The best restaurants in Dublin

26/03/2026: We’ve been to Camden several times before and always had a great experience, but tonight we were denied entry simply because we are women. The security guard didn’t even check our IDs, even though we’ve never had any issues getting in before. On top of that, he mocked us from a distance, laughing, and turned away several other groups of women as well. While we were putting our cards away, he even rushed us to clear off the sidewalk. Very disappointing. We just want it to see a football game for Ireland to be qualified for world cup… Football is not men only !!!

16/11/2025: Had the most amazing evening here with a specially curated wine tasting and food pairing for our mama group night out. The food was delicious and the wine selection from pinxtos was excellent...the meat and cheese boards and blue cheese bruschetta were particular highlights. Atmosphere was cozy and welcoming and the value for money was incredible! Will definitely be back for girls night outs!

13/03/2026: I never order agin it’s old rice.i order like .10 o’clock chicken rice and rice is like sit it’s old rice chicken it’s smelling very bad.

30/01/2026: We've passed this place for years but never stopped in but did for the first time two weeks ago and again tonight. It's excellent. Family run and it shows. The pizza is utterly delicious. Thin base with a unique crunch cooked to perfection. We will keep coming back!

04/12/2025: Milk Issues!! Used to love going here for a coffee then a relaxing walk on the beach but not anymore. The number of times, usually after 12 on a Saturday or Sunday, there’s been a chalkboard sign on display saying ‘No Milk’ is becoming frustrating. I appreciate running a business is tough, managing the flow and ebb of customer demand, but I prefer my coffee with milk, not oat or soy alternatives. How can they seem to consistently run out of milk, regularly.You’d think that would be a low tide for a coffee shop. Love the people, the service and the coffee when I’m lucky enough to get one. Unfortunately, the ‘No Milk’ issue is leaving a sour taste in my mouth. Please sort it out and then I’ll be back.

29/06/2025: Wollte zur "Happy Hour" ein paar kleine Austern verspeisen und hatte mich wirklich schon gefreut...setze mich hin und bestelle 6 Stück...nach 5min kommt der Wein, leider keine Austern dazu. Nach weiteren 15min höfliche Nachfrage, es dauert noch weil andere Bestellungen vor mir. Nach weiteren 20min immer noch keine Austern, auf Nachfrage "es würde nicht mehr lange dauern", Wein nachgeordert mit dem dezenten Hinweis, dass der wohl hoffentlich aufs Haus geht. Nach weiteren 15min (kein Witz) kamen dann endlich 6 schlecht geöffnete Austern, mein Wein war leer und es gab auch keinen Nachschlag. Beim Zahlen dann auch keine Happy Hour und auf dann eher verärgerte Nachfrage nach dem "Wein aufs Haus", insgesamt 38€ für 6 mickrige Austern und zwei zeitversetzte Weinchen und eine Stunde Zeitaufwand. Unglaublich und wirklich sehr enttäuschend, hat mir den Nachmittag ordentlich verdorben.

30/09/2025: We went in on a Saturday morning around 11 - for an late breakfast / early lunch. The place was buzzing and we didn't have to wait for a table at all. Food was amazing (I went for the Full Irish). Staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was served so quickly. Will defitely be returning!

26/12/2025: Two night stay. Standard room which was clean, warm and large enough to accommodate two. Breakfast included in rate. Reception and dining room staff all exceptionally courteous and helpful. Good variety of hot and cold dishes available for breakfast. Dinner menu is standard fare @ thirty euro per plate. Quiet atmosphere given the time of year. Few guests. Situated on the busy N81 road in Tallaght so some might find the traffic noise intrusive. Ample compliment ary car parking available. One of the few hotels that remain open for the entire Christmas period in Ireland, seemingly. Only one negative observation - the lighting in both the bedroom and the restaurant area is rather dim and makes reading difficult. Very good value for money overall. Three star hotel but a four star guest experience.

17/09/2025: Just had the best meal in Dublin in 3 days. Fine dining food at great value! The beef cheek is to die for and and front of house team are so warm and welcoming thanks to all and especially Vish for a fantastic experience. I will definitely be back!

10/09/2025: Staff was fantastic. The place is nice but cannot understand why they do not have tables. I had an excellent flat white... but for 5 euros! Not even in Greystones I pay so much for a coffee. No wonder why it is always empty.

08/10/2025: No exaggeration I think this is the best latte in Dublin. Staff are really friendly and it's always a chill vibe. (Sausage rolls are also great)

28/09/2025: Container Coffee is a lovely little find. The design is fresh and unexpected — it feels creative rather than overly styled — which gives it a relaxed, modern charm. Because of its layout and openness, it’s a great spot when the sun’s out: you can soak up the light, enjoy your drink, and feel connected to the surroundings. The location is very convenient, with easy access, making it ideal for a spontaneous stop or as a meeting point. It’s neither tucked away nor overly exposed — just the right balance. If I were visiting, I’d go especially on a bright day, take a seat where I can see and feel the light, order something simple and good, and sit back for a bit. It’s the kind of café that makes even a short stop feel a little moment of pause.

17/03/2026: What was €12 is now €20. You could eat in 80% of Dublin restaurants for the price of a takeaway main course here now. Why bother?

16/03/2026: The spice bag with a side of curry sauce will literally have me dreaming for weeks. I visited Dublin and got one of their very well priced spice bags and it was delicious. The flavor profile of the chicken and fries alone is great, but when you add the curry sauce it’s somehow even better. One bag is more than enough to share for two people. Space in the restaurant is limited but the food comes out hot and is extremely easy to take out instead.
