Brady's
Dublin
20/05/2026: We visited yesterday and were left genuinely disappointed by our experience. We ordered 2 pints, chicken wings, and garlic cheese chips, coming to €40, which already felt steep.
When the chips arrived, we were surprised to find the “garlic” element was simply 3 to 4 raw, roughly chopped garlic cloves dumped on top, completely overpowering and inedible. We politely asked if we could swap to the bacon cheese chips instead, but what came back appeared to be the exact same dish, simply reheated. We know this for certain because we had put a small amount of ketchup on the chips before requesting the change, and the replacement plate came back with the same ketchup stains still visible. Nothing had changed.
When we raised our concern, we were told “it is what it is”, which we found dismissive and frankly unprofessional. Even your own waitress visibly reacted to the amount of garlic on the plate.
We are not ones to complain, but €40 for this experience, the food quality, the refusal to properly address our request, and the indifferent attitude, was not acceptable. We would welcome a response and hope this is taken as constructive feedback.
07/05/2026: A lovely layout with a well equipped beer garden, which included tv. This was very welcome for the large groups of Man Utd & some Liverpool fans.
The food was delicious and the Guinness was 👍
Staff were efficient & friendly.

20/03/2026: One of my favourite bars in Dublin. Had a first date with my wife here 19 years ago. It hasn't changed since. That's a compliment.
18/03/2026: Cracking little dive bar. Excellent range of drinks.

The Woollen Mills
Dublin
26/05/2026: I can’t believe the waiter thought he could ‘sneak’ a service charge on the bill for a table of 2?! When we asked what it was for he just walked off?! So I went to the front to ask for a copy of the bill as the waiter didn’t return, sure the change was only .40 euros….. still?! AND the bill was missing, no where to be seen, had to re-print a new one. I just can’t!! 3.60 euros, in Canadian is almost $6?! Dirty!! I wish I could give this review a zero!!
26/05/2026: Great fish and chips, great view of the water and ha'penny bridge

Prince Restaurant
Dublin
31/08/2025: Good pizza, but very expensive - 8 or 9 euros for a small reheated slice of pizza is a lot.Sitting on stool, eating with hands. However, it's in line with the unjustified prices in Temple Bar. I will not go back.
29/08/2025: We were hungry after the bars and this place was open. So we figured, why not? It was actually good food! The pizza is on a Chibatta type dough with really great toppings. Give it a try.

Be Sweet Cafe
Dublin
20/09/2025: Cute little cafe! Colourful relaxing decor.
I had a delicious pumpkin spice latte! The cups are so pretty too!
19/09/2025: I went here totally by accident, I thought id give it a try as I saw they have gluten free options and pumpkin spice latte!!. The staff was so friendly, the service was outstanding and the decor was breathtaking. Nothing I have seen before. Its a small cozy hidden away cafe. May I also add they had a few options for gluten free, I got the brownie it was a bit dry but still good i enjoyed it either way (you can see the selection of gluten free options in the picture of the menu, the top shelf)
The price is also not too bad

Ruby's Pizza & Grill Point Square
Dublin
27/05/2026: The idea of Ruby's is nice but it doesn't quite hit the same in reality.
The wings are great quality, I love that even when coated in sauce they are still crispy and you get the full wing (knuckle and flat) but the actual flavour is lacking. The bbq needs more salt and the sesame needs more... sesame. The pizzas are sadly not great. I hope I'm wrong but I suspect they are frozen pizzas just cooked in a pizza oven. Even if I'm wrong, that speaks to the actual quality of the pizza. The burgers are actually super tasty so no complaints there, the ingredients are fresh and the beef is well cooked and salted.
The service is very good, the workers are accommodating and polite. The restaurant itself has a trendy but casual feel so it caters to a lot of people. Overall, it's fine restaurant but it's just fine.
27/05/2026: Went before a show. Food was lovely and quick. Was a tad warm inside however didnt damper the meal or service

Salamanca
Dublin
25/05/2026: Went in for tapas last week. Every dish was gorgeous, especially the patatas bravas and the Spanish ham croquettes. The portions are quite small, even for tapas so bear that in mind when ordering, but the food is really good quality.
25/05/2026: The food was off , ever never again in this place . Stomach pain all night

03/09/2025: Great place for a coffee and pastry (which they get from Bread 41-good tip to miss the line there is come here). Some benches out front to enjoy on. Fresh bread, flowers and a large wine selection available. Good cheese, meats, pasta, and all sorts of spices and sauces available. Highly recommend as a local grocer.

The Camden
Dublin
18/05/2026: Visited the Camden over the weekend with a group of friends and was very impressed. Very smart looking venue with an absolute monster of a screen showing sport. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the food on offer was of a good quality too.
A few of us ordered the "Big Platter" and its exactly that. We all really enjoyed it (although the mac n cheese was a bit stodgy).
Would 100% return next time im back over the water..
11/05/2026: Booked for their advertised Formula 1 screening. No commentary was played over the sound system. At a few points it was removed completely from the screens. I feel they shouldn’t advertise an event if they do not want to show it properly. Drinks and food were good.

Mannings Bakery
Dublin
27/05/2026: Just dropped in as hadn't been for a while, Americano, fruit scone and cream for less than 8 euro, great value and good vibe.
25/05/2026: My experience with this company was disappointing, primarily due to the poor communication and customer service throughout the ordering process.
There was a clear language barrier during a telephone conversation. I asked a simple yes-or-no question, but instead of answering it directly, the staff member interrupted me and began explaining how to place an order, which was not what I had asked. By this point, there had already been more than 15 emails exchanged between us.
I politely requested that the staff member read through the previous email correspondence so they could fully understand my enquiry and the responses I had already received. Unfortunately, this request was refused, and the conversation became defensive, leaving me with no option but to contact the shop directly.
Even when calling the shop, it took a considerable amount of time for someone to answer. It was frustrating that the matter could not have been properly clarified through email beforehand. The quality of the email communication was also disappointing, with numerous spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors that came across as unprofessional.
I had enquired about three different cakes because I was trying to decide which option would be most suitable, which is a perfectly reasonable question when placing an order. However, the response I received was difficult to understand and did not adequately answer my enquiry.
On a positive note, the cake itself was beautifully presented and looked fantastic. However, I found the artificial cream filling tasted unusual and was not to my liking. When collecting the cake, I was also asked for a code or reference number, which I had not been informed I would need. Additionally, as a visitor from outside Ireland, I was unaware that an address and telephone number were required to make a reservation or order. This information could and should have been communicated more clearly by staff in advance.
I am genuinely surprised that a business with over 60 years of experience communicates with customers in this manner. While the cake presentation was excellent, the overall customer service, communication, and ordering experience fell well below expectations. Had this not been for my child’s birthday, I would likely have taken my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not use this company again.

Tasty Hut Fast Food
Dublin
27/11/2025: Love their Browine and Pizza. Browine was awesome.
25/11/2025: Amazing Pizza & Even Better People!
Ihad an outstanding experience at this pizza place! The moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. They were incredibly attentive, helpful with recommendations, and made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer.
The pizza itself was phenomenal—fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and flavors that prove they truly care about what they serve. You can tell the team takes pride in their work, from the kitchen to the front counter.
It’s rare to find a spot where great food and great service come together so perfectly. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍕✨
