The best restaurants in Dublin

22/10/2024: Went with my mother and my girlfriend. When we went upstairs it looked nice with all the decorations of Halloween etc, however the floor was sticky which means it wasn’t washed well reminded me of a late night pub, however we sat down from a nice waitress and took a look at the menu, my mother got ribs to start and we just waited while she finished so we get our mains, I tasted a rib for myself and it felt like you were chewing gum and not the meat itself which means that it was just boiled not cooked, wasn’t the best ribs, for our mains it just wasn’t as tasty we had noodles. felt a lot of just vegetables in my mouth with not a lot of flavour, just like eating plain carrots and other veg Overall the food for us was very poor that’s why I rated it very low because the most important thing in a restaurant is food

19/10/2024: Fantastic restaurant, delicious food, one of our favourite places to go for authentic Thai food. The staff are super friendly and we really love it here

29/03/2024: I read the 1 star review just now after eating at this place. I had to opposite experience with my wife. The food server was extremely nice and fun. Food was delish. We split wings and duck rolls for the starter = 10/10. She had the bento box 6.5/10 and the only critisim for the susi was as follows; Crab wasn't the but the salmon was lovely. She would recommend choosing sushi options rather than go chefs choice. I had the satay and was surprised at how lovely it was because I really love satay 9/10 and I've a high bar for it! Definitely would recommend it. Also, it's hard to find a place for couple where 1 person doesn't eat sushi and the other wants more than a katsu curry option. I don't mind that it's in a bar and I've had the bar food before and the bar food is good value for what it is.

18/03/2024: Food is fresh with reasonable price. Staff is very friendly. Will come back next time.

21/10/2024: Had the nicest tasting breakfast roll here today. Have been here several times before when passing and have to say best quality food and great craic with the staff. Highly recommend this place for bite to eat

09/09/2024: It’s very hard to find a good cafe, but with Val’s the search is over. The food is unbelievable from breakfast fare to dinner, all freshly made . So very friendly, great atmosphere and great service. You can’t go wrong here.

10/11/2024: Ok the ice cream 🍦🍨 is flipping fire 🔥 but for 3 scoops of Ice cream 🍦 it cost 7euro they also have crepes, waffles, milkshakes,macaroons, Cake and coffee ☕

09/11/2024: The place would benefit from a more varied selection of music. Additionally, the employees look wrecked and unwilling to serve the clients attentively. This might have to do with extremely long shifts given by the employers. A wider variety of fruits for the crepes would be appreciated.

29/10/2024: Great place for pre theatre for before going to the Gate. Lovely menu and staff are excellent. Reasonable value for money.

26/09/2024: We had a wonderful evening at Le Six. The setting is absolutely sublime, from the moment you enter the welcome is warm. We were accompanied by Vishal throughout the meal, who advised us with expertise and sympathy both on the dishes and the accompanying wines, he was absolutely perfect and made our evening even more special! Thanks to him and the whole team, we will come back with pleasure!

29/09/2024: Cracking pub, with good outdoor area.

20/08/2024: Went here for a quick bite and a few beers. The steak sandwich was absolutely delicious! The meat was really tender and the taste of everything was really good! Fish and chips were okay too, although a bit lacking salt. The atmosphere of the pub was nice and it wasn't too full, as we visited on a Tuesday. The waiting staff could be a tad more friendly. All in all, I can totally recommend this place, order the steak sandwich!

11/09/2024: Went today to use a voucher I received, I found the guy in Training Matt (I’m pretty sure that was his name) very rude. I understand completely when a new person is learning and I was very patient with him but I found his actual demeanour very rude and he lacked any customer skills at all. The staff on shift with him were just as bad. Disappointed as it was my birthday and I left feeling pretty annoyed

13/11/2024: Have been here on numerous occasions for brunch. Always a good and reliable spot in the centre of Dublin. Must visit ❤️

03/11/2024: Service was great, we had a new service person who looked after us very well. The food was absolutely delicious.

07/07/2024: I can’t help it, I just love Starbucks. I always have caramel macchiato. The pretzel bun sandwiches are the best. And the Brookie … omg 🤤

05/10/2024: I ordered a brown sugar milk boba tea. I don’t know if it’s the Irish milk, but it has an interesting aftertaste. The tapioca was a bit too chewy, the taste was alright. The syrup did mix well with the milk. Don’t let me start about the atmosphere. I feel like this was the worst interior I have seen so far, didn’t feel welcoming at all. If only you would paint the walls completely white it would’ve been 10x better. Super unfortunate since the location is near a the popular street of the temple bar. Overall experience 2/5 :(

02/11/2024: Went there last night, were very rudely told to wait outsidefor a table. The sign inside said: Please wait to be seated". There wereanother family waiting on a table, we were ignored and after 10 minutes the waitress weretaking food to a table and decided to tell us to wait outside for a table. Needless to say we left, will never return as their food are not even great, just needed a quick bite. I would rather drive to Eddie Rockets Dundrum or Eastgate, excellent food and service. This gives Tallaght a bad name.
