Chorus Cafe Bistro
Dublin
10/04/2025: Terrible service. The waiter were always asking me to order more stuff and when my brother didn't want to eat anything they told me there was no reason to stay there anymore, and send us away. Worst service I have ever seen in my life!
07/03/2025: Went in with a family of 5 and we all ordered different plates, I was so impressed by the food, it was extremely delicious!
I’m going to be honest, the place’s atmosphere and decoration shows the impression of a really cheap place. BUT the food was one of the best I had in Dublin, thank you for the great service by the owners.
I’d recommend a new decoration would suit h the e place really well

Wigwam
Dublin
07/04/2025: Amazing place, amazing pizza! (You guys should try the thursday "rodizio")
05/04/2025: If you want to have lunch you only have the option of a smash burger. They only serve pizzas from 5pm onwards or brunch.
Food is very average and expensive for the quantity.
Very loud place.

Provender & Family
Dublin
06/03/2025: Very nice little cafe. I had an excellent chai tea latte here. The staff was very nice and the cafe was clean, including the bathroom. Everything is taken away from this cafe.
They don't have seating inside really, but three tables outside. Prime people watching spot if the weather permits.
It's right by the Ashling, so a great spot to grab a coffee before a work conference.
27/12/2024: Good latte. Friendly staff. Queer friendly. Everything I need in a coffee shop.

Eskimo Pizza Stillorgan
Dublin
21/12/2024: Favourite spot for Pizza nights. Always the best quality. The place is clean and the owner is very friendly. Highly recommend.
03/11/2024: The last two times I’ve ordered from here I’ve had issues with my order. The first time my food arrived 1 hour and 45 mins after I had ordered it, and by time I got it, it was cold and the pizza was half crushed (obviously was not handled properly by driver). The second time, my order arrived on time, but this time they forgot three items that I had ordered. It’s a shame that every time I seem to get takeaway, there is an issue with my order, because the food is actually quite tasty.

John Clarke & Sons South Dock
Dublin
16/04/2025: Not a True Kiwi Welcome – A Heartbreaking Night for My Boys
As a single mother of two dual US–NZ citizen sons, I walked into John Clarke & Sons South Dock hoping for a moment of connection—a quiet beer at what I thought was a Kiwi bar, in honor of my boys’ heritage and their late father, who tragically passed away of a heart attack at 38. He was a proud New Zealander and a former pro rugby player. Since his passing, my sons have spent their lives searching for pieces of him—in culture, in sport, in identity. I thought maybe, just maybe, this bar would offer that sense of home.
At first, I noticed the All Blacks flag flying above the bar. Signed jerseys on the wall reminded me of ones our family has lovingly collected. I’ve had the incredible honor of meeting most of the All Blacks team back when Richie McCaw was captain. I even have a photo with him. When I showed it to a woman sitting at the bar—just trying to make light conversation and share a proud memory—she cruelly said “It should be her” in the photo. It was a bitter, unnecessary jab.
I was sitting quietly with my nephew, showing photos of my now 18-year-old son—massive, athletic, and kind—who has been playing first-string football and rugby since he was in 3rd grade. As I spoke with some men at the bar, this same woman turned sharply, told me I wasn’t “invited” and needed to leave. The bartender said nothing. Not a word. Not even a hint of welcome or concern. Just silence.
My sons were so excited to visit this place later that night—hoping to feel something of the Kiwi spirit their father passed on to them. But we left, humiliated. I was devastated. My boys, who already carry the heavy pain of losing their dad so young, said this was the first time they felt ashamed to be Kiwis. Imagine that—young men grieving the loss of their identity, trying to find family through travel, being pushed away from what should have been a warm, familiar place.
I was treated like rubbish. But it wasn’t me I cried for—it was my boys. Their father died young. I’ve carried this family on my own. And all we wanted was a place to feel proud of who we are. That woman at the bar wasn’t just rude—she was a villain to two boys who just wanted to belong.
No true Kiwi bar would act this way. No Kiwi hospitality would let a grieving widow and her sons feel so small.
Shame on the silence. Shame on the hostility. And shame on a bar that flies the All Blacks flag without the mana to honor what it stands for.
22/12/2024: Very tasty beer. Wicklow wolf IPA and PALE. I recommend

The Old Bakery Store
Dublin
01/03/2025: The food is excellent here with very friendly service. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious cappuccino and pastry. It's really good value for money too.
23/02/2025: I ordered a sandwich with pistachio pesto, cream cheese and mortadella,I asked for no tomato, I asked for it on focaccia bread but they only had ciabatta. It was absolutely delicious, the bread was divine and the fillings were so fresh. I can't believe I haven't tried this place properly having only lived down the road, I will definitely be back. The sandwich selection is excellent and it seems like a lovely cosy place to sit down.

laine, my love
Dublin
12/03/2025: Sweet little cafe. Perfect for a small breakfast and cozy people watching, as the café has a large glass front. Great ambience!
There is a small but good selection of food and every kind of hot drink. (coffee, matcha, chai) and various milk options.
The prices are reasonable and the portion size was great.
What I noticed negatively was that you had to pay extra for oat milk and that the surface of the tables was a bit sticky (?). But seems to be the material.
11/03/2025: Breakfast is served until 11am and I highly recommend the 9euro breakfast bap, 2 eggs, 2 rashers, 2 sausages & black pudding in a nice bap with tomato relish.

The Stableyard Cafe, Stable Yard, Cabinteely Park
Dublin
02/04/2025: Very good cafe, really great food, and with the garden outside there is no better place to be on a lovely summers day.
12/01/2025: The place is cosy. The guy who took our order was nice and helpful, but the girl who bought our food looked like she didn't want to be there. When she brought our food, part of the toast fell on the floor, and when she brought the soup, she literally threw it on the table and some soup spilt of the pot. Also, the gent's toilet smells, and it was poorly maintained.
