23/08/2025: I absolutely love calling into Mackey’s cafe every weekend. The food is always delish & served hot. Coffee is great & staff are friendly and always up for the chats! Perfect walking distance from the forest too

27/03/2026: Prior to its closure I had been a regular (once or twice a week) customer of Cinnamon Monkstown. So I dropped in to the Ranelagh branch yesterday expecting a similar experience. I could not have been more wrong. The service was stand-offish and slow, with some items not making it to the table at all. I ordered the pancakes which were lovely but half the portion size that I was used to getting in Monkstown. My husband ordered the cajun chicken wrap, again the portion was considerably smaller. It came with no side salad, was tasteless and had very little chicken in it. My husband complained and the waitress asked if he would like a fresh one. He said he would. After a couple of minutes the waitress returned with the same plate of food, saying that the kitchen said a fresh wrap would just be the same. My husband said he wouldn't eat it and asked her to take the food away. He was not offered an alternative dish. My husband then asked to speak to the manager, Shane. Shane said that we would have to pay for the wrap, despite my husband not eating it. He was rude, obstinate and unwilling to provide any level of customer service one would expect from a cafe/restaurant. I note that some previous reviewers had an almost identical encounter. Overall, our experience was very disappointing and we will not be returning. Avoid!

26/03/2026: I ordered the Cajun chicken but was really disappointed as there was no flavour and certainly no spice. I informed the waitress who took the plate away. She returned a couple of minutes later with the same plate saying there was nothing she could do. I went to the counter to pay. Shane the manager tried to charge me for the food I sent back. I refused and paid for what my wife had eaten. Shane followed me out of the shop and threatened me with publishing details of my refusal to pay in a whattap group and social media. Cinnamon will be hearing from my solicitors

16/03/2026: Disappointing to find pub was closed even thought it advertised as opened. No answer I called when I called the venue.

24/02/2026: From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our server knew the menu inside out and made great recommendations. The food was outstanding: each dish beautifully presented with bold, fresh flavors. We especially loved the perfectly cooked mains and the dessert was the best we’ve had in ages.

05/04/2026: Very bad experience. The pizza was not good and the garlic sauce was terrible. Staff behavior was rude and customer service was poor. Would not recommend at all.

05/04/2026: I recently ordered small Chicken Tikka pizza from Quick pizza and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The biggest issue was that there was barely any chicken on the pizzas. It honestly felt like I was just eating plain bread with sauce. When you order a Chicken Tikka pizza, especially as part of a deal, you expect a proper amount of toppings but this was far from acceptable. On top of that, the staff behavior was not good. There was a lack of professionalism and no proper response to the complaint, which made the experience even worse. Overall, very dissatisfied. Both the food quality and customer service need serious improvement. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously.

28/07/2025: Absolutely magnificent restaurant experience at Sands Mediterranean in Clontarf. The food here is to die for...we ordered the best Frutti di Mare pizza ever with the most delicious seafood toppings, the wonderful baked hake with pasta and the freshly battered fish and chips. The garlic pizza starter went down a treat and the triple cooked chips and garlic mayo are superb. Mick and his staff are the best and so welcoming and accommodating. This was another really top notch dining experience and I highly recommend putting Sands Mediterranean on your list of restaurants to try in Clontarf. 5 stars all day long!

30/11/2025: Amazing little coffee shop with fantastic espresso and baked goods! Highly recommend getting a cup to go before walking the River Lee if in the Blackrock area.

10/08/2025: Thai chicken burger was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Music was quite loud but was turned down a notch on request. Smoking area could be improved.

25/06/2025: Came here for a private event following a wedding and it was simply fantastic! Great place that ended up accommodating 60+ people. Food was BBQ style and made to order. Drinks were reasonably priced for Dublin (can be quite pricey!) however had a great selection of lagers and spirits. Had live entertainment which was not overwhelming followed by opening up of a small dance floor. Definitely a great place for a small gathering!

01/01/2026: Food was tasty but very pricey for takeaway. There are less expensive places with equal quality in the area.2 mains with sides and 2 starters was almost €60.

25/05/2025: It was surprisingly nice! We went at random google search. But the Food was so good! It’s an Italian cafe, they bake fresh ciabatta and it’s so nice! We tried Spicy Chicken & Bacon Sandwich, Lemon Cake & Apple Pie and everything was just gorgeous! And all fresh ingredients… Definitely recommend!

30/01/2026: Amazing food , really busy place and sometimes you need to run to find someone to support , our order getting lost and one of the staff with really , don't care attitude with our request for our baby high chair.

16/07/2025: Ordered a acai bowl which had mould fruits. When we complained the server just removed the mouldy fruit and said it is fine to eat now. Not sure if they practise any hygiene in there. If you don’t want to get food poisoning than avoid this place.
