19/06/2026: Excellent breakfast burrito, top class coffee. The "too cool for school" guy on Saturday mornings could be a bit more on the ball and a little less smarmy, but everything else is perfect.

23/07/2026: Absolutely loved our meal earlier at Toddys! We ordered both the chicken and pork dishes, and they were fantastic. The chicken was perfectly cooked, succulent, and packed with flavour, while the pork was just as delicious and cooked to perfection. My friend paired the pork with a glass of red wine, which complemented the dish perfectly. The creamy mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables, and rich jus brought everything together beautifully. The portions were generous, the presentation was lovely, and the friendly service made the experience even better. The location is also fantastic, right at the top of O’Connell Street, making it a great spot if you’re in the city. We’re so glad my friend noticed the Today’s Specials board because it led us to such an amazing meal. Everything was spot on, and we left feeling completely satisfied. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!!

30/06/2026: Worst Croque Monsieur I have had in my life, and cold when served. The side fries weren’t cooked all the way through either

04/07/2026: This is a review of 2 separate visits, 6 years apart. In 2020, Alfie's served creme brulee. It is still the absolute best I ever had. It somehow had like a 1 inch sugar crust but the rest of the custard was still creamy and smooth and cool. As for the rest, food is above average, drinks are good and well priced, and the vibe is very chill. Even 6 years apart, aside from no more creme brulee, Alfie's is still a hit with my wife and myself.

01/07/2026: We came to dinner the fajitas were good, but the waiters could be more attentive. We had to ask for napkins two or three times.

28/03/2026: I love the coffee here and have been coming here for years, but the staff are too slow taking orders. This was early morning with 1 person in the queue. I’ve noticed this a lot recently since the male barista left he would have your order ready when you’d be coming in the door! Two staff making 1 sandwich when the majority of the queue are here for coffee. So a 5 minute coffee takes 15mins of waiting, there needs to be a separate queue for food and coffee I was also there on 10th March 2026 at 4.10pm and was told the coffee shop was closed, other people also tried going in that same evening and were turned away. I double checked the opening hours and see they’re supposed to be open until 4.30pm, I would suggest changing your opening hours as this isn’t the first time this has happened. Or else staff are just closing up early depending on the day

11/07/2026: Super cute pub. Lots of great antiques and curiosities on the walls and ceilings and beautiful wood panelling and furniture. Great patio area as well. Food was fine, basic pub fare and of course there was a decent selection of draft. Pricing was consistent with the touristy area.

08/07/2026: Service was shocking no cutlery on tables asked a few times we had to go looking for some. Found one to do between 2 of us.. By the time we where nearly finished our meal they eventually gave us some. Food was ok but very expensive
