The best restaurants in Dublin

01/08/2025: Assolutamente da provare. Si trova nel pieno di Temple Bar ma, a differenza di altri locali, qui non c'è il frastuono della musica live. Cibi squisiti e personale simpatico e molto veloce. Noi abbiamo provato la beef stuve, super buona. Se andate nelle serate di grande afflusso dovete avere pazienza, c'è da fare un pò di fila, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena.

30/07/2025: Nachdem wir 30 Min. auf der Strasse auf unseren reservierten Tisch gewartet haben, war das Erlebte dann wirklich nicht sehr gemütlich. Chaotische Zustände im Restaurant. Bierfässer werden im Gastraum und den Toiletten gelagert. Der Burger war trocken, unterstes Level. Ambiente, ist nicht vorhanden eingepfercht wie Tiere. Das Ganze ist einfach eine gut organisierte Abzocke.

25/08/2025: Brilliant local family pub, great atmosphere, especially when the butler family put on a show, although it is somewhat diminished by a certain member of staff, we wont mention any names, but he has red curly hair. 😂

06/04/2026: When we walked into this beautiful restaurant we were greeted by a young lady, front of desk, with a lovely warm smile. She seated us and the attention to detail we received from the wonderful staff throughout the night was nothing short of exceptional. The food was so delicious. Every single dish was flawless. We ordered about 7 starters/side dishes and enjoyed each and every one of them. There was not one single issue. The best bbq ribs I’ve ever tasted and hot and sour soup was amazing. It’s unbelievable how many Chinese restaurants destroy a simple dish like hot and sour soup but not in the case of yangs. We finished off with banana and pineapple fritters and again flawless. 2 beautiful bottles of Spanish Rioja very reasonably priced topped off the whole experience. Annie who is one of the girls looking after hospitality made us feel so welcome and is an asset most restaurants could only dream about. 5 stars. 10/10

05/08/2025: Part of the regular rotation and for good reason, food is consistently of good quality, staff are friendly and lovely people, and on the odd occasion there is a mistake, they are very quick to fix it, usually going above and beyond when they do. Thank you for all the lovely pizzas, and many more.

01/08/2025: Disappointed with my order from Bell Pepper, Kimmage I work as a delivery driver, so I know how to handle food properly to avoid leaks or spills. This time, I ordered for myself via pick-up — a soup and a spice bag. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When I got home I saw that the soup was already leaking underneath, I did put it in the termal bag with support, to do not leak but still, and it didn’t taste good at all. The spice bag was shockingly small for the price, and most of the potatoes inside were undercooked and few pieces of chicken. On top of that, it was extremely spicy — far beyond what I’ve experienced before. I’ve had plenty of spice bags from other places and they’ve been amazing, but this was the first time I ordered from Bell Pepper in Kimmage, and sadly, it will also be the last. Very disappointed. I would not recommend.

18/07/2025: Ordered a thai green curry and jasmine rice for delivery, food came well before the estimated delivery time, was piping hot and most importantly tasted delicious, excellent job, would highly recommend this place 😋

29/01/2026: Vegan options are definitely not vegan here. What sort of swindler do you have to be to have a non-vegan vegan burger? You wouldn't do something like that to someone with other diatary restrictions. Unkind staff, asked me to leave.

23/08/2025: It's an Italian place with a wonderful atmosphere. The sandwiches have delicious, crunchy bread, and the ingredients are specially designed to leave you with a great taste in your mouth. Their coconut biscuits are also delicious.

15/08/2025: The name Fair Play feels rather ironic after my visit. I popped in hoping to grab a coffee to go, accompanied by my dog. Instead of a warm greeting, I was met with a raised hand from what appeared to be the owner, signalling that I should head outside. I obliged immediately, yet even then I wasn’t offered the chance to purchase a takeaway coffee. A simple, polite explanation would have been appreciated – and frankly, a takeaway option should have been the obvious next step. Sadly, the encounter felt unwelcoming and far from the hospitality you’d expect from a local café.

31/07/2025: A wonderful place, people are so friendly. Only stopped for a cuppa, but will definitely be back.
