11/08/2024: I stumbled upon this little gem accidentally when I was looking to get a coffee in the area and as soon as I entered I was immediately hypnotized by the smell of the freshly baked pastries and the display where they were displayed. That was the end of my decision not to eat sweets anymore lol. So fresh and tasteful. Great coffee as well.

23/02/2024: One star review purely because I couldn’t give no stars, which is bad considering it used to be 5 star. the only constant when dealing with news cafe is disappointment, ordered weekly for the last 15 years and since covid the orders have been wrong or portion sizes are shockingly bad, consistent when charging for everything ordered but incapable of providing the same attention to detail when making the order. 29/08/2024: I’m a burger addict and because of that, I’m always on the lookout for great burger. Whilst seeing all the sightseeing that Dublin has to offer, decided to look for a decent smashed burger and this Dash burger came into my quick search on google. As it had very excellent reviews, I decided to march in there to try it out. After explaining to the guy at the front that I just wanted the simplest burger to take out(refusing all the extras, bacon, sauces, etc), was presented with a brown take out bag about 5 minutes after. Left the place and as soon as I left, decided to try it out. OMG you guys are not gonna believe, it was amazingly good and went straight to the top of my burger list. Just the right amount of seasoning with loads of fried onions and melting cheese. Just a shame it was over quite quickly. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.🤤🤤

19/08/2024: Overall meh, didn't give me the right amount of change (I didn't say anything for 5 cents) Jalapeno croquettes are peppers with crème fraîche basically The meat tastes cheap but maybe it's the country that wants that and not the establishment It was still not bad but not really worth the price.

09/08/2024: Excellent meal at The Rustic Stone earlier this week. Starters of fresh Oysters weren't drowned in overpowering sauce, but had just a hint of dressing allowing the real flavour to shine through. Steak mains were incredibly flavoursome, beure blanc and peppercorn sauces on the side with tasty parmesan fries and perfectly cooked broccoli. Wines were good value and the service was outstanding. While I understand that this restaurant is busy at weekends, I was puzzled as to why this gem wasn't packed to the rafters mid-week! An added bonus is the cool cocktail bar upstairs. Will def go back.

23/03/2024: Needs a manager - Ballymun has been crying out for a cafe / eatery for years and I wish Grian the best . 4 staff on but no presence of anyone in charge , ordered a full Irish breakfast but the eggs came out rock hard . Beans were cold and I recorded my eggs when requested and the waitress knew straight away as she saw how over cooked the eggs were . Ordered a 2nd cup of tea which never arrived and paid the bill minus the extra tea that was on the receipt . Food half decent but it definitely needs a senior person / manager over seeing service and food .

21/11/2024: Can I start by saying I don't think iv ever given a bad review. If I have it's been that long ago, I dint remember. My husband ate there, I didn't. He said it tasted lovely which is why we are giving it 2 stars. First of all it's card payments only. My husband went to hand them 20 euro and they told him card only. He walked back to where I was sitting to get the card and the staff were clearly talking about him and looked at us as if we had 10 heads or as if cash was some foreign concept. Secondly I hope they wash they bowls properly. There was a staff member with a small bundle of the bowls and was wiping them down with a blue cloth. She didn't seem to spray anything on the bowls or cloth. I just cringed a little and was kinda glad I didn't have anything to eat.

24/10/2024: Whenever I'm passing this cafe . I make it my business to stop in and get food. I've only ever got breakfast rolls but it's the nicest freshest food I've tasted . It's definitely my #1 to go to for rolls

18/10/2024: It was quite crowded when I went on a Friday night. It felt like an Irish pub, and there was live music, so the atmosphere was really nice. I also liked that the cider was reasonably priced at €6.5.

28/07/2024: Nice design and great food: I ordered sausages and mashed potatoes without expecting much, and the dish was a very positive surprise! The venue has a nice design too, and there was overall a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, despite one slight issue: we were a party of 9, but only 8 chairs were prepared, and we had to wait quite a bit to get a 9th one.

25/07/2024: Absolutely delicious food. Group ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was very happy. Tomato salad was spectacular. Everything prepared with great skill. Highly recommend.
