The best restaurants in Dublin

28/09/2025: The food here is very good. We tried three dishes, and all three were excellent! Especially the one that was quite spicy! The service is also excellent!

26/09/2025: this is authentic szechuan food, they use great spice levels. super tasty and would return. the beef dumpling with crispy shallot and teriyaki was awesome. loved the crispy chili chicken too (a favorite we order in NY too). and the spice bag was a delight (yes I know it is not authentic but had to try it)

16/09/2025: Fantastic location, minutes away from Dublin airport. Also has free shuttle bus service to & from Dublin airport. Bus stops are within a few steps away from the hotel entrance providing public transport to Dublin city centre. Apartment was huge, very clean. 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, with a full kitchen, sitting room and an amazing closed in balcony with amazing views too. Food was delicious, fantastic range on offer. Staff were very polite, helpful & couldn't do enough.

21/08/2025: This place was fantastic!! The show was fantastic and the food was good. You get a 3 course meal and a 2 hour show for $52. We also got a bottle of wine. Then a shot of Redbreast 12, with the people next to us.

20/08/2025: Thanks to Leslye who took such good care of us throughout the meal. She was wonderful, smiling and adorable. The show was perfect and great. I really recommend it.

02/12/2025: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! If I could give The Ivy Asia -10 I would. Having been to the IA in London, I was expecting a similar experience. I could not have been more wrong! Single handedly the worst dining experience I have ever had. Arrived and advised that our table wasn’t ready so advised to have a seat at the bar. After waiting for over 25mins for drinks we were asked to give our drink order again because they had lost it!..order given again and hostess arrived to take us to the table. After yet another half hr we asked for our drinks only to be advised the waitress lost it again. It took a further 20mins to get some cokes. When ordering we were advised that they were very busy so the food would just come as it’s ready. Ok we could deal with that. Some of the party got their starter relatively quickly, however… 1hr and 15mins after being seated we sat waiting for starters. After over 2 and half hrs at the table the mains started to arrive, dishes not ordered, some cold.. So over 3hrs into a meal we finally had all food on the table, when a second round of starters started to arrive.. Throughout the above the dining experience was chaos, rude wait staff when you could find one and manger named Alex who had no idea what the hell was going on or how mange a restaurant. He simply left and the staff at one point told us they couldn’t find him! Rebecca I believe was our waitress and was incredibly kind and apologetic throughout. Never ever have I written this type of review, but if anyone at the Ivy Groups reads this you have a serious problem on your hands with the Ivy Asia Dublin and it requires immediate action. Overall a horrendous experience. Peoples money is hard earned and none of what is being offered is worth a cent of it!

30/11/2025: I visited The Ivy in Dublin recently and, while the setting was very nice, my overall experience fell a bit short of what I had expected. My meal wasn’t quite as enjoyable as I had hoped. The steak was firmer than I prefer, and the sides didn’t have much flavour. The tuna tartare starter also tasted a little unbalanced for my liking. The service felt quite reserved, which made the atmosphere less warm than I anticipated for a high-end restaurant. Considering the cost, I had expected a more memorable visit. I would hope for a few improvements before returning.

05/12/2025: NASTY PEOPLE AND STAFF AT THE ACADEMY.Very disappointing experience. The event was completely unorganised, and many attendees behaved disrespectfully, people were jumping on tables and even knocked over my drinks. When I reported the incident, the Academy staff were extremely rude and showed no interest in addressing the situation. Neither Bingo Loco nor the venue staff seemed to care at all. Overall, it felt like a complete scam. The behaviour of both the crowd and the staff was unacceptable. I will never attend this event again. run away.

26/10/2025: Not recommended, friendly welcome upon arrival, food not very special. The staff got grumpy because you didn't leave enough of a tip. Strange turn of events at the end of the evening.

22/10/2025: A very nice experience… Friendly service, good food (Burger was delicious though they do it well done)!

27/10/2025: The place is cozy and the attention is good. The Snbazuru Yakisoba was grate, the Original Tonkotsu Ramen was just fine. There is a lot of options in the menu, in general at a higher place that in the lunch menu. In general a good place to go.

09/12/2025: First time in there. Liked it a lot and on a Saturday night it got a great buzz but was not stuffed to the gills. Be back there.

14/10/2025: Stayed there for two nights with my family (4 people). A very friendly welcome, a great bar and restaurant, and a top-notch breakfast. The rooms, including the bathroom, were spacious and clean. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. Free underground parking is available. Dublin Airport is easily accessible by car in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend the hotel; I would go back anytime; it's excellent value for money.

11/10/2025: Extremely disappointing experience. I walked in and sat down, but no one brought me a menu, even though one of the waitresses clearly saw me. After waiting, I had to get up and ask a gentleman at the bar for a menu myself. I then sat for nearly 20 minutes without anyone approaching my table. Eventually, the same gentleman noticed and asked if no one had come to me yet which said it all. When the food finally arrived, the same staff who had ignored me earlier continued to look over but never once checked if the food was okay or if I needed anything else I couldn’t even finish my meal without having another drink. For a restaurant that appears well-presented, the service was shockingly poor from start to finish. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.

18/10/2025: The coffee and tea are excellent. The breakfast menu portions are ample and filling.

17/09/2025: We’ve been working with Kennedy’s Clontarf store for years, and they remain one of our most reliable, professional, and friendliest suppliers for many of our catering needs. Communication with the team is always easy, which makes a huge difference during busy times. They’re incredibly flexible with our requests. The food is consistently delicious and always enjoyed by both our staff and office visitors. A big shoutout to the entire Kennedy’s Clontarf team!
