The best restaurants in Dublin

26/05/2025: Food took almost an hour to arrive and was cold.

25/05/2025: Went here 24/5/25 around 7 ocklock, a friend reccomended it to us, first off, the servers took ages for drinks, and a while when we asked for the bill, the food was good portion size, but i found that even tho it was big the food wasnt very fresh, it was quite pricey too 100+ euro for a family of 4, no alcahol beverages, we only had starters and mains, bear in mind we payed 80€ for 5 people a couple of weeks ago in a neighbouring restraunt, overall an ok expiernce wouldnt return soon tho

15/05/2025: As a regular customer, I was really disappointed with my recent visit. I ordered an espresso and asked for it to be served in a medium takeaway cup instead of the small one. I was told that it could only be served in the small cup without a lid, and that this was the manager’s rule. I paid €3.40, which is not cheap, and expected a bit more flexibility and better service especially as someone who comes here often. The way it was handled felt dismissive and unwelcoming. I left feeling disappointed and undervalued. I hope the management rethinks policies like this, as they really impact the customer experience.

06/05/2025: OK the food is a bit expensive but I got a massive, delicious quesadilla - definitely worth the price. The staff are very friendly and there’s a few seats outside where people seem to like to chill out for a bit with their coffee. If you’re staying nearby I’d recommend coming here for breakfast before going into town or continuing on to the park.

07/04/2025: One of the worst coffees I've had in Dublin. We wanted to get something refreshing before going into Phoenix Park and I checked this place out on maps, saw some good reviews and decided to go in. We got two vanilla iced americanos and I only managed to finish it because I kept reminding myself I paid 5,50 for it. The lady was pleasant and the toilet was clean ( and the tables outside were very cute under the sun) but the coffee was just bad.

01/05/2025: Nice selection of cakes and buns etc. Good cappuccino and ok value

26/04/2025: Got a coffee and sat outside, had to ask for sugar. Sugar arrived no spoon!!

05/04/2025: I got chicken curry with chips tonight and to be honest the chicken was still pink and the chips was half warm and half cold this is not the first time this has happened to me from this chipper in Finglas west

22/05/2025: I have been a huge fan of San Sab for years. I go to Drumcondra branch every week and have done for the last few years, even make an appearance to Clontarf the odd time also. The last few experiences have not been so pleasant for me. I’ll start with Clontarf, myself and my partner went a few weeks back and were greeted to the place busy as usual which I love to see! We were told to wait 20 mins which was no problem. Then we waited 45/50 mins and was told the kitchen was taking last orders soon and not sure if they could take us, after telling us they would have a table ready. Food was poor and then staff which seemed to be young were quite rude. Drumcondra service has been quite bad lately, we received some cold chicken skewers, I had ordered bao buns without cucumber and it came with cucumber then when returned staff weren’t so pleasant. Disappointing experiences lately which is annoying! As I love the place and the food is amazing

11/05/2025: Incredibly disappointing, I Ordered a Tofu spicebag and regular spicebag for takeaway because I heard it was “the best” , as soon as I opened the bag oil poured out of it and I could see straight away it was incredibly soggy and oily. The spicebag itself was a big enough portion but tasted like it was covered in sugar syrup and had no flavour or taste at all! Service was very good and staff were very nice but the spicebag was not good at all!

21/04/2025: Cheapest pints in dublin and food 5 pints and burger and chips 16.70 euros.

30/05/2025: Perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth, fresh, cheesy goodness with all the perfect burger fixings. Fast service, clean shop. Perfect for the weary traveler or someone whose hit the pub a little too hard

24/05/2025: Very good burgers, however fries were way too salty and no more milkshakes at 8 p.m.... too bad

13/06/2025: If we could give 0 we would. They advertise as the best Fish & Chips in Dublin well we’d hate to see the worst. What was served up to us wasn’t fit to serve to an animal (Fish & Chips and Chicken Tenders & Chips). Over cooked & dry. Absolutely disgusting and would never recommend the to any other traveller. We now know why there were no locals eating there

13/06/2025: We had the mini breakfast, and it was worth it. Despite being centrally located, the price was reasonable. The breakfast was good, and the service was friendly.

01/06/2025: Delicious burgers and fries and great service usually when I go to the Capel St branch. My second time here at the Kevin St branch and I was really not impressed with the service. We ordered 2 burgers, a double smash, and a triple smash. I always get the triple, so in the middle of eating mine, I noticed it was just 2 patties in it. I went back up to the server with my burger, and she assured me that it was a triple. If you look at the picture, it clearly is not. We even checked the other burger, and it was a double. A customer beside us also got a triple, and it was very obvious there were 3 patties in it. I don't recommend the Kevin St branch if this is the service one will get.

24/05/2025: They had the best burger I have ever tried. The staff are always so friendly.

20/04/2025: I have been several times and they have always treated me great, everything was great and super friendly. My favorite is the gut buster meal although I have loved everything I have tried there.

13/04/2025: We're visiting from Canada and just ate takeaway wings, burgers and fries from here, absolutely delicious! Huge portions, super friendly staff. Would eat from here anytime!
