The best restaurants in Dublin

11/01/2026: Have eaten here, many times without issue, but service was exceptionally slow, certain tables were given priority, with other neglected. Two spoons of rice per person and soft drinks in half glass but full price (previously cans, now must be the small bottles). Otherwise the food was tasty.

04/01/2026: I was really disappointed with the value for money at this restaurant. While the staff were very nice and accommodating, the prices were far too high for what was actually served. When we were seated, we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water, without being told the price. This turned out to be €6.90 per bottle, which felt excessive. We were also given a small dish of prawn crackers — about 7 in total between the three of us — which was surprisingly stingy. For my main, I ordered the crispy chilli beef, which cost €32. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what I expected at all. Instead of strips of beef, it was more like puffed, crunchy beef crisps, which was quite disappointing. Rice was not included and cost an extra €5, but it couldn’t be ordered for one person — only shared between two. Even then, the portion was so small it was barely enough for one person. Overall, the food portions were extremely small for the price charged. While the service was good, the experience didn’t justify the cost, and I left feeling disappointed rather than satisfied.

06/01/2026: I was at the game last Saturday and there was a lot of disorganization at the bars. The card machines had no internet connection, so it wasn’t possible to make payments, and the manager, a bald gentleman, was quite disrespectful to the customers. On top of that, the place was extremely warm, and it felt like the air conditioning wasn’t turned on.

07/12/2025: Worst food ive had in Dublin and im a Dub. The steak in the beef and Guinness stew was totally inedible lumps of rubber and this cost €20, thats unacceptable really. The gujons consisted of 4 pieces of hard chicken and few dry chips. It was very disappointing because we were enjoying the pub until then. I told the server and he just said "sorry about that." We left hungry broke and rather angry

08/10/2025: The restaurant itself is good, but the customer service really needs improvement. One of the staff members — apparently a Mexican guy — tends to speak and say “thank you” by shouting, which is very uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time it has happened, so it seems to be a recurring issue. There’s a clear lack of manners and tact when dealing with customers, because shouting “thank you” isn’t the same as being friendly. It comes across as rude and even a bit arrogant. It would be great if the restaurant could provide better guidance to the staff on how to communicate properly with customers.

01/03/2025: I’ve been ordering from FatCow for over a year, and their quality never drops. The burgers are consistently tasty and juicy, while the chips are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. My favorite burger in town!

25/02/2025: You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put a lot of care into making them. Every bite is delicious 🤤

15/01/2026: Everything is well thought out and understandable. Clean! Many cafes where you can eat or take with you. Near the station there is a red tram line and buses No. 2 and No. 4, which are convenient for getting to the center and the Ukrainian embassy.

24/12/2025: Thank you to the staff member who ran a few hundred metres after us when we headed off running to the wrong platform (no. 1 in error). Thanks to his effort, we just made our Christmas Eve day trip to Limerick. Thank you. Thank you.

15/01/2026: This Starbucks saved us! We were walking around Howth and it was freezing! Here we were able to warm up and recharge. The place is spacious and nice and warm. Recommended.

02/01/2026: Holiday tea is a must if you are in town! The service was great and very accommodating for restrictions. My husband tried several different teas. Sandwiches and pastries were good!

10/11/2025: Its not one of the highest rated afternoon teas in Dublin for no reason! Can't fault anything. Usually theres something on one of the tears I dont enjoy at an afternoon tea, but this was the first time i enjoyed everything! Tea/coffee selection was really good, though I have seen larger menus. I highly recommend
