Always such friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. The tuna tostadas and the pig's head are unreal.
Always such good fun here, great atmosphere and good music.
11/11/2024: The prices were a little high for the snack-like Mexican food and alcohol, but the portions were adequate. The only thing I liked was that they had 3 types of chili sauce.

25/10/2024: Unfussy menu, excellent produce clearly cooked to perfection, Fodder is a real surprise at the rear of the splendidly stocked and chic Avoca café and deli, fronting Shelbourne Road. Good for "business lunches" and treats at the weekend, have only been there midweek so maybe there's more of a buzz at the weekend..
30/09/2024: Look I’m sure the food was good but I wouldn’t know because they made me wait for 5 minutes by the host stand while they said they’d be over in “2 seconds” doing menial tasks that absolutely could’ve waited an actual 2 seconds just to come over and tell me the kitchen was closed. Why would you make me wait that long just to say you’re not serving food and wouldn’t be for another 45 minutes? Surely give me a heads up?

15/06/2024: I was visiting Dublin for just a few days, and ended up stopping in every day :) The baristas are lovely people! The coffee is tasty and reasonably priced. And they are connected to the The Well next-door which has lots of food options and alcohol.
13/05/2024: Coffee was mediocre and the staff member did not speak a single word to me through our entire interaction. No acknowledgement of my order, didn't tell me the price, just pointed the machine at me and no 'enjoy, thank you, goodbye'. Nothing. Was a brief and unpleasant experience

12/08/2024: I hate to have to write this about a local business but It’s hard to believe that it is open so long with what is on offer. I had a salad bowl where the chicken was so tough I had to give it to my dog. The options for any other additions were so limited I would have made better at home. With options close like Baabaa and Melo I wouldn’t waste your time eating here.

01/10/2024: The food and service is always 10/10. All staff are really friendly, especially Lisa. She always goes above and beyond, no matter how busy they are. Food is gorgeous and the coffee is to die for. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

20/11/2024: There were three of us there for dinner. Service was somewhat ok. You can order your food/drinks using your cell phone. I ordered the “Spice Bag”. Wasn't my case. Only consisted of soft fries, two small strips of chicken and fried cauliflower. (It's better to order a burger). Guinness was right. It was a bit cold in the back area so you had to sit there with a winter jacket. The people are nice and it looks cozy too. It's good for drinking, but I wouldn't eat there again.

04/09/2024: I really liked that little cafe and I frequented it a lot. However, after I asked for the code to the toilet and to be told it's for customer's use only while me and my partner were sitting with two coffees we bought I wouldn't return. I dont go to a cafe to be put down and accused of not being a paid customer. The employee needs to open her eyes and see the purchased items before making conclusions.
