also got a gourmet range of bits you can take home, all of which look dangerously tempting, especially if you're the type who shouldn’t be trusted with a credit card while hungry. In the end, Wilde and Green is one of those spots that would be almost perfect if someone could simply magic twenty extra parking spaces into existence. But once you’re inside, with a warm sandwich, a good coffee, and the faint smell of baked goods calling your name, you forget the minor battle you had outside. Worth a visit. Just bring patience for the parking.

05/04/2026: Fast delivery, Food used to be really tasty. but the last couple of times it hasn’t been great, you can tell the food is fresh but there’s no flavour to it, the likes of the curry sauce, spice bags, 3 and 4 in 1’s have little to no flavour. Food needs some work. Would be sad to see this place go down hill over very fixable issues.

22/10/2025: Bought cake from here and the quality was excellent. It was very tasty and fresh. They were so quick to get it ready as well.

29/09/2025: As a regular visitor to Butlers in Ballsbridge I’m writing this review as a very disappointed customer. I order extra hot, hot chocolate. Nearly every time I receive it ,it’s lukewarm. Not even hot. It’s either far too milky or too much lumps of chocolate. The staff need more training and the outdoor seating area is often very dirty .
