The best restaurants in Dublin

29/02/2024: They do lovely coffee here. Add the friendly 5 star service and the sense of space (the tables are spaced well apart) and you have a worthwhile destination.

09/01/2024: Unfortunately Ive just had a highly unpleasant experience there. Merely asked politely if they had sandwiches to go and server snapped back that there was a menu on wall outside, turned and walked away. I found ‘menu outside’ went back in and asked for the chicken. Again server retorted rudely and aggressively “thats going to be 20 minutes” At which point I think the entire exchange was unacceptable customer service. I fully accept the message but the tone of delivering that message was just appalling. Don’t pass your bad day on to customers.

10/07/2024: A peak level classic chip shop the chicken is amazing seasoning is perfection, great value not too expensive and top quality, best chips around. Service is great very friendly and helpful great staff. Delivery is quite fast also. However can be very busy at times as it’s quite popular so understandably not always guaranteed. Good standard of cleanliness.

25/04/2024: Nice lil stop off for snacks teas/coffees by halfway house. Its become a regular stop off for a 99 icecream

03/06/2024: Wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did because of their limited menu. But my chorizo salad was a hit not only with me but with my wife and my picky daughter, leaving me to eat from other plates! Chicken salad was a bit bland but other good was good if basic.

06/05/2024: A nicely subdued place to enjoy a quiet lunch away from the crowds whilst waiting for a train (it's less than 10 mins walk from Heuston Station). Delicious assortment of flavours in a poke bowl at reasonable prices for the city. Efficient, no fuss service too.

14/10/2023: When you get there and see it’s a hatch at the side of a barber shop it’s a bit like “wait what?” But honestly EXCELLENT coffee, best in the area for me.

20/11/2024: It is a couple of years since we last ate here at Port House Pintxo. We were pleased to discover that they now accept reservations as this wasn’t always the case. It was a busy Thursday evening. We ordered 10 dishes for three of us and were very happy and satisfied with our selection. Our food was delicious and reasonably priced. Your chef and his team certainly know what they are doing. We chose a bottle of red from the interesting wine list which was a good price too. Service was friendly and efficient also. We have just one negative comment though: we were sitting in the front of the restaurant to the left of the entrance but the lighting was so dim we simply could not see what we were eating! Please take another look at this. However, all in all, we enjoyed our dinner and will visit again soon.

19/10/2024: We had the best full Irish we've had in years. Lovely clean spot with friendly staff. Couldn't say anything but good The hasbrowns and pudding were exceptional.

05/10/2024: I went into Foodfare and ordered the Fish & Chips. About 10/15 minutes, I was served a beautiful plate with a nice portion of chips, a nice piece of fish, a side salad, and coleslaw. I cleared my plate. I certainly will be back here again soon.

29/10/2024: came here yestyerday food was diabolical everything was burn to a crisp chicken was crunchy and disgusting coudlt eat lack of service from staff,staff didt want to help would rather talk to each other 40 euro wasted on food we coudlt eat not happy at all not very clean was taking staff ages to clean the tables there was no sauce left at the self help area cause they were all on empty tables waiting to be cleaned staff members also going around asking people to post a good review in her name and then offering them free food if they post it.

03/11/2024: Stayed for 2 nights with 2 rooms for 4 of us. Easy to find,park and check in. Rooms a little small but very clean and all well equipped. Bar food exceptional as we're the staff,especially the lady with the red hair in the bar.

27/10/2024: This is a fantastic place to stay. It has really cozy rooms and it's old and historic. It has a great selection of food and drinks. The people are very nice. The staff are extremely helpful and willing to go the extra distance for you, it has excellent food and the portions are very large. You get breakfast in the morning.If you choose to purchase that with your room. If you need taxis or lyft, they come right to the hotel and it's right next to a dual carriage, lucan village is about ten minute walk where you can catch buses straight into dublin city itself. 17/09/2024: The food was really good! I really enjoyed wrapping the shredded duck and other fillings and pouring some sauce in! It wasn't the dish I intended to order but one that was still worth it

21/09/2024: Just had a takeaway from here. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement!!.. I ordered a beef stir fry with ginger and there wasn't the slightest taste of ginger- in fact there wasn't the slightest taste of anything!!..It was by far the blandest meal I have eaten in some time, if not ever!! ..and it cost me almost €18 delivered. Never again !
