The best restaurants in Dublin

03/11/2024: I had a very bad experience with the restaurant manager, she booked a table next to birthday party table, we were not able to get Ben hear each others, and hence I complained she answered ‘ we can not do anything’ . And usually people did not complain.

03/11/2024: The food was great! Anne was fun and lovely. The only thing that brought down the atmosphere was a middle-aged man complaining about a party of kids that weren't even that loud, while he had brought his own loud kids to the same place... if they kicked him out for being a Karen I'd have given Atmosphere 5 stars.

13/11/2024: Ordered a Pad Prik Haan vegetarian, a main ingredient of this dish is cashew nuts. There were none in it.

05/11/2024: Great variety on the menu and tasty food! The panna cotta was a delicious choice for dessert & the risotto was quite nice as well! The calimari however wasn't amazing, it was rather ordinary. I'd recommend Casanova's to anyone looking to go out for a laid back meal with family!

04/11/2024: Very good restaurant with generous and very well prepared cuisine. We tasted the Guinness beef which is similar to French Burgundian. They also serve very good beer and cider. The order is placed at the counter, which may surprise our habits. But we loved it, the service is also very good

03/11/2024: My girlfriend and I went to dinner at this emblematic Irish pub, we ordered a main each, around €20 per head. 7 hours later, we continue taking turns in the hotel bathroom to continue vomiting, shivering and having a fever. Please be careful with the food here, avoid anything other than beer.

29/10/2024: A hidden gem in the city center! Go there if you want to unwind and enjoy a proper tea. The setting is super comfy and calming. Tip: try out their homemade hummus!

26/10/2024: What seemed to be a nice experience ended up being a disappointment. Tea is absolutely normal, biscuits were not fresh and we asked to move to a different table because a very noisy group arrived right after we ordered and we were not allowed although there was plenty of free seats/tables. Waiters apparently asked owner's approval but this is "against the rules". Clearly customers' satisfaction is not relevant to this business.

04/11/2024: I ate here for lunch Saturday with a friend we ordered the Cajun Burger and chips and a beef burger and chips and it was just okay, no real flavour and presentation was very sloppy. The chips were like skinny frozen ones and were over cooked I think, now others people food look nicer then ours so possibly we just picked the wrong item on the menu which we felt was very limited. The new decor of the pub I didnt like as I preferred it when it was The Porterhouse more old style, the service however was really good and staff were friendly and attentive and looked after is really well. Would I go back, for a few drinks yes but not for food or the atmosphere.

17/11/2024: Pitt Bros BBQ has long been a favorite of mine, and I’ve made countless trips to Dublin just for a taste of their smoky, hearty offerings. However, my recent visit left me feeling disappointed, and I’m no longer as enthusiastic about returning. Firstly, I was taken aback by yet another price increase. It’s become increasingly difficult to ignore, especially considering the quality and portion sizes seem to be gradually diminishing. The once generous sauce portions have become a skid mark in the ramekins, a seemingly small but noticeable change that impacts the overall experience. The meat was wet, it’s usually dry and laced with sauce.

15/11/2024: Me and family come here few times, food is great but very busy so waiting is long time, table is very close to next.

09/11/2024: A neighborhood cafe! Coffee and pastry were ok! Cool spot for locals. Service was pretty good.

29/10/2024: Service above and beyond! Alan is a fine man for sure. We had landed in Dublin after a day of travel and I was as ill as I could remember. We stumbled in there just done in around 9pm, couldn't find our air bnb... no place to stay and hadn't had anything to eat in 24 hrs. His first comment was "Oh! you don't look so good you need a Guinness!" I wanted to hug him then and there but my stomach I feared wouldn't keep it where it belonged. Alan was nonplused! Took the matter right over and sent to doctoring me up and tending to the comfort of my wife Mary! He explained with fervent enthusiasm he had just the thing, some red lemonade!! and proceeded to pour me a class and left the bottle like a good man. Made me chuckle. Oh... and I was so hungry and yet not sure I could eat but he served us both up some potato leek soup that was simply exquisite and just the thing! His last prescription was some brandy in a snifter, ordered me to simply toss it back proper and exclaimed! "Ohh your looking better already, ya got color coming back in your face"!! The story is fun to share but truly... the experience was simply magical with the kindness and care we continued to often receive the following week of our travels across the land and down the west coast. It was just Grand!! Alan this review is weeks overdue and I apologize, I bow my head low for your pardon! Just know that I intend to steer everyone I know your way! And also to say hello to Foxy too! His birthday is coming up! November 5th!!! Foxy is a fine patron who was intent to set us up at his in-laws suite. Just fantastic people, awesome food, the staff support each other it was clear. What a great experience, so fun, we felt blessed to have found them. Alan even found us hotel in Maynoosh! I guarantee the Deadman's Inn is worthy of your time and effort. I'm sure I speak for my wife Mary as I send you our finest warmest regards!
