27/03/2026: Amazing experience, lovely food and nice staff

19/03/2026: Eddie Rockets really has gone downhill. The prices have stayed high as I remember, but the portions have got smaller and the food quality has gotten worse. The chocolate milkshakes barely tasted of chocolate, closer to vanilla than anything else. I actually said it to the staff who asked if we wanted them to remake it, I agreed and they essentially brought back the same thing, I didn't really notice much of a difference. Even the colour wasn't how it used to be, they were much paler. The wings honestly appeared to me like they had been made hours before and just reheated and had a bit of sauce put on them to make them appear fresh, but if you see the photos you can see the sauce appears baked onto them. There was also what looks like a feather on one of the wings. Chips portions were small enough. As was the "kitchen sink nachos" which were really lacking in the chilli beef, by the time the beef was gone there was still an abundance of nachos, wasn't a whole lot of cheese either. Bathrooms weren't in the best condition either, toilet was dirty when I went in. Staff were ok, the girl who asked if we wanted the milkshakes remade at least made the effort but she did come across a bit like she thought it was fine, kept saying "they're made with chocolate ice cream". The guy who took the payment never asked if everything was OK with the food either. Just took payment and that's it. It was a terrible experience overall tbh specially considering the prices. Won't be back to this place again. Eddie Rockets really has lost it's touch. Feels like they're cutting corners while keeping prices high and just hoping people will either not notice or just accept it.

14/12/2025: Nearly 50 euro for burger and chips and nuggets and chip for delivery, you would expect something above the ordinary, not here my friends, burger missing from order, food presented very poorly and lukewarm , first world problem I know, but still annoying when food missing from order, they had one job and all that, nil points

28/12/2025: This restaurant is my new favourite dinner spot. I have only been once and everything about the experience was lovely. The waitress was extremely kind, the atmosphere was calm and the food was focused on fresh ingredients with amazing taste. I can’t wait to come back here again ♡

14/12/2025: I have been here about 4 times now and food has always been great but unfortunately the service lets this place down. The last time I thought it was just an off night by the staff but last night confirmed that they are not interested in their customers. We felt like we were an inconvenience. I felt they wanted us out from the moment we sat down. Very rushed . Terrible service. We won’t be going back which is a shame as the food is very good.

22/03/2026: It's a reasonable hotel, the rooms are a bit dated but comfortable, the hotel is near the bus station so easy to find, staff are friendly and helpful, the food in the bar is not great in fact the fish and chips go on my all time worst in hotels and restaurants, breakfast was good and plenty of choice.

26/08/2025: had the best takeaway I’ve had in a long time from Saaep Thai! We ordered the beef black bean stir fry with chips and rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were really generous, the beef was cooked perfectly tender, and the vegetables were fresh and full of flavour. Everything was well balanced, not too heavy, and really satisfying. I’ll definitely be ordering again – highly recommend!

31/08/2025: Ordered for delivery and it was amazing! We got a pizza and a kebab, the pizza was so soft and fresh topped off with chicken, mushrooms, peppers, corn and ham it was delicious. Then we ordered a kebab and it was so tasteful and the food arrived still very warm which was a plus. Will definitely order again as it was quick and easy and staff was helpful explaining the different types of pizzas you can order. Highly recommend!!

30/08/2025: I ordered from this takeaway recently and was really impressed! The pizza was spot on – fresh, tasty, and with a nice crispy base. The kebab was packed with flavour, generous in portion, and really satisfying. The food was ready quickly, still hot when I picked it up, and the staff were friendly and polite. It’s definitely one of the best spots around for a quick, delicious meal. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

01/12/2025: Service was slow. Had ceaser salad and was very plain mostly lettuce leaves. Decor could do with freshing up.

06/12/2025: Stopped I on my way by. They serve Kilkenny on draft which is rare. Supposed to have 1 but had to have another. As the barman said, a bird never flew on one wing. Gorgeous pint. I'm not local, but next time going to Croker, I'll go out of my way to drop in

20/12/2025: Had a fabulous meal in the Cornernote on Friday evening (it’s now open on Thurs, Fri & Sat evenings). Food, wine, ambience and service were all superb. Great vegetarian options. I highly recommend it.

19/12/2025: Spent a lovely winter’s evening enhanced by heartwarming delicious food, perfect for the time of year. Waiter was excellent, patient and friendly. Would return tomorrow if I could!

07/02/2026: This is a terrible resturant! ! ! Here is why. I asked for a pizza and the chef said ok, but the chef asked me for tips. What ? The pizza came and it was €26 i think and the pizza was likely not cooked but it was so bad. It taste like a rock. The pizza taste like it had no flavor, and it was very bad, and 25% burned. This is terrible! One star is too much. I want to give it 0 stars ! They did this another time once !! Im never coming back here again, in my life, ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!

08/09/2025: €8.60 for medium breakfast, then go to pay and asking for €12.20, tea isn't included in the breakfast price. €3.60 for a tea for one with a breakfast, where do you think you are, Bewleys on Grafton st? This is an industrial estate off the naas road. Scandalous.
