17/10/2024: A quiet traditional pub near a very cold bus stop in Rathmines. A haven of peace. Courteous pleasant well trained staff that are all too rare.

25/08/2024: Traditional music, great vibe and amazing service!

26/10/2024: The food could be called anything but fresh. The bueno donut I got must have been sitting there for 2 weeks. The bueno chocolate bar was mushy, bueno bars are crunchy so this is why I say it must have been there for a long long time. If items aren’t selling, change the options, not just leave food there chancing a full price sale. Nice coffee but disappointing food considering the price point

24/10/2024: Such a gem in the middle of the chaos that is Camden street! The decoration is super cozy and demure 💅 All staff is friendly and helpful, I even got a taste of a new cocktail that the bartender (Gregg) created and was delicious! The bouncer, Lee, was so kind and thoughtful and even gave us recommendations to continue our night. He welcomed us with a smile, such a big difference with other bouncers around the surrounding pubs! We came another night and live music was on, Pedro is a fantastic singer and so talented! Great spot for casual drinks and chatter and we would definelty come back, super well recommended!

19/10/2024: We visited this pub with its stunning interior décor, arriving just after the kitchen had closed. Despite this, the staff went out of their way to suggest a solution: they encouraged us to grab food from a nearby place (which had no seating) and enjoy it back at the pub. It was such a thoughtful gesture, allowing us to relax with some great beers in their beautifully designed space. The combination of friendly service and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere made for a perfect evening, even without their own food on offer.

01/03/2024: Could do with a GOOD CLEAN. Not sure the place is cleaned or hoovered daily?! Certainly not after a Saturday?! Sundays, broken glass on the floor! Toilets could and should be cleaned at last once a day? Milk jugs obviously left out as there was something floating on the milk!! Sad... it is the only pub in the area?! Too many screens with different sporting events shown?! Pointless as you can't hear a thing? The place badly needs updating, modernisation. Coffee machine, sandwiches etc. Could do with investing... Staff are great and friendly.

20/10/2024: This Pub is really nice and they are Pet Friendly 🐕. We got 2 🍺 and when they saw that we have our Golden Retriever with us (we were sitting outside) they immediatly brought her a treat, a pot of water and offer us to go inside 🤩. Even though they didn't sell food, they politetly told us we could get food from another place. Definetly we will come back! Great Service and great Staff.👏🏼

20/10/2024: This is one of the good bars in Blackrock. It has everything you want. Sports on TV, music, pool table and a really good view. They have outside seating, which you need to take advantage of, especially in the sun. Staff are friendly. And above it all dogs are welcome here are my babies enjoying it. Worth a visit

19/07/2024: The bar itself is quite nice, but it was the weirdest thing. The lounge girl was literally walking back and fourth in the space of 3 meters because her boss was making her do that to "check on the area" even though there were only like 5 people there. Really made us uncomfortable as she looked like she was having a schizophrenic attack or something. Really made the place feel less like a relaxing pub and more like watching a bar girl being punished or hazed or something. Beer was a fair price though.

02/11/2024: Nice fish, good atmosphere. Would recommend prices are a bit expensive . Had the gambas for main course and they were lovely, one issue could have removed stomach issues when they butterflied them. Also would have been nice to have some bread to mop up nice sauce Service charge automatically included which would not expect for a party of 2 people.

17/10/2024: We went here on a cold night, and ordered like half the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. Every dish was packed with flavor and cooked with love by Lucas. A few nights later, we also went to the highly rated Matt the Thresher seafood restaurant, and was totally disappointed (see my separate review). Seafood Cafe was so good, that we went back again the day after Matt the Thresher for lunch. They also have a lunch special menu. Again, every dish was absolutely delicious and freshly cooked to order. Prices were also very reasonable, and worth every penny. Recommend reservations. If you love seafood, this is a must visit

11/11/2024: I was in there yesterday with my elderly mother. The carvery is odd, with pre-cut beef and dried out beef pie. It looked awful. Anyway the upside is that the place isn't overrun with small kids. We got 2x small portions of the carvery, which is like canteen food. Nothing special, self service etc. €15 each! Astonishingly expensive. Never, ever again.

20/10/2024: Stayed here for an event. This is a really well run family hotel, will definitely return soon the food was superb and my wife who is gluten free was looked after here like no other hotel we have been to. The gluten free breakfast was super. Dinner and dessert options that are gluten free were super & delicious also. All sauces and gravy is gluten free and are really nice for everyone. Late in the evening at the event a platter of gluten free food that arrived was also really impressive. All the food I had every time (not gluten free) was tops too. See my pic, unfortunately it was the only one we took but this was some of my wifes gluten free breakfast that she could not fault! The bar was really nice also. Room was really clean, fresh and the bed was very comfy. Ample parking and not wedged in which is something i like especially when you have a good car!

02/11/2024: Visited riot earlier in the day so the place wasn't in full swing yet. The burgers are very good and the friends I brought with me were blown away. I will caveat that it may have been their first smash burger! Portions and prices are good given the central location and the burgers were out fast. Service was good but it was quiet so would expect some delay as the place picked up. Atmosphere was fine, there was only a dozen or so people in the place but each group enjoying themselves. They do good cocktails here too so one to visit later in the evening.

27/10/2024: ¡¡¡¡I've been in Ireland for a year and a half and it was my favorite bar until they changed the bouncers, they refused entry to me and my friends in a rude way, I understand it's their job to manage the entry, but no need to be rude, disrespectful and much more, besides refusing entry for no reason, friends come from the same well!!!!
