16/10/2025: A great little café where the food (both savory and sweet) is delicious! There's a wide selection of cakes, all very good. Very friendly staff; I highly recommend it! The entrance through the bookstore makes the experience even more unique!

19/07/2025: The place is between the docks and Trinity College. So, it's very well located. We stayed there (check-in at 3:00 PM), but you can leave your luggage upon arrival. The room is comfortable, quite spacious, and equipped with a functional bathroom. The mattress is very comfortable. The evening meal in the pub was fantastic. The service was remarkable, with a very efficient young lady available. The food was very good. There was a choice of three ciders and several beers.

25/10/2025: I was in the Elephant & Castle in Sandyford a few days ago for lunch on my work break. It was my first time at this location and I loved it!!! I had been to the branch in temple bar many times but I loved how spacious this branch is in Sandyford, and the bar area looked very cool too! I had the lasagna bites and the halloumi burger and it was one of the best halloumi dishes I’ve ever had!! The staff were very welcoming and I also observed how attentive they were with being very quick to clear tables and clean them and re-set them. As someone who worked in the hospitality sector before I was amazed the staff had such great initiative!! Highly recommend this place!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

24/10/2025: Been here many times and had a good experience, but I came for lunch with my family in the afternoon. Wanted to order steak, none left at 2pm in the afternoon, that's okay. Due to lack of availability on the new menu (which is about 50% the size of the old menu), someone at the table wanted to order a starter from the kids menu, and the young lady waitress refused it and said we cannot order it, and immediately moved on to the next person. I'd love to see where this rule is, because in my experience if a restaurant is out of steak, any place that has bare minimum standards for service would let the table order what they requested, especially if your other items aren't available. And from what I found online there's no age limit on the kids menu or rule against certain people ordering, so I'd like to understand why this waitress decided to be so blunt as to not allow my younger sister to order her second choice. And that much is understandable, but after this the waitress didn't give us any water after this and we had to flag down a different waiter for almost anything we ended up requiring during our meal. Quite unhelpful and rude staff member, although we have been before and staff are usually very good, and the bartender on the day was sound, so was quite disappointed with the service throughout, even once the place was no longer busy.

03/05/2025: The drinks were nice, but I had to collect my coffee myself. Although it was ready, no one called me to pick it up, and I waited a long time while the staff were busy chatting among themselves. I can understand if the coffee shop operates on a self-service basis, but at the very least, customers should be notified when their order is ready. Instead, the drinks were left sitting there and ended up being cold. If you don’t check for yourself, they’ll just leave it there. Overall, not a good experience.

24/04/2025: Very comfortable, to study and relaxation

01/10/2025: I visited this place on 30th september, 2025. I had ordered pizza and fries. The food was good. When I had to wash the hands, the staff told me that the washroom was out of order. I remember visiting this place a year ago and it was in the same condition back then too. I cleaned my hand with the tissue paper but it was still a bit untidy. So, I had to wash my hands in some other shop. I request the management to get the washroom repaired and to make it available to customers as soon as possible so that other people don't have to face the same problem.

16/09/2025: I ordered on the website, once it said out for delivery I waited in the hotel lobby where pick up was arranged and after 40 mins it still was not there, then I rang the store and the person on the phone didn’t seem bothered that my food hadn’t arrived, I asked if it could be remade as it wasn’t going to be fresh anymore, they said the would but never bothered the food came cold and unfresh will never order from here again the service was terrible and so was the food

04/09/2025: The best noodles with vegetables and chicken at a good price

28/08/2025: Found this place while looking for a bargain. Great chicken fried rice with lots of veg and a good level of spice (though some might find it too spicy). Friendly guy working at the counter and limited seating, only 2 seats. More of a takeaway kind of restaurant. I was impressed by the value, as this is a lot of good food for for only 9€! I’ll be coming back next time I’m in Dublin.

17/10/2025: A hidden gem in the heart of Ranelagh! Mak is an absolute delight: the food is truly high quality, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, and the service is efficient and friendly without ever feeling rushed. For the quality you get, the prices are very reasonable. A perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: Stunning restaurant, staff lovely. Unfortunately food not great, chicken very dry and overcooked expected way more for the price.

27/10/2025: Have dinners safe for coeliacs However I dont trust this place for breakfast at all. They use the same pair of tongs for everything including the toast. Its confusing considering their menu board marks c as coeliac friendly.

23/09/2025: ordered a goujon wrap and an omelette for my mam. The omelette was ok peppers were just put on wasnt cooked in with the omelette. Then i waited an hour for my wrap as they forgot about it and it wasnt busy when i ordered so i wont go there again

29/07/2025: Decent spot, issues can get a bit lost in translation sometimes, went in for a new wheel and ended up with a new tire instead. and the prices can be a bit steep, but if you’re going in looking for parts or lights etc it’s a good spot and there’s a good range of things you can look through while you’re there

20/09/2025: Really nice burrito, nice friendly staff, quick service, fair price. Only reason it wasn't 5-star was because it wasn't a Michelin star restaurant. Would happily make it my regular burrito place.

19/09/2025: I had a great experience at this bubble tea shop Ea-Tea! The staff were really nice and very accommodating, always ready with recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised by their dim sum menu — delicious, fresh, and such a good complement to the drinks. Everything is fairly priced, which is quite unusual in Dublin these days where prices are generally high. Great value for money and definitely worth a visit! 💯❤️

09/09/2025: I love Taro tea but not many Tea places does it that taste good. This is one of the few! I usually go to my "reliable bubble tea shop" but decided to try this one for a change and it didn't disappoint. I've stopped there with my two little kids and as it was lunch time we got some chichen pop corn and chips as well with our Taro bubble teas. Chicken is super delicious! What a treat and surprise. We liked so much we got more to take home as the ration is good for one person and we are three so we kinda fought a bit over that chicken 😂 There are few tables inside for a quick stop and snack and it's just on front of Parnell Luas stop. Staff are also welcoming and friendly. My son says the man in the counter looks like one of the guys in Demon K-pop Hunter but I'm not sure about that or who 😅 He also says he wants to come back again. And we will!

25/10/2025: Here on Friday 24th, October for the KEVENT. A tallish man with greying hair and glasses treated my wife and myself with utter disrespect at the cloakroom screaming at us and many other customers. Then later in the night we were stood up by the bar in the dancing area and the same man quite aggressively pushed myself and grabbed my wife below the hips to move us away because we were apparently “In the way”. Utterly disgusting behaviour from a location and event that are both so popular. Disgusted.
